There are plenty of issues need to be solved before the practi-cal application of Li-and Mn-rich cathodes,including the detrimental voltage decay and mediocre rate capability,*** doping can e ectively solve the above problems,but cause the loss of *** introduction of appropriate defects can compensate the capacity loss;however,it will lead to structural mismatch and stress ***,a three-in-one method that combines cation–polyanion co-doping,defect construction,and stress engineering is *** co-doped Na^(+)/SO_(4)^(2-)can stabilize the layer framework and enhance the capacity and voltage *** induced defects would activate more reac-tion sites and promote the electrochemical ***,the unique alternately distributed defect bands and crystal bands structure can alleviate the stress accumulation caused by changes of cell parameters upon ***,the modified sample retains a capacity of 273 mAh g^(-1)with a high-capacity retention of 94.1%after 100 cycles at 0.2 C,and 152 mAh g^(-1)after 1000 cycles at 2 C,the corresponding voltage attenuation is less than 0.907 mV per cycle.

Microstructure, Mechanism and Performance of Tungsten Coating Electrodeposited in Na2wo4–Wo3–Napo3–Y2o3 Molten Salt

In this paper, smooth tungsten coatings with fine grains were prepared by constant direct current electrodeposition in different molten salt. The X–ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and laser scanning confocal microscope were used to characterize the microstructure and micromorphology of tungsten coatings. The micromorphology and surface roughness of tungsten coatings are significantly influenced by the cathodic overpotential. The cathodic overpotential can be modified by the addition of NaPO3 and Y2O3 to influence the coating surface quality. When 3.0 mol% Y2O3 was added to the Na2WO4–WO3–NaPO3 molten salt, the coating has the finest average grains size of 9.86 µm. What’s more, with the Y2O3 concentration increasing, the Ra of the coatings decreases. It is noteworthy that the synergistic addition of NaPO3 and Y2O3 results in superior surface quality. The microhardness and thermal shock resistance of the coatings are improved due to grain refinement. The electroreduction mechanism was explored by electrochemical testing and thermodynamic calculations. The results indicated that the electroreduction of tungsten ions is W(VI)→W(IV)→W, and differences in redox potential and overpotential of tungsten ions in different molten salt were observed by electrochemical tests. © 2022, The Authors. Synthesis of Flower-Like Bi/Bi2o3/Wo3 Tri-Composites and the Visible-Light-Driven Photocatalytic Property

A novel tri-composite Bi/Bi2O3/WO3 product was fabricated via a facile and green hydrothermal-solvothermal method, and the morphology structure was tailored by adjusting the dosage of EDTA. The final three-dimensional (3D) flower-like Bi/Bi2O3/WO3 is in structure with one-dimensional (1D) nanorods surrounded by two-dimensional (2D) nanoflakes and zero-dimensional (0D) Bi spheres dispersed around randomly. Moreover, the growth mechanism of the flower-like Bi/Bi2O3/WO3 was clarified and illustrated, where the functions of organic ethylene glycol and EDTA were considered, and a coordination and epitaxy growth process was proposed. The Bi/Bi2O3/WO3 composite performed highest visible-light photocatalytic activities to organic pollutant methylene blue (MB) of up to 95% degradation rate, and impressive photocatalytic efficiency to methyl orange (MO) in a tri-pollutants system, indicating the application potential in wastewater treatment. The superior photocatalytic performance could mainly contribute to the large proportion of flower-like structure and the synergy effect of the dual-path transfer process of charges, where the Z-scheme structure and localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) phenomenon is involved and discussed. © 2022, The Authors. Preparation of Tungsten Molybdenum Oxide from Secondary Resources by a Facile Heat-Treatment Process and its Superior Selective Adsorption Properties

Tungsten molybdenum oxide was prepared by a facile heat-treatment process using ion exchange resins as the template. The morphology and crystallinity of the product can be controlled via varying the calcination temperature. The products show excellent selective adsorption properties for methylene blue (MB) and rhodamine B (RhB) model dyes with different molecular sizes and charges, especially for MB. The kinetic data show that the product accords with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model, and the adsorption isotherm can be described by Langmuir adsorption isotherm. When the concentration of MB is 100 mg/L, the adsorption capacity of the product for MB can be 833.43 mg/g, which is higher than that reported in many works of literature. Electrostatic adsorption was found to be the main adsorption mechanism. The heat-treatment method was successfully used to obtained tungsten molybdenum oxide from W-Mo alloy scrap. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The impact of cross-border capital flows macro-prudential management policy on bank credit

This study examines the impact of cross-border capital flow-oriented macro-prudential policies (MPPs) on banking credit dynamics through a quasi-natural experiment encompassing 110 countries from 2000 to 2020. The findings reveal that MPPs significantly mitigate banking credit growth, with more pronounced effects during the post-financial-crisis period. These policies act through commodity prices and exchange rate movements by tempering capital inflows, thereby reducing excessive credit expansion and curbing systemic financial risks. The efficacy of MPPs is critically shaped by regulatory frameworks, the degree of economic liberalization, and the concentration dynamics within banking sectors, collectively underscoring the indispensable role of institutional robustness and competitive market mechanisms in policy implementation. Furthermore, the study uncovers an asymmetrical policy impact, with MPPs demonstrating enhanced efficacy in countries characterized by more advanced financial development. These results have significant policy implications, emphasizing the strategic value of targeted macro-prudential measures in three crucial areas: stabilizing credit cycles, enhancing financial system resilience, and preventing the cross-border contagion of financial vulnerabilities.

