Indonesia, as one of the largest coffee producers and exporters in the world, has experienced significant growth in the number of coffee shops, driven by increasing consumer demand for ready-to-drink coffee. This study aims to enhance sales performance at Authen Café and Space through the implementation of a menu bundling strategy. By utilizing data mining techniques and the Apriori algorithm, customer purchasing patterns were analyzed to identify optimal menu combinations. The data was collected directly at Authen Cafe during the period from April to August 2028. The analysis revealed that bundling strategies, such as combining Ayam Rica-Rica with Es Kopi Susu Karamel, are effective in increasing sales volume and product popularity among consumers. Furthermore, this study evaluated the impact of offering discounts on bundled packages on the café's profitability, demonstrating that this approach can boost net profit without sacrificing profit margins. This research provides significant insights into the application of data-driven marketing strategies within the café'industry and offers guidance for more effective managerial decision-making. © 2024 IEEE.

The growth of the metropolitan area has necessitated an increase in the demand for freshwater. One of the issues facing modern life is water treatment plant to supporting the communities. The approaches for treatment of the brackish water were carried out utilizing a wide range of technologies and technology. Many different technologies have been created recently to transform brackish water into freshwater using a variety of methods and equipment. One approach to produce extremely tiny water droplets is ultrasonic vibrating mesh. In this research, the performance of ultrasonic vibrating mesh has been investigated to purified the brackish water. This technique is similar to the distillation method in purification system of water traditionally. The evaluation of performance in this context has revolved around two key metrics: the rate of pure water production and the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels. Notably, the TDS content of brackish water saw a significant reduction, di-minishing by approximately 50 ppm, while the resulting quality of the pure water averaged at 354.6 ppm. Concurrently, the flow rate of pure water output was measured at an impressive 4.3 grams per minute. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

Oil content estimation in palm fruits is a precious property that significantly impacts oil palm production,starting from the upstream and *** content can be used to monitor the progress of the oil palm fresh fruit bunch(FFB)and be applied to identify product *** on the near-infrared(NIR)signals,this study proposes an empirical mode decomposition(EMD)technique to decompose signals and predict the oil content of palm ***,350 palm fruits with Tenera varieties(Elaeis guineensis ***),at various ages of maturity,were harvested from the Cikabayan Oil Palm Plantation(IPB University,Indonesia).Second,each sample was sent directly to the laboratory for NIR signal measurements and oil content ***,the EMD analysis and arti-ficial neural network(ANN)were employed to correlate the NIR signals and oil ***,a robust EMD-ANN model is generated by optimizing the lowest possible *** on performance evaluation,the proposed technique can predict oil content with a coefficient of determination(R2)of 0.933±0.015 and a root mean squared error(RMSE)of 1.446±*** results demonstrate that the model has a good predictive capacity and has the potential to predict the oil content of palm fruits directly,without neither solvents nor reagents,which makes it environmentally ***,the proposed technique has a promising potential to be applied in the oil palm *** like this will lead to the effective and efficient management of oil palm production.

Fly ash waste from the Asam-Asam Power Plant in South Kalimantan continues to increase. Various attempts have been made to utilize fly ash waste, among others. as a basic material for making geopolymers. Geopolymer is environmentally friendly because it replaces all cement with high Silica (Si) and Alumina (Al) wastes such as fly ash. This study aims to characterize fly ash as a raw material of geopolymer. Fly ash was filtered using 200 mesh and then heated in an oven at 105°C for 24 hours. The prepared fly ash was then tested for physical properties and compound analysis using XRF, identification of chemical bonds and functional groups using FTIR, morphology, and elements using SEM EDX. Initial and final setting time was investigated using the Vicat apparatus to determine e whether cement is undergoing proper hydration. The results indicated that the fly ash was classified to class F. That was based on the amount of SiO2 + Al2O3 + Fe2O3 of 85.91%, and the CaO content was less than 10%. Moreover, fly ash's initial and final setting time was 1072.5 and 3180 minutes, respectively. Fly ash in this research can be used as a raw material for geopolymers. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This research focuses on Sanur Harbor, an inter-island ferry port located in southern Bali. The majority of visitors to Sanur Harbor are tourists who want to travel to Nusa Penida Island. At this port, facilities are available in the form of a Public Address System (PAS) and Information officers whose job is to provide information regarding the arrival and departure of ships. However, the effectiveness of this facility is limited for deaf people. Deaf people often have difficulty getting this information independently and often have to rely on manual assistance from officers. This research aims to develop software based on sign language video integration which aims to increase the accessibility of departure and arrival information at Sanur Harbor for deaf people in Bali. The software development method uses a user-centered design development approach which involves the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. Sign language videos will be integrated into the software as a medium to convey important information about ship departure and arrival schedules, travel routes, pier names, fast boat names, and other important information to deaf users. Evaluation is carried out through user testing and collecting feedback from users regarding understandability, usability, and user satisfaction with the software being developed. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a positive contribution to increasing information accessibility for deaf people in Sanur Harbor and can become a basis for developing similar technology in other locations. © 2024 IEEE.

