Automatic object detection by satellite remote sensing images is of great significance for resource exploration and natural disaster assessment. To solve existing problems in remote sensing image detection, this article proposes an improved YOLOX model for satellite remote sensing image automatic detection. This model is named RS‐YOLOX. To strengthen the feature learning ability of the network, we used Efficient Channel Attention (ECA) in the backbone network of YOLOX and combined the Adaptively Spatial Feature Fusion (ASFF) with the neck network of YOLOX. To balance the numbers of positive and negative samples in training, we used the Varifocal Loss function. Finally, to obtain a high‐performance remote sensing object detector, we combined the trained model with an open‐source framework called Slicing Aided Hyper Inference (SAHI). This work evaluated models on three aerial remote sensing datasets (DOTA‐v1.5, TGRS‐HRRSD, and RSOD). Our comparative experiments demonstrate that our model has the highest accuracy in detecting objects in remote sensing image datasets. © 2025, CC BY-NC-ND.

Crowdsensing has become a popular method of sensing data collection while facing the problem of protecting participants' location privacy. Existing location-privacy crowdsensing mechanisms focus on static tasks and participants without considering sensing tasks' time requirements and participants' mobility, which cannot achieve satisfactory collected data quality and task completion in crowdsensing with dynamic tasks and participants. Inspired by this, we proposed a location-preservation crowdsensing mechanism, FedSense, considering dynamic tasks and participants based on federated learning (FL) and reinforcement learning (RL). In FedSense, through RL's outstanding decision-making ability, participants select sensing tasks to perform by well-trained RL models without uploading location information to servers for task allocation. We propose an independent tasks selection environment that defines actions, states, and rewards of RL to enable FedSense to achieve satisfactory task completion and data quality while preserving location privacy. Besides, FedSense applies an asynchronous FL aggregation algorithm that reduces participants' network stabilization and device computing ability requirements. Analysis proves that participants' location information does not leave the local device during the model training and task selection process, effectively avoiding privacy leakage. Simulation shows that compared with existing location-preservation crowdsensing mechanisms, FedSense achieves the highest task completion and sensing accuracy for dynamic tasks and participants. © 2024 IEEE.

In Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV)-assisted Mobile Edge computing (MEC) networks, the security of transmission faces significant challenges due to the vulnerabilities of line-of-sight links and potential eavesdropping on two-hop links. This paper addresses these challenges with an innovative Cooperative Secure Transmission and Computation strategy (CSTC), specifically engineered for time-slotted UAV-assisted MEC networks plagued by mobile collusive eavesdroppers. These eavesdroppers significantly bolster their interception capabilities through coordinated and optimized movements, escalating the security threats. To neutralize these risks, the proposed CSTC employs the UAV and remote devices as helper nodes to emit jamming signals, thereby thwarting eavesdropping activities, while simultaneously facilitating the efficient relay of users’ tasks to the base station for advanced processing. The CSTC aims to maximize the sum Secrecy Transmission Rate (STR) satisfying task latency constraints. It involves a joint optimization of UAV trajectory, jamming beamformers, transmit power, and data offloading strategy to expedite task transmission. Additionally, a real-time computation scheduling approach is developed based on a newly defined metric, the Urgency Degree of Users (UDoU), to enhance task processing efficiency. Our extensive simulations validate that the CSTC not only elevates the sum STR but also consistently meets latency constraints, demonstrating its robustness against advanced mobile eavesdropping techniques. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

Quantum Direct Steganography Scheme Based on Modified Generator Projection Directions of Steane Code over a Single-Type Pauli Channel

In quantum mechanics, measurements of a quantum state in various directions yield distinct outcomes, a principle that forms the foundation of quantum communication theory. This paper expands upon this concept by introducing a method to modify generator projection directions (MGPD) within quantum stabilizer codes. Employing the Steane code ((7, 1, 3) code), as a fundamental carrier, we develop a novel scheme for direct quantum steganography across a single-type Pauli channel. The infeasibility of eavesdropping decoding under MGPD is proven. We detail the steganographic encoding and decoding schemes, corresponding quantum circuits, and eavesdropping detection principles. We also use a’Sudoku’-style strategy to balance steganographic error probabilities and provide the complete steganography protocol. Relative to existing studies, the MGPD method achieves embedding rates approaching and attaining the upper limit of the information capacity for the (n, k, d) = (7, 1, 3) code within a noise probability range of approximately 1/(n + 1) = 12.5%. It also reduces the consumption of auxiliary keys from O(log (N)) to O(1), while enabling eavesdropping detection and steganography of arbitrary quantum states. We investigate its potential applications in quantum communication and assess its benefits in the context of secret information transmission and eavesdropping detection in noisy channels. Although the MGPD method incorporates certain idealized assumptions and limitations, it provides novel perspectives on the concealment of quantum information. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. With the proliferation of data-intensive industrial applications, the collaboration of computing powers among standalone edge servers is vital to provision such services for smart devices. In this paper, we propose an edge-driven industrial computing power network (CPN) by orchestrating the computing and network resources of edge servers through the centralized resource scheduling and decentralized task computing. However, efficient task offloading and collaborative processing is challenging, which requires higher degrees of network automation and intelligence. Therefore, we incorporate digital twins (DTs) into the edge-driven CPN architecture, where the DTs are created as the digital replicas to assist both the computation offloading and collaborative processing. A joint optimization problem of the computing power assignment, service association, task partition, and transmit power control is formulated for maximizing the system average weighted utility. Due to the temporal-spatial variability of tasks and the resulted dynamic environment, we transform the original problem as a Markov decision process aiming at maximizing the long-term average weighted utility. To efficiently handle the high-dimensional discrete-continuous action space, a hybrid soft actor-critic based deep reinforcement learning algorithm is developed for optimizing the joint design. Simulation results validate the superiority of our proposed algorithm over the benchmarks, showing the significant gains obtained by integrating DTs into the edge-driven CPN. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

