The Housing of Trangkil Sejahtera and Trangkil Baru are two housing areas located in the Village of Sukorejo, Gunungpati District, Semarang Municipality. In 2014, these housing areas were experienced landslide triggered by heavy rains that continued to fall across Semarang for several days. Successive landslides occurred on January 23, 2014 early in the morning until 07.30 am. Seven houses in Trangkil Sejahtera Housing were damaged by landslide, while in Trangkil Baru Housing there were 32 homes that severely damaged. The housing was located in a zone with high degree of susceptibility to landslide and stated as landslide prone areas by the Directorate of Environmental Geology. The objective of this article is to analyze the facts that the low income homebuyers basically do not understand the importance of accessing the information of land, infrastructure quality and specifications of the house. The analysis is conducted by comparing the landslide background and the homebuyer’s condition background at the time the housing was purchased. The results showed that people who occupied the housing were victims of evictions and in low-income condition. A low-income homeowner has a low bargaining position in obtaining adequate housing infrastructure quality. Developers did not prepare proper infrastructure system to anticipate landslides and fulfill legal aspects of the real estate development. Low income homeowners should be educated about legal aspect of land purchased as well as their rights when buying a home.

The magnificence of Bali makes this city famous as the world paradise among travellers. Its natural beauty emerges from its landscape, condensed culture and the local community. In southern Bali, the tranquil sandy beaches and karst landscapes attract few tourists, whereas their well-preserved sites store appealing facets of geological phenomena, heritage and tourism which differ to other tourism spots in Bali. This study aims to promote geotourism of Nusa Dua and Nusa Penida in Southern Bali with regards to the geological aspect of carbonate development, bioclastic sedimentation, tidal and wave abrasion, karstification, the emergence of freshwater spring on the sandy beaches and the dissemination of vertebrate fossil in the underwater cave. Geological observation is carried out to investigate karst and beaches morphologies, the geometry of reef carbonate and its karstification proce ss as well as the constituent of abundant white-sand sediments. The collected samples of sands and rocks from 4 sampling sites were analyzed using petrography analysis to identify the rock types and sand composition, while laser diffraction particle size is used to indicate the size distribution and how intense the winnowing process occurred. As a result, the existence of carbonate outcrops in Nusa Dua and Nusa Penida beaches is caused by tectonic uplift that elevates the pre-existing coral reef from shallow marine into the surface. In the surface, the reef carbonate underwent dissolution and karstification, which generated cave or other unique geometry. The discovery of vertebrate fossils in the underwater cave of the Stiva cave, Nusa Penida, reveals that this cave became a shelter for prehistoric human before it was inundated by seawater after the last maximum glaciation. Subsequently, reef carbonate growths perpetually to compensate the sea-level rise, uplifted again to surface and karstified until the present time. Another interesting object is the presence of nearshore groundwater

Load Balancing is very well applied to the distribution of internet access at any point of the Wi-Fi area so that the use of limited devices can be optimal and on target. The proper use of the Greedy Algorithms when applied to an access point device is very capable in resolving excessive loading in a single resource to take the best choice at every stage in an optimum process. Access point device is also a success factor in running the optimization of the distribution of Wi-Fi access on the Access Point is strongly influenced by the parameters set. In this research, user access factor in one very high Wi-Fi area also influences the possibility of incoming access failure. For the application of the results of this study can be utilized on all access point devices that have limits, but for speed internet access remains at the capacity provided bandwidth.

Dust is one of the causes of decreased air quality, for it needs a remote-controlled dust gauge and bias store data measurement results. During this measuring device there is no data storage facility of measurement results, for the need for storage of data measurement results. Storage of measured data using internet of things displayed through PC. So no longer need to dating record to the measurement of dust, simply see the results of measurements through the PC, which can be seen bias measurements an minutes. In building this dust meter using NODEMCU, sensor type gp2y1010au0f sharp, step down, 16x2 LCD. Measurement of dust is done at campus area 2 at four point location that is canteen, entrance of campus 2, electro laboratory warehouse and front page of campus 2. Measurement of dust conducted on 22 and 23 March 2018 at 12:51-12:55, 13:13-13:17, 06:58-07:02, 07:43-07:47, 05:51-05:55, 06:01-06:07, 00:00-00:04, and 00:42-00:46. The result of measurement of dust at campus area 2 at the entrance of the parking at 13:13-13:17 dust concentration tends to rise from 0.1-0.3 when the students come home. The canteen area at 12:15-12:55 concentration of dust tends to rise, that is 0.08-0.1 mg/m3 when the student breaks college.