Environmental noise has a negative impact on human health and well-being. Real-time noise monitoring for effective noise control and management helps to identify noise sources and areas with high noise pollution, and potential mitigation strategies in urban planning. This paper reports work with a pilot scale system that can continuously collect noise data to assess noise levels accurately for real-time monitoring of environmental noise, focusing on hardware and software aspects and potential applications. The system permits the transfer of measurement data to the central server computer, with storage and display there, with the code written using Python. This system includes Web integration, with open source technologies to provide data access, and is based on Wi-Fi communication and a Control Card with Wi-Fi technology. © 2023 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

One of the critical visual components in video game creation is 3D asset prototypes, which also require significant effort. A procedural model using the L-system method for making low-poly buildings can address this issue. This model produces low-poly buildings based on simple parameters input by the user. The model receives input in the form of axioms, which are then processed according to predetermined L-system rules. After the building is formed, it is saved as a prefab in Unity so that it can be reused and modified by the user. The proposed method is implemented to our turn-based tactic *** and provided as a Unity package (add-on). Experimental results show that the buildings generated by the model have a minimalistic yet functional benefits. © 2024 IEEE.

In the last decade, the Indonesian government has implemented a program to use biodiesel as a substitute for fossil diesel to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. On the other hand, the development of biodiesel as an alternative fuel to replace fossil diesel has several challenges, one of which is the production of biodiesel, which is more complicated and requires a long process. However, the direct use of crude palm oil (CPO) in diesel engines is not recommended because it has many drawbacks. Research recently shows that fuel additives in diesel engines have promising prospects. Therefore, to solve the problem, this study used pure palm oil (PPaO) as the primary fuel, with the addition of silicon oxide (SiO2) as a fuel additive in diesel engines. The results showed that using SiO2 additive in PPaO can increase thermal efficiency by 18.8% at 60% load compared to diesel fuel (DF). Nevertheless, using this fuel increased specific fuel consumption (SFC) by 3.9% on average and increased the opacity by 153% compared to diesel fuel. These results indicate that SiO2 has the potential to be developed as an effective additive to PPaO fuel that can improve the efficiency and performance of diesel engines. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing. A strategy for out-of-roundness damage wheels identification in railway vehicles based on sparse autoencoders

Wayside monitoring is a promising cost-effective alternative to predict damage in the rolling stock. The main goal of this work is to present an unsupervised methodology to identify out-of-roundness(OOR) damage wheels, such as wheel flats and polygonal wheels. This automatic damage identification algorithm is based on the vertical acceleration evaluated on the rails using a virtual wayside monitoring system and involves the application of a two-step procedure. The first step aims to define a confidence boundary by using(healthy) measurements evaluated on the rail constituting a baseline. The second step of the procedure involves classifying damage of predefined scenarios with different levels of severities. The proposed procedure is based on a machine learning methodology and includes the following stages:(1) data collection,(2) damage-sensitive feature extraction from the acquired responses using a neural network model, i.e., the sparse autoencoder(SAE),(3) data fusion based on the Mahalanobis distance, and(4) unsupervised feature classification by implementing outlier and cluster analysis. This procedure considers baseline responses at different speeds and rail irregularities to train the SAE model. Then, the trained SAE is capable to reconstruct test responses(not trained) allowing to compute the accumulative difference between original and reconstructed signals. The results prove the efficiency of the proposed approach in identifying the two most common types of OOR in railway wheels.

Land degradation is defined as a condition in which the quantity and quality of land resources needed to support ecosystem functions and services and increase food security continues to decline on a temporal and spatial scale under certain ecosystem conditions (Sarino et al. in IOP Conf Ser Earth Environ Sci, pp 1–10, 2019). These changes, combined with population growth, have led to the conversion of agricultural land to developed land, high exploitation of natural and mineral resources, and urbanization, which usually leads to more significant land degradation (Putranto et al. in pp 100016-1–100016-10, 2017). Sub-watershed scale analysis related to the distribution of degraded land by utilizing multi-temporal geospatial layers (Putranto et al. in Int J Geomate 14(45):28–34, 2018) helps provide a regionally consistent data set of required land distribution. Therefore, it can support agendas aligned with sustainable development goals (SDGs) (Guo et al. in 11:1–20, 2019). By utilizing scientific big earth data, which is periodically integrated with terrestrial, aquatic, and hydrological data, it has the potential to assess degraded land as outlined in SDG’s target point 15.3.1 (Yuono et al. in J Ecol Eng 21:126–130, 2020). The Rawas sub-watershed is a river drainage area that originates at one of the peaks of Mount Kerinci. Geologically, the Rawas sub-watershed includes lowlands which are quarterly alluvial deposits from the Pleistocene to the present age. The availability of water in the Rawas watershed until 2020 is sufficient to serve the villages in the watershed. With the most significant water resource potential in November, December, and January to March, approximately 52 mm/month. Meanwhile, in other months, water availability in the Rawas watershed is below 3 mm/month and even close to 0 mm/month. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