Social Capital and Energy Poverty: Empirical Evidence from China

Energy poverty is a social problem more complex than an economic problem and exists in both developed and developing countries. Beginning with the measurement of the sustainable energy development index and regional social capital at a macroscale, the multidimensional energy poverty index and household social capital at a microscale, this study investigates the impact of social capital on energy poverty, a topic hitherto neglected in the literature. Both the macro and micro empirical analyses show that social capital has a positive impact on reducing energy poverty and serves as a complementary tool for economic development to reduce energy poverty. The capital deficit and return deficit of social capital were found to coexist in households with higher levels of energy poverty, implying that its effect on reducing energy poverty is more advantageous to the "rich" rather than those with deeper energy poverty. The results of the empirical study are robust to subsample regressions and various measures of energy poverty. Social capital helps to break the bottlenecks in energy requirements that may emerge with income growth, and its development has significant implications for tackling energy poverty. © 2021, The Authors. A novel preparation process of tungsten carbide in molten salt: Carbon internal recycling

This study proposes a novel process for the clean production of tungsten carbide from the perspective of internal recycling of carbon. On the basis of NaCl-KCl-Na 2 WO 4 -Na 2 O molten salts capturing and converting CO 2 , the loss of graphite anode is fixed in the molten salt system. The clean production of nano-tungsten carbide and the internal recycling of carbon were realized. Firstly, the carbon transfer pathway from graphite anode to molten salt to electrolysis products was demonstrated by the characterization of each part of the electrolysis system. Subsequently, the effects of electrolysis voltage, temperature and Na 2 O addition on carbon internal recycling were evaluated. It was found that the increase of Na 2 O addition could effectively reduce the anode CO 2 gas spillage. When 0.9 wt% Na 2 O was added, the amount of unfixed carbon could be reduced to 1.63%. And the WC products with higher purity were obtained at a voltage of 3 V and a temperature of 800 °C. Additionally, the average diffusion coefficient of CO 3 2- (6.91×10 -9 cm 2 s -1 ) was much larger than that of WO 4 2- . It suggests that the first stage of electrolysis has a rapid carbon transfer rate, which provides a prerequisite for the nucleation of WC. The process provides a clean production route for the production of tungsten carbide nanoparticles in a low-carbon and environmentally friendly way.

Since W and Mo are strategic metals in China, the efficient, clean, and value-added utilization of secondary W and Mo resources is important. Ion-exchange methods using resins for the adsorption of Mo after sulfidation can effectively separate W and Mo, but these methods cause sulfide pollution. In this study, the macroporous anion exchange resin D301, which consists of a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer matrix with tertiary amine groups, was modified by ethyl (methylthio) acetate (EA) of molecular formula C 5 H 10 O 2 S to form resin EA-D301. This resin has the following properties: (i) enhanced the efficiency of W and Mo adsorption and separation, (ii) exhibited a dense structure and well-developed pores, (iii) maximum adsorption capacity (Q W ) of 1062 mg/g for W, and (iv) maximum separation factor ( β Mo W ) of 6.95 at pH 7.5 and 25 °C in a W Mo solution with equal metal concentrations of 0.05 mol/L. The adsorption of both W and Mo by EA-D301 was hardly affected by other anions, and Q W remained as high as 908 mg/g after ten adsorption-desorption cycles, indicating good stability. The adsorption mechanism was an ion-exchange reaction followed by coordination reactions. When EA-D301 was used to treat actual W Mo waste alloy leachate, a Q W of 647 mg/g and a β Mo W of 4.03 were achieved, demonstrating good performance in industrial applications. The EA-D301 resin is a promising W adsorbent with advantages such as simple synthesis, high adsorption capacity, and environmental friendliness. This resin provides an effective way to extract W and separate W and Mo from various resources.

China is experiencing accelerated urbanisation,with a large number of people moving from rural to urban areas[1].It has resulted in large losses in the net primary production(NPP),biodiversity and carbon stocks and an increase in environmental pollution and CO_(2)emissions[2–4].In 2015,196 countries signed the Paris Agreement and committed to setting long-term goals to jointly manage climate change and reduce their individual emissions,aiming to control the increase in global average temperature from the pre-industrial level to below 2℃and to curtail the temperature rise within 1.5℃till the end of the 21st century[5].China is bolstering its efforts to achieve the climate change mitigation goals and has announced a plan for achieving carbon neutrality by 2060[6].The carbon neutrality goal poses a challenge to the current policies promoting rapid urbanisation across China.
