The Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is widely utilized for accurate *** commonly applied method to obtain precise coordinate estimates is by implementing the relative positioning in network ***,this approach can be complex and ***,The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) offers freely available satellite orbit and clock correction products called Multi-GNSS Advanced Demonstration Tool for Orbit and Clock Analysis (MADOCA),which can enhance positioning accuracy through the precise point positioning (PPP) *** study focuses on evaluating PPP static mode positioning using MADOCA products and comparing the results with the highly precise relative positioning *** analyzing a network of 20 GNSS stations in Indonesia,we found that the PPP method using MADOCA products provided favorable positioning *** median discrepancies and the corresponding median absolute deviation (MAD) for easting,northing,and up components were estimated as 9±18 mm,10±9 mm,and 3±40 mm,*** results indicate that PPP with MADOCA products can be a reliable alternative for establishing Indonesia's horizontal control networks,particularly for orders 0,1,2,and 3,and for a broad spectrum of geoscience monitoring ***,considerations such as epoch transformations and seismic activities should be taken into account for accurate positioning applications that comply with the definition of the national reference framework.

The quality of asphalt concrete that meets technical specifications as an asphalt pavement construction material is the main consideration for an engineer, so that the design life of the road can be achieved. Currently, the use of modified type II PG70 asphalt mixture is considered to be a relevant choice for road conditions in areas with a tropical climate, especially in hot temperature areas. Asphalt concrete is a construction material that has flexible behavior during traffic loads. One of the behaviors in question is the resilient modulus (Mr), the selection of aggregate gradations and the type of asphalt that meets certain requirements which greatly affects the quality of asphalt concrete. Method is using static loading with the Marshall test tool. The value of the modulus of elasticity can be measured with the Marshall parameter. The maximum resilience modulus value for the asphalt concrete mixture AC–WC = 67,678 Mpa and AC–BC = 72,732 Mpa. The application of the Marshall test is still feasible to use in determining the resilient modulus, although there are other, more detailed methods in finding the resilient modulus of a material. The resilient modulus analysis carried out by the author aims to determine the value of the resilience modulus (Mr) on the AC–WC and AC–BC pavement layers as an evaluation of the results of the design planning (Detail engineering Design) of road pavements. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The objective of this research is to design and develop an integrated landslide early detection system at Tower Number Eight, 150 kV Gianyar. The research is expected to result in the construction of a communication system based on LoRa technology that will serve to reduce the potential damage from landslides. In order to achieve this, several parameters must be considered as benchmarks. These include RSSI, SNR, BER and PDR. The device operates by monitoring changes in position, soil moisture and rainfall, and then transmitting the data via LoRa technology. At the sink, the data is recorded and monitored for RSSI, SNR, PDR and BER values. In the test, the source 1 node, situated 300 metres away, exhibited an RSSI value of -100 to -109 dBm and an SNR value of 6.75 to -6.7 in both sunny and rainy weather, with a PDR value of 100%. The source 2 node, situated 600 metres away, exhibited an RSSI value of -97 to -109 dBm and an SNR value of 8.5 to -11.75 dB, with a PDR value of 70 to 100%. It should be noted that the number of bits in the sensor data sent is always complete. This is evidenced by the bit error ratio (BER) value, which is always 0 on both source nodes. © 2024 IEEE.

Waste is a problem in almost every region, especially related to how the processing of waste can be converted into other forms as a form of energy that can be utilized, one of which is waste processing by pyrolysis is one of the technologies to convert waste into useful energy or fuel. At this time waste processing requires waste processing machines ranging from organic and un-organic waste shredding machines, briquette processing machines, pellets, using star-delta 3-phase motors, generally still conventional/manually. Current research, the author began to develop a waste and flue gas particle handling machine, a non-incinerator pyrolysis machine with the wet method, a high efficiency cyclone system which originally used a machine manually/ conventionally, replaced with a Delta series Star - Delta series with interlock and interface) automatically. Garbage processing The machine in addition to aiming to reduce waste waste, the machine must be made automatically and friendly to the operator who runs it. © 2023 IEEE.

