The problem of an autonomous agent moving on a planar surface, such as an aerial drone or a small naval vessel can be treated as navigation between a series of points. While nominally the movement between each pair of points can be treated as a 1D projection of the movement on the vector connecting the two points, in the presence of arbitrary constant disturbance the full problem on a plane must be considered. The minimum-time optimal solution is now dependent on the value and direction of the disturbance, which naturally affects the completion of the movement task. In this work, we address the problem of minimum time movement on a 2D plane with quadratic drag, under norm state (velocity), and norm control (acceleration) constraints. The structure and properties of the optimal solution of this nonlinear problem are found and analyzed. The Pontryagin Maximum Principle (PMP) with control and state constraints is utilized. Simulations encouraging the results are presented and compared with those of the academic open-source optimal control solver Falcon.m.

Concrete is the most popular material construction which can be applied in broad construction projects. In addition, concrete is also featured with robust strength, durability, reflectivity, and versatility. However, concrete is prone to rupture that results in decreasing life span and its quality, so it requires additional cost for repair toward its damage. Self-healing concrete is one of the innovations developed by researchers to solve the cracks in concrete allowing the concrete to recover the cracks through the healing process. A self-healing concrete has more superior mechanical properties compared with normal concrete. Self-healing mechanisms can be divided into two types: autogenic and autonomic self-healing. Autogenic self-healing takes advantage of the formation of calcium carbonate crystals from unhydrated cement or mineral particles. Meanwhile, autonomic self-healing uses a healing agent capsulized into microvascular, microencapsulation, and pallets. Researchers applied self-healing concrete on a macro-scale, such as in panel walls, roof slabs, and river floodgates. This paper uses the literature review method to collect the data about self-healing concrete. This study aims to discuss self-healing concrete, its mechanical properties, durability, and analysis of the use of self-healing concrete from multi-perspective disciplines including economy, health and environment, construction, and public policy in Asia’s countries.

This research is an approach to intelligent vehicles with a LoRa communication system, LoRaWAN compatible for Long-Range and Outdoor Communication, but in this paper, we will test the ability of LoRa to handle autonomous vehicles, a Blind-Adaptive Data method will be tried on vehicles systems. The system offered is when the vehicle is running, the sensor will send position data in real-time, the number of vehicles is four, and GPS data is sent alternately using the Blind Adaptive Data Rate principle to avoid data collisions, and when the GPS shows a certain position, the value of SF is ascertained, which affects the data rate and ToA, and the output given is RSSI on each car, speed of a car, power consumption of sensor nodes, signal power, SNR, Bit rate or data rate, and sensitivity. With the Blind ADR principle, it is ensured that there is no data collision between car position data that causes packet loss.

Asset management at Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta needs to be supported by a good audit system in order to maintain assets in a reliable condition, especially for buildings. The building reliability audit was carried out in terms of four criteria including safety, health, comfort, and ease (Keselamatan, Kesehatan, Kenyamanan, dan Kemudahan/4K). Similarly, the allocation of funds needed to fulfill these criteria throughout the life of the building was significant. This study aimed to analyze the reliability of the building, the level of comfort and the cost of building maintenance at Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta by considering the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) for the next 20 years with interest rate (i) 6%. The reliability of the building was viewed from the aspects of architecture, structure, utility and fire protection, accessibility, and layout of the building and the environment. The object of research was the 5-story Students' Dormitory Building D at UNS which was built in 2012. The results of the building reliability audit indicated the number of 87.11 (less reliable). Life Cycle Cost analysis resulted in a total cost of IDR 35,488,655,540, - with other costs consisting of Energy cost of IDR 2,084,418.740. Operation & Maintenance cost of IDR 4,295,920,818, -, and Replacement cost of IDR 1,793,880,632, -. In terms of comfort, it indicated the number of 78.99 (less reliable).