The islands of Sumatra accommodate the collision of the Indies-Australian plate pressing the Eurasian plate at a speed of 5-6 cm/yr at the boundary between the plates along the west coast of Sumatra (Natawidjaja, D.H., 2007). The oblique collision between the two plates formed a subduction zone in the western part of the island of Sumatra and a number of fault segments on the island of Sumatra. Subduction zones and cesareans segments that are formed actively move so often cause earthquakes in the region. Mentawai islands are located in the westernmost part of Sumatra and belong to the subduction zone of Mentawai Segment Mentawai Islands movement can be identified using GPS observation data. The data used are GPS observation data from 2013 to 2016 coming from Sumatran GPS Array (SuGAr) Network. The data is processed using software GAMIT / GLOBK 10.6. The results of the GPS data processing will be processed to produce velocity velocities and strain values of each GPS observation station used to observe deformation activity on the Mentawai Islands. The results of GPS observation data processing showed vector movement in Mentawai Islands referenced to Sundaland Block leads to the northeast on the northern part of the Mentawai Islands, heading southwest to the southern part of the Mentawai Islands, and heading north to the central part of the Mentawai Islands. The strain obtained from data processing showed that the Mentawai Islands experienced an interseismic phase in the north, a post-seismic phase in the south and a transitional phase in the middle.

The solution to solve these challenges is the waste management. The waste management is needed to solve starting from upstream to downstream. The waste management in downstream is in the landfill. The management Landfill not only manages solid waste but also waste water treatment. One form of waste water treatments in a landfill is the leachate treatment. The leachate treatment is a priority for management in landfill because it can reduce water, soil, air pollution in the landfill and the surrounding environment. In order to determine the best option among several alternatives to manage the leachate treatment, this research used Analytic Network Process (ANP) with three levels (actors, criteria, and alternatives). Secondary and primary data collection was carried out from April until June 2019 in Indonesia. Data were collected through a survey using questionnaire instrument. Participants of questionnaire amount of 20 people. The participants from lecturers, government, and society. The finding of this research showed that the leachate treatment using coagulation-flocculation was easier to be used in Indonesia.

Bogor regency consists of 40 districts, 23 are prone tonatural disasters. Klapanunggal district is listed in 10 districts declared as most vulnerable to natural disasters. Natural disasters could lead to loss of property and infrastructure damage and will affect the food security in the region. Food shortages is one example of the condition which causes food insecurity. The aim of this research is to analyze the government's food security strategy in anticipation of disaster with a case study of food insecurity in Klapanunggal district. The analysis suggested that; 1) FSVA is an appropriate program to identify food shortage areas, 2) Food Shortage Relief program (program Penanganan Daerah Rawan Pangan-PDRP) is the optimal efforts in reducing food shortages in the region, 3)The mismatch between FSVA indicators and Food Shortage Relief program makes Klapanunggal district difficult in achievingfree status food-shortage. Based on the analysis, it is suggested that the implementation of Food Shortages Relief program could be carried out based on the priority issues and implemented with integrated coordination and assistance among stakeholders. Such priority issues, integrated coordination and assistance are fully analyzed in this study.

Porang is the native plant and sources of glucomannan in Indonesia, but the utilization is limited. The presence of calcium oxalate in the porang tuber can cause to the health problem. The milling and air clarifying are the need to eliminate the impurities, i.e. calcium oxalate for producing pure porang flour. The aims of this present research were to know the effect of feed rate and inlet air velocity to reduce calcium oxalate on porang chips using micro mill assisted cyclone separator. This research divided to be 2 stages, the first stage was the determined the condition of feed rate and the inlet air velocity of the cyclone separator, and the second stage was to trial milling with the condition that obtained in the first stage. The result showed the range of feed rate of 45 – 55 kg/h and the inlet air velocity of 3 – 7 m/s. The feed rate and the inlet air velocity had a significant effect (p < 0.05) on the yield, the degree of whiteness, and calcium oxalate of porang flour. Overall, the best treatment was obtained at the feed rate of 50 kg/h and 7 m/s in the inlet air velocity of the cyclone separator.
