Palm oil industry is one of the leading industrial sectors in Indonesia. In order to fulfill CPO demand as well as increasing of CPO sales, a research to analyse the supply chain flow of CPO was conducted. This research was conducted in ABC company, which is a privately owned business entity engaged in oil palm plantations located in South Tapanuli Regency, Indonesia. Analysis of supply chain had been done by using Food Supply Chain Network (FSCN) to define the integration of key business processes provided by original suppliers that provide products, services, and information from end users to customers and other stakeholders. Result of this research clearly defined the supply chain process with a clear flow of material, information and finance. The key process of CPO supply chain is the distribution of raw materials of CPO, namely fresh fruit bunches (FFB) which were collected from privately owned oil palm plantations and nearby community gardens, then processed in mills, deliver to storage tank, and export to customers. Analysis of this case study provided a clear description of CPO supply chain and may let further researchers to easily examine the potential risks at each stages and actors of CPO supply chain.

A recent article published in Science urges mandatory indoor air quality (IAQ) standards in public spaces, focusing on protecting public health, especially against diseases such as COVID-19, but also IAQ in general (). Given the significance of this topic to our society, this short communication aims to provide commentary on the article and further discuss the importance of establishing IAQ standards. Citing a lack of legislated standards globally, the authors () propose numerical limits for four IAQ parameters: particulate matter (PM), carbon dioxide (CO), carbon monoxide (CO), and ventilation rate (VR). While recognizing that most of the countries do not have any mandatory IAQ standards, it is also noteworthy that IAQ regulations or guidelines exist in more than 40 countries. We like to emphasize that successful IAQ management requires recognizing, sharing, and reviewing openly available, existing regulations and guidelines, while adapting them to regional characteristics.

The aim of this research was to determine the influence of liquid fertiliser that comes from the waste of dairy farms for soil quality and vegetative growth of coffee plants. There are three kinds of fertilization intensity (treatment) that is without fertilization (K0), one-times fertilization (C1) and two-times fertilisation (C2). The results were analysed using Group Randomized Design as experimental design; ANOVA and Tukey Test 5% as analysis method. The results showed that the treatment affects soil quality. The treatment also gives a significant influence (p < 0.05) at the height rate of coffee plants in the 2nd week and the canopy diameter rate of coffee plant in the 2nd and 4th week. The results of this research are expected to provide input especially for cattle farmers and coffee planters who want to integrate their livestock and their crops.

Industrialization and domestic activities very potentially to contribute water pollution addition especially into a river. One of domestic activities that may produce wastewater is a hospital activity. Public Regional Hospital in Tulungagung is located at Kedungwaru that will developed in order to further support the existing infrastructure. Assessment towards water quality and load pollution capacity of Ngrowo River as wastewater receiver is very important before hospital development began. The method used in this research was mass balance method, pollution index to determine of water pollution status based on the parameters of temperature, pH, total suspended solids (TSS), dissolved oxygen (DO), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), nitrate and phosphate. The quality parameters obtained in this study were compared with the class II water quality standard. The maximum pollutant load was calculated to determine the pollution load capacity. The result show that water quality of Ngrowo River was categorized in low pollution (around 3.75 – 3.99 for index pollution) based on class of II of water quality standard. Load pollution capacity at downstream have exceeded 28,673.3 kg/day for BOD and 34,339.3 kg/day for COD in existing condition. Based on the findings in this study, it is recommended that hospitals are obliged to have wastewater treatment plant installed. Such approach is critical to maintain the quality of surroundings environments as well as to prevent water pollution to occur.

The use of sustainable materials is greatly essential for green construction. Cement-based grout composition can be arranged by partially replacing cement content with the pozzolanic material such as fly ash, bottom ash, or others. The investigation of the utilization of fly ash replacement partially for cementitious materials of grout for pre-placed aggregate concrete was summarized in this study. This experimental study focused on investigating the appropriate grout composition in term of flow time using flow cone apparatus and compressive strength of the grout. A water-cement ratio, cement-sand ratio, fly-ash dosage in the mixture are the variable of the test. Mechanical properties of grout for pre-placed aggregate concrete, including compressive strength at 7, 14, 28, and 60 days were evaluated. The result indicated that increasing the dosage of pozzolanic material of the grout used in pre-placed aggregate concrete can lead the shorter efflux time and has a significant effect in term of hardened properties of the grout.

Communities in Sepanjang Beach have utilized the macroalgae as main ingredients in various special processed products. The objective of this study was to analyze the content of fat, water, and ash in Chlorophyceae, Rhodophyceae, and Phaeophyceae macroalgae at Sepanjang Beach, Yogyakarta, Indonesia to support optimization of macroalgae processed products. This research was conducted at Sepanjang Beach, Gunungkidul District, Yogyakarta, Indonesia in August 2020. A method of descriptive exploratory was used in this research. Analysis of fat content, water, and ash content was carried out on Ulva lactuta, Palmaria palmata, Sargassum crassifolium, Gelidium spinosum, Gelidiella acerosa, and Gracilaria verrucosa quantitatively using Soxhlet method for content of fat, the thermogravimetric method for content of water, and gravimetric method for content of ash. The results showed that the highest fat, water, and ash content was found in U. lactuta in the central of Sepanjang Beach 0.174%, S. crassifolium in the eastern 89.460%, and U. lactuta in the eastern 8.715% respectively.

This study aims to determine the dominant risk factors occurring during the implementation of building construction and to know how to control and handle the risk factors that occur. The methodology used is a quantitative method with a questionnaire as a research instrument. The number of samples used was 55 respondents from a population of 121 companies. Based on the analysis of frequency index (FI), there are dominant risk factors that occur in the implementation of building construction in Pidie District. The dominant risk factors are skills and expertise, weather, access to the project location, unequipped workers with protective equipment, wrong implementation method, the expensive material, incomplete design data, low quality of material, damage to the tool, and a lack of workers. Furthermore, the ways to control and handle risks that occur during the construction project are increasing the trust of the owner, having knowledgable company management and competent workforce, reducing security disturbances, increasing collaboration with local village officials, minimizing equipment damage, managing material purchases before the prices rise, and mastering the implementation method.

The datalink system is required for communication between the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) to the GCS (Ground Control System). In this research, a hairpin BPF (Band Pass Filter) filter will be designed to develop block RF components in the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) datalink system. The filter is designed at specific ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical) for frequency of 2.401-2.483GHz according to WiFi application with standard 802.11 b/g/n. The UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) datalink system with this frequency can pass telemetry data and payload data in one frequency channel. NPC H220A substrate with a dielectric constant of 2.18 and a thickness of 1.2 mm was used to design the BPF filter. The filter simulation results show the S11 values ranging from <-18.38 dB to-20dB at a frequency of 2.401GHz – 2.483GHz. Insertion loss values are obtained from <-1.4 dB to 0.76 dB. It is hoped that this filter design can be used for RF system applications on the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) communication datalink that is being developed.
