The framework of the peanut shelling machine functions as a supporting structure for the components of the peanut shelling machine, namely the top funnel, funnel retaining frame, the lid on the peeler shaft, pulley, sieve shaft, sieve, engine body. Frame material is mild steel equal leg angles size 45 x 45 x 5, yield strength is 3,002E + 04 psi and tensile strength is 5.004E + 04 psi. Skeletal strength analysis was carried out using the autodesk inventor professional 2015 software. The engine frame was given axial loading of 500 N, 600 N, 700 N, 800 N, 900 N, and 1000 N. The analysis results of the maximum stress occur at 1000 N loading, amount to 16.85 Mpy, and the maximum deformation occurs at 1000 N loading, amounting to 0.07727 mm.

We present a new algorithm for the computation of polyhedral positive invariant sets. A set given by its half-spaces is used to yield an optimized positive invariant set w.r.t. a given autonomous system. The algorithm requires the solution of a single semi-definite program followed by a linear program. Extensions to the plant uncertain case, and to a symmetric set case are presented. Two numerical examples demonstrate the algorithm usage and capabilities.

The economic growth of a country will be greatly influenced by road and bridge infrastructure that serves as a connecting flow of goods and human transportation. There are still some road and bridge construction projects in Indonesia that show the occurrence of accidents because lack of awareness by the management of the adverse effects of safety. Therefore, the author tries to find solutions to the improvement measures in minimizing the occurrence of occupational accidents by providing safety knowledge to the Project Managers and related staff, to be more concerned about the safety and the environment around the project. Based on data collected from the Ministry of Public Works and Indonesian People's Housing, there are several work accidents in toll road projects in Indonesia from August 2017 to February 2018. When viewed from several of these accidents, it can be concluded that the main cause is the lack of knowledge of the management staff about the need to enforce safety regulations, especially in the work of lifting object to the upper structure. Therefore, a commitment is needed to implement serious occupational safety regulations from all stakeholders who play a role in developing this infrastructure project.

Ambient noise analysis of horizontal to vertical spectral ratio (HVSR) method has been used widely to provide reliable estimates of the site fundamental frequency and to constrain the inversion of near-surface shear wave velocity. The present paper focuses on the site measurement using the aforementioned analysis by means of the HVSR method for characterizing sub-surface dynamic parameters in the City of Banda Aceh, Indonesia. A Guralp CMG-6TD broadband seismometer was used in this study to cover a wide frequency range from 0.033 Hz to 50 Hz in standard operation. The instrument was deployed at two different sites (i.e. Location#1 of Blang Padang and Location#2 of Stadion Dirmutala) in the City of Banda Aceh for at least 2 hours for ambient noise recording. This continuous of 2 hours' microtremor time series was separated into 30 minutes record from which the site fundamental frequency and shear wave velocity of the measured site were deduced. The later sub-surface dynamic parameter was validated using another technique of reflection seismic. This investigation suggests the fundamental frequency of 0.45 Hz at Location#1 and of 0.65 Hz at Location#2. The estimated shear wave velocity of the top 30 m, Vs,30 of this investigation is 165 m/s at Location#1 and 156 m/s at Location#2. Both the site fundamental frequency and shear wave velocity are important for infrastructure design in the high seismic region of Banda Aceh, Indonesia.

Liquid waste with a high amount of total suspended solids (TSS) is one of the significant environmental issues from coal mining activities in Kalimantan island under high precipitation in of an extensive zone of coverage. The TSS concentration with Nano-sized particle in mine drainage is caused by clay minerals which are dominated by montmorillonite type. Therefore, a vast chemical agent is usually used to treat TSS concentrations of liquid waste less than 300 mg/L based on government regulation. However, in this case, the chemical flocculant triggers the onset of secondary pollutant because of carcinogenic and non-biodegradable conditions. This study aims to observe specific fungi, Marasmius sp, as bio-flocculant for the treatment of mine drainage with extra high TSS. The fungi can produce a biodegradable polymer that precipitate the montmorillonite with two-mode action, namely bio-flocculant polymerization and mycelial trapping. A role model was performed in a laboratory-scale less than 1 L in several graduated/measuring cylinders under 22-30 °C. The results of clarity and flocculation rate tests indicated that the minerals in the mine drainage samples from *** mining excavation area, had been precipitated rapidly. The clarity test by using spectrophotometer indicated that eighty six percent (86%) clarity value averagely in one-hour treatment, while the TSS concentration amount decreased down to 110.1 mg/L from original measured at 11,000 mg/L based on the flocculation rate test.

This research aimed to develop competency factors for Good Governance in Government Procurement. The research adopted structural relationship models and is descriptive in nature. The research sample was drawn from 353 government sectors. The research tool was an expert questionnaire which had content validity and reliability of 0.986. The data was statistically analyzed by 1) exploratory factor analysis and 2) second-order confirmatory factor analysis. The research found that the model for the Good Governance in Government Procurement had high construct validity by both exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The model composed of 1 factor and 14 sub-factors from 15 selected variables.

To achieve more effective teaching and learning in undergraduate engineering education, professional development needs to promote change toward innovation of use of evidence-based instructional strategies (EBIS) in faculty beliefs and practice as well as change in organizational attitudes and norms. To develop an effective program, a strategy for change needs to be utilized and assessed at the individual level and the organizational level. Rogers Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) is an individual change model which consists of five steps of a progression towards any type of adoption of innovation change such as sports, business or teaching. The steps for adoption of change consist of awareness, interest, evaluation, trial, and adoption. Coburn's organizational innovation (COI) change model for organizations consists of four components necessary to support broader change in an educational organization, which include the following. Depth is deep change in faculty beliefs and practice. Sustainability of Innovation refers to flexibility of innovation in differing contexts or disciplines. Spread of Innovation refers to change in beliefs, norms, and principles of individuals across an organization. Shift of Ownership refers to shift in ownership from external facilitators to internal ownership by individuals and their organization. These change theories have been used to develop and assess a large scale NSF IUSE project at a large southwestern university called Just-in-Time-Teaching with Two Way Formative Feedback for Multiple Disciplines (JTFD). The first year of the project has trained 43 faculty in four disciplines using a train-the-trainer model with one semester of 8 biweekly workshops followed by a second semester of 6 disciplinary community of practice (CoP) discussion sessions. Assessment of elements of the two change theories was done with pre-post measurements of participants with surveys, questions and classroom observations. For the DOI model, Awareness of evidenc