The computational inefficiency of spiking neural networks (SNNs) is primarily due to the sequential updates of membrane potential, which becomes more pronounced during extended encoding periods compared to artificial neural networks (ANNs). This highlights the need to parallelize SNN computations effectively to leverage available hardware parallelism. To address this, we propose Membrane Potential Estimation Parallel Spiking Neurons (MPE-PSN), a parallel computation method for spiking neurons that enhances computational efficiency by enabling parallel processing while preserving the intrinsic dynamic characteristics of SNNs. Our approach exhibits promise for enhancing computational efficiency, particularly under conditions of elevated neuron density. Empirical experiments demonstrate that our method achieves state-of-the-art (SOTA) accuracy and efficiency on neuromorphic datasets. Codes are available at https://***/chrazqee/MPE-PSN.

MixSA: Training-free Reference-based Sketch Extraction via Mixture-of-Self-Attention

Current sketch extraction methods either require extensive training or fail to capture a wide range of artistic styles, limiting their practical applicability and versatility. We introduce Mixture-of-Self-Attention (MixSA), a training-free sketch extraction method that leverages strong diffusion priors for enhanced sketch perception. At its core, MixSA employs a mixture-of-self-attention technique, which manipulates self-attention layers by substituting the keys and values with those from reference sketches. This allows for the seamless integration of brushstroke elements into initial outline images, offering precise control over texture density and enabling interpolation between styles to create novel, unseen styles. By aligning brushstroke styles with the texture and contours of colored images, particularly in late decoder layers handling local textures, MixSA addresses the common issue of color averaging by adjusting initial outlines. Evaluated with various perceptual metrics, MixSA demonstrates superior performance in sketch quality, flexibility, and applicability. This approach not only overcomes the limitations of existing methods but also empowers users to generate diverse, high-fidelity sketches that more accurately reflect a wide range of artistic expressions. In cloud computing, users need to authenticate to access various resources. Attribute-based anonymous credentials (ABCs) provide a tool for privacy-preserving authentication, allowing users to prove possession of a set of attributes to cloud service providers anonymously. Most existing works on ABC deal with credentials on attributes issued by a single authority (issuer). In reality, it is more practical for users to obtain credentials on attributes from multiple authorities. There are a few works on multi-authority ABC, which do not support delegation needed in real deployments. In this paper, we present the first delegatable multi-authority attribute-based anonymous credential system, which simultaneously achieves revocation and traceability. We also give the security analysis of our construction. Finally, we implement our system, and the experimental results show its efficiency. © 2013 IEEE.

Zero-Shot Cross-Domain Code Search without Fine-Tuning

Code search is a crucial task in software engineering, aiming to retrieve code snippets that are semantically relevant to a natural language query. Recently, Pre-trained Language Models (PLMs) have shown remarkable success and are widely adopted for code search tasks. However, PLM-based methods often struggle in cross-domain scenarios. When applied to a new domain, they typically require extensive fine-tuning with substantial data. Even worse, the data scarcity problem in new domains often forces these methods to operate in a zero-shot setting, resulting in a significant decline in performance. RAPID, which generates synthetic data for model fine-tuning, is currently the only effective method for zero-shot cross-domain code search. Despite its effectiveness, RAPID demands substantial computational resources for fine-tuning and needs to maintain specialized models for each domain, underscoring the need for a zero-shot, fine-tuning-free approach for cross-domain code search. The key to tackling zero-shot cross-domain code search lies in bridging the gaps among domains. In this work, we propose to break the query-code matching process of code search into two simpler tasks: query-comment matching and code-code matching. We first conduct an empirical study to investigate the effectiveness of these two matching schemas in zero-shot cross-domain code search. Our findings highlight the strong complementarity among the three matching schemas, i.e., query-code, query-comment, and code-code matching. Based on the findings, we propose CodeBridge, a zero-shot, fine-tuning-free approach for cross-domain code search. Specifically, CodeBridge first employs zero-shot prompting to guide Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate a comment for each code snippet in the codebase and produce a code for each query. Subsequently, it encodes queries, code snippets, comments, and the generated code using PLMs and assesses similarities through three matching schemas: query-code, query-comment,