Concrete properties change when it is exposed to high temperature. Fire can reduce the strength and the stiffness of the concrete. Another visible thing is the change in the color of the concrete. Furthermore, a decrease in the alkaline degree of concrete can also occur at high temperatures. This study combines quantifying the value of the color change, quantifying the alkaline level, and evaluating the residual strength of post-fire concrete. Two concrete grades were prepared: 25 and 45 MPa and exposed to a high temperature of 300 and 700 ℃. The amount of 1.8, 2 and 2.5 kg/m3 of polypropylene fiber were added to the concrete. According to the temperature rise analysis, the farther the position from the concrete surface causes a decrease in temperature. The 2.5 kg/m3 fiber content shows more excellent post-fire mechanical performance because it provides the pores needed by concrete when water vapor pressure occurs due to high temperature;therefore, cracks in the cement paste can be avoided. Visually, the color change between grade 25 and 45 MPa are the same in each temperature;however, they have different coordinates as observed by the color test. Furthermore, the addition of 2.5 kg/m3 fiber to the concrete contributes a superior effect to prevent the decrease of the alkaline level during the fire. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Distribution of PM_(0.1),PM_(1) and PM_(2.5) particle-and gas-polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)during the 2019 normal,partial and strong haze periods at a background location in southern Thailand were investigated to understand the behaviors and carcinogenic ***1 was the predominant component,during partial and strong haze periods,accounting for 45.1% and 52.9% of total suspended particulate matter,respectively,while during normal period the contribution was only 34.0%.PM_(0.1) concentrations,during the strong haze period,were approximately 2 times higher than those during the normal *** increased levels of particle-PAHs for PM_(0.1),PM_(1) and PM_(2.5) were observed during strong haze period,about 3,5 and 6 times higher than those during normal ***-PAH concentrations were 10 to 36 times higher than those of particle-PAHs for PM_(2.5).Average total Benzo[a]Pyrene Toxic Equivalency Quotients(BaP-TEQ)in PM_(0.1),PM_(1) and PM_(2.5) during haze periodswere about 2–6 times higher than in the normal *** total accumulated Incremental Lifetime Cancer Risks(ILCRs)in PM_(0.1),PM_(1) and PM_(2.5) for all the age-specific groups during the haze effected scenario were approximately 1.5 times higher than those in nonhaze scenario,indicating a higher potential carcinogenic *** observations suggest PM_(0.1),PM_(1) and PM_(2.5) were the significant sources of carcinogenic aerosols and were significantly affected by transboundary haze from peatland *** leads to an increase in the volume of smoke aerosol,exerting a significant impact on air quality in southern Thailand,as well as many other countries in lower southeast Asia.

Microbially induced calcite precipitation (MICP) is an emerging geotechnical improvement technology that has received wide attention from researchers around the world. The applications of MICP in geotechnical field including soil improvement, surface resistance from erosion, coastal protection, and slope stabilization have been investigated by previous researchers. This paper presents a review on application of MICP for slope stabilization. Three subtopics were selected to be discussed: application of native bacteria, modified MICP methods, and field-scale studies. This review reveals that (1) MICP has the potential for slope stabilization;(2) native bacteria are ideal for use in MICP for application in slopes located in regions with variable cold climatic conditions;(3) to improve the effectiveness of MICP for slope stability, traditional MICP needs be modified;(4) MICP appears to have the potential to be one of the future landslide mitigation strategies since it works effectively in the field-scale test. Additionally, the recommended further researches in MICP for slope stabilization are: (1) study on the other types of native bacteria for diverse environmental condition is required;(2) to discover the best slope stabilization method, the combination of MICP and other traditional slope stabilization techniques should be investigated;(3) it is critical to investigate the effectiveness of the MICP technology for slope stabilization under various conditions in the field. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Metaheuristics are widely used in various fields due to their ability to solve complicated optimization problems. In acoustics, it is possible to apply metaheuristics to determine the optimal values of coefficients in empirical models of acoustic impedance. In this paper, different metaheuristic approaches (i.e. gray wolf optimization algorithm, marine predator algorithm, beluga whale optimization, sand cat swarm optimization) are presented for solving the above problem. They are based on different biological phenomena and with these methods no experience is required in determining the initial values of the variables as it is possible to set a wide range for the initial values of the variables. The applied methods provide a satisfactory prediction of the sound absorption coefficient of open-cell polyurethane foam, compared to the experimental results obtained in an impedance tube. The paper provides a comparative analysis of recent metaheuristics: gray wolf optimization algorithm, beluga whale optimization algorithm, marine predator algorithm and sand cat algorithm. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

The Langat River Basin in Malaysia is vulnerable to soil erosion risks because of its exposure to intensive land use activities and its topography,which primarily consists of steep slopes and mountainous ***,climate change frequently exposes this basin to drought,which negatively affects soil and water ***,recent studies have rarely shown how soil reacts to drought,such as soil ***,the purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between drought and soil erosion in the Langat River *** analyzed drought indices using Landsat 8 satellite images in November 2021,and created the normalized differential water index(NDWI)via Landsat 8 data to produce a drought *** used the revised universal soil loss equation(RUSLE)model to predict soil *** verified an association between the NDWI and soil erosion data using a correlation *** results revealed that the southern and northern regions of the study area experienced drought *** predicted an average annual soil erosion of approximately 58.11 t/(hm^(2)·a).Analysis of the association between the NDWI and soil erosion revealed a strong positive correlation,with a Pearson correlation coefficient of *** assumed that the slope length and steepness factor was the primary contributor to soil erosion in the study *** a result,these findings can help authorities plan effective measures to reduce the impacts of drought and soil erosion in the future.

Infrastructure development aims to improve services and accessibility. In terms of realizing the ideals of independence, infrastructure development for economic growth is a must. The government increased the infrastructure budget in the 2020 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget or RAPBN by 4.9%. To achieve this economic growth scenario, we need quality human resources, thus contributing to Indonesia's competitiveness in the 4.0 industrial era. Reliable, competent, and quality resources to compete will also encourage the growth of business entities in all areas, including consulting firms. The term competitiveness comes from the word power which means strength, and the word competitiveness which means to achieve more than others, or differ from others in terms of quality, or have certain advantages. The determinants of competitiveness are determined by factor conditions, demand conditions, relevant supporting industries, and company strategy & competitive structure. In this study, a literature review methodology is used to see what competitiveness factors are needed by a consulting firm to sustain the sustainability of getting a project every year. The results of this study obtain 13 competitiveness factors and two determinant factors that impact the sustainability of consulting companies validated by an expert. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
