Learning media is one of the learning tools that is needed so that the learning process can run smoothly and students can have competencies in accordance with the expected competency goals. This paper discusses: (1) developing a Human Machine Interface (HMI) training kit as a learning medium in the Industrial Automation engineering Practical Course; (2) the performance of the HMI training kit; (3) the feasibility of the HMI training kit based on the assessment of media experts, material experts and student responses as training kit users. In developing this training kit using the ADDIE model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Data collection was carried out by testing the performance of the media, and giving a questionnaire to media experts to assess the feasibility of the media aspect, a material expert questionnaire to assess the appropriateness of the material and a questionnaire to determine student responses as users. The data were analyzed by means of quantitative descriptive analysis which were then categorized. The result of this development is HMI practice learning media for industrial automation engineering practice courses which consist of HMI practice hardware, and jobsheets. The performance of the HMI training kit for input and output parameters, visualization of engine control in the form of buttons, sliders, output visualization, indicator lights, and overall graphics have a 100% correct performance. Based on media experts, design aspects, technical aspects and usefulness aspects were rated very well, so that overall the media aspect received an assessment in the very proper category Based on material experts, technical aspects and aspects of usefullness received an assessment in the very good category, so that overall the material aspect received an assessment in the very proper category. Based on assesment of students as users, the average score student response falls into the very good category.

This study focused on the modulus of rupture (MOR) for high strength self-compacting concrete (SCC) using varied metakaolin (MK) composition. The MOR significantly contributes to the resilience and mechanical performance of the rigid pavement, and is enhanced by modifying the regular concrete material. In addition, the MK is known to be potentially economical and occurs abundantly as natural resources. Plain concrete beams with dimensions 400 x 100 x 100 mm3, were tested in the laboratory in an effort to measure the MOR from varied MK composition for each specimen or modified concrete type. The result showed the MOR increase is exclusively as a result of additional metakaolin. Also, the newly modified material was proven to offer more advantages when applied as rigid pavement material. Furthermore, the analytical laboratory result showed the optimum MK dosage was estimated at 20% of the binder weight. This subsequently enhances the MOR by 17.28% compared to non-MK concrete.

A room can be said to be a good one if the lighting following the requirements of needs depends on the function of the room. The room studied in this study was a drawing studio room in E12 Building, faculty of engineering UNNES. This room has a condition where the spread of light entering from the window is uneven so during the day the lights must always be turned on. The purpose of this study is to measure and evaluate the lighting intensity of the drawing studio space. This research was conducted using descriptive and evaluative methods. The data obtained is sourced from the results of direct light intensity measurements on the object of research conducted in the morning, afternoon, and evening for three days using a lux meter and measurements made referring to SNI 16-7062-2004 about measuring the intensity of lighting at work. The results of the measurement of lighting intensity in the image studio room will be compared with the SNI recommended standards. According to SNI 03-6575-2001, the standard requirement for a lux studio drawing space is 750 lux. The result, both when the lamp is turned on and the lamp turns off the measurement results do not meet the standards. It is recommended to increase the intensity of artificial lighting (lights) in the drawing studio until it meets the SNI 750 lux standard. From the results of calculations with the lumen method, it is recommended to replace each lamp with a lamp that has a light current of 9360 lumens.

The method used is the Software Development Life Cycle with the Waterfall model. The stages in Waterfall model are: (1) requirements definition; (2) system and software design; (3) implementation and unit testing; (4) integration and system testing; (5) operation and maintenance. The black box test results show the performance of Sensor application software can all function properly. The difficulty in controlling the proper bonding during manufacturing sandwich for ship structure is a major problem. One of the damage types that often occurs is debonding caused by the lack of the adhesive layer bond between the two faceplate materials and the sandwich core at the centre. Furthermore, the identification of damage in ship structure becomes essential to ensure the structural integrity and security issues. Based on the issues above, damage identification on the sandwich plate of Ferry Ro-Ro with several debonding ratios using the k-NN algorithm was proposed. The cross-validation method was used to check the validity of the proposed algorithm model in practice. The proposed models were analyzed with various k-fold values, k-NN values, and number of iterations to investigate the influence of the those parameters on the accuracy of the model. From the result, it can be found that increasing k-fold value is the best strategy to increase the accuracy of the model. However, increase number of neighbors (k) caused a bias so that the accuracy decreased. The tests resulted in the highest accuracy of 97.60% obtained at k-fold 11 with k=3 and 90 iterations. It can be summarized that the large number of k-folds and small k-NN parameters do not require large iterations to obtain high prediction results.

Biomass gasification converts into syngas through the gasification process is promising for renewable energy utilization. Although gasification is a sustainable and environmentally-friendly technology for value-added utilization of biomass, yield percentage is the major problem during biomass gasification. An optimized gasifier and highly active catalyst were proved to be effective for biomass production. Furthermore, the decomposition pathway was also important to advance the gasification reactors and catalyst design. This paper summarized the fundamentals, such as gasifier types, zeolite catalysts, and reaction and deactivation mechanisms. This review also sheds light on other excellent catalysts, effective gasifier, and catalyst reaction mechanisms are also discussed in detail. At last, the paper ends with a conclusion and a prospective discussion of the lab-scale research. At the contact time of 240 minutes, with a column height of 30 cm, at a temperature of 450 oC, the concentration of syngas promise well.
