To determine the quality of beef, it is usually seen using a flashlight and matching it with a predetermined color standard. However, this method is time consuming and the results are inconsistent due to human visual limitations. This study aims to identify the freshness of beef based on its color characteristics using feature extraction method with HSV and LDA method for identification. The identification process begins with the transformation process from RGB images to L*a*b, then image segmentation serves to separate one object from another and image identification uses the LDA method with feature extraction using HSV. The use of color feature extraction with the HSV algorithm to assist in obtaining information from the colors contained in the image for easy identification. Furthermore, the LDA algorithm has a function to obtain the maximum projection to obtain a smaller dimensional space so that the desired patterns can be separated through the boundary line of a linear equation so as to form a certain class or group. Based on the test results using the confusion matrix, it produces a precision value of 80%, recall of 84%, and accuracy of 82%.

The amount of heat transferred within a building defines its level of comfort. The data’s conformance to the SNI (Indonesian National Standard) thermal comfort zone can be utilized as a reference for the outside air temperature data’s features. This study aims to provide an overview of the idiosyncrasies associated with data on outside air temperature in the Ternate region. Daily, weekly, and monthly intervals of 30 minutes are used to group the data. Additionally, the mean value, standard deviation, data volume, maximum value, and minimum air temperature value are tabulated. The graphic illustration comprises a polynomial equation line generated from the average value and the data correlation coefficient value of the resulting equation (R). The data illustrate the characteristics of air temperature in 2021, with April having the highest maximum and January having the lowest minimum.

Education about health sciences has historically been limited in the curriculum of health professionals and largely inaccessible to the public. In practice, most of the health science education is still running conventionally. Supposedly with the advancement of technology and the use of the internet everywhere, learning such as e-learning can be important, especially in the health sector. Until this research was conducted, only 514 academic documents about e-learning in health sciences were found for 20 years from 2001 to 2020, obtained in searching on the Scopus database. This study presents a comprehensive overview of studies related to E-learning in the Health Sciences sector. This study uses bibliometric analysis and indexed digital methods to map scientific publications throughout the world. This research employs the Scopus database to gather information, as well as the Scopus online analysis tool and Vosviewer to show the bibliometric network. The method consists with five stages: determining search keywords, initial search results, refinement of search results, initial compilation, and data analysis. Among the most published and indexed articles by Scopus, papers published by researchers in the United States have the highest number of publications (80), followed by United Kingdom (63) and Australia with 45 academic publications. The processed data shows the pattern and trend of increasing the number of international publications in E-learning in Health Sciences field, which Scopus index.

The development of telematics technology is increasing rapidly and this capability is supported by multimedia devices or even telematics that supports the development of multimedia itself. For instance, in the configuration of telematics with websites to control air traffic with a voice communication system, multimedia applications serve as devices for monitoring the use of this technology. Consider the research trends, this study aims to evaluate the current development and trends of research on telematics and its multimedia applications through bibliometric analysis over the last two decades and a half (1999–2023). Several publication characteristics were analyzed, including the most cited articles in this field. This study uses data from the Scopus database to evaluate the productivity, impact, countries, research institutions, authors, and research performance of journals based on the impact factor, citation counts, and h-index. According to the result, the annual number of publications on this topic fluctuates but tends to increase, with Germany being the most prolific country producing articles in this field. Additionally, the most researched telematics and its multimedia applications and most cited lists offer insight into the future. This is the first study to use bibliometric analysis to evaluate research on telematics and its multimedia applications and is expected to be useful for telematics researchers by identifying potential research directions. In addition, this research serves as a valuable resource for future researchers and practitioners. However, improvements can be made by incorporating additional analysis, such as content analysis.

This study aimed to 1) investigate the concepts of an android-based instrument for assessing performance in Hot Stone Spa course and 2) assess the feasibility of the instrument. This study was conducted based on the ADDIE design (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The feasibility test was carried out by means of questionnaires distributed to experts at educational evaluation, teaching materials, and media. Moreover, another questionnaire was filled out by lecturers and students (users). The subject of this study was Cosmetology students taking the Asian SPA course. The results of this study show that the product feasibility percentage is 88.49, so it is assumed that an android-based assessment instrument is highly feasible to use.

Soil water balance is an essential element to consider for management of agricultural land use as well as in the study of agricultural droughts. Consequently, it is important to evaluate the water consumption of a crop in each of its phenological phases and the status of water reserves during critical hydrologic periods. The aim of this study was to develop an agricultural drought index conceptualiced with a water balance model considering the vegetation stress caused by soil moisture deficit. This proposed index was call: Standardized Soil Moisture Deficit Index (SMODI), which uses meteorological information, soil moisture from SMOS satellite, hydrophysical properties of the soil and crop evapotranspiration. Information from 61 weather stations located in the dry zone of Tolima was used for estimating the water balance. SMODI was compared with the most common drought indexes: Standardized Precipitation - Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI), the Palmer Self-Calibrated Drought Index (scPDSI), and other eleven macroclimatic indices. Pearsońs (r) and Spearmańs (r s) correlation coefficients, Tukey's test, and analysis of variance were appied to analyze the degree of association between SMODI and the contrasting indexeses on a quarterly basis. The proposed approach considers fundamental factors influencing soil moisture distribution and retention but also considers the water stress thresholds that plants have evolved to withstand during drought periods. When these thresholds are surpassed, they represent a water risk for plant health. Consequently, this integrated approach enhances the assessment of agricultural drought by relying on pertinent physical processes. This approach has empowered SMODI to identify extremely dry, severe, and moderate drought conditions in areas characterized by Entisols, Inceptisols, and Andisols, where rice and fruit crops and pasturelands are cultivated.
