Aiming at the problems of lack of stability, poor adaptability, and weak load capacity of existing robots in complex environments. The corresponding adaptation methods are proposed through the analysis of various harsh environments in nature, and statistics are made. On this basis, a new type of metamorphic structure based on metamorphic theory and bionics principle is proposed, and the relevant mechanical structure of the chassis of the metamorphic robot is designed;The mechanical system and motion are designed, optimized, and analyzed by using Solidworks and MATLAB joint simulation platform;The motion planning and kinematics simulation of the bionic metamorphic robot chassis are carried out through ADAMS software;Stress simulation of loaded parts is carried out based on ANSYS. The results show that the design size and motion planning are reasonable and meet the bionic metamorphic robot chassis requirements for working environment and grasping operation. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this paper, a new method to construct neural-network-based hysteresis model is proposed. At first, a new backlash operator is presented so as to construct a basic model. And then, based on the basic model, a two-dimension input space is established so that the one-to-multiple mapping of hysteresis can be transformed into a one-to-one mapping which can be identified by using traditional method of neural networks. Finally, two experiments were implemented to validate the proposed neural hysteresis model. The experimental results demonstrate that the approach is effective.

Anti-Explosion Impulsive Behaviors of the Coal Mine Refuge Chamber's Cabin

The refuge chamber has been widely accepted as a necessary part in the emergency rescue system of the coal mine because they can be conveniently installed and moved in the underground workplace. The refuge chamber's cabin should have an excellent anti-explosion performance to the impulsive load resulted from an explosion, which is necessary for the normal operation of its internal systems. In this paper, by the combination of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and experiments, the anti-explosion performance of KJYF-96/8 type coal mine refuge chamber's cabin was studied. Firstly, according to the working condition, a behavior model characterizing the gas and coal dust explosion was established. Secondly, the anti-explosion performance of the cabin was numerically simulated and then analyzed. Furthermore, the gas and coal dust explosion experiments were carried out in an underground laneway. Based on these works, the variation curve of the equivalent triangular impulsive load wave with the change of time, the maximal stress and deformation of the cabin in explosion, and the damage of the cabin in the actual explosion test were obtained. It is found that the newly-designed KJYF-96/8 type coal mine refuge chamber can meet the anti-explosion requirements. © 2017, Chinese Mechanical engineering Society. All right reserved.

This paper proposes a seismic landslide detection method based on Transformer and RNN algorithm. This method uses seismic data and topographic data as inputs, encodes the data through the Transformer model, and then inputs the encoded data into the RNN model for classification. In the training process, we use the cross entropy loss function and Adam optimizer. To verify the effectiveness of the method, we used public data sets for experiments, and the results show that our proposed method can significantly improve the accuracy of seismic landslide detection. In addition, we interpret the results by visualization method and analyze the performance of the model under different parameters. Our method is expected to provide effective support for earthquake landslide prediction and early warning. © 2023 IEEE.

Magnon density distribution can be affected by the spin-transfer torque in a perpendicular ferromagnetic anisotropy nanowire. We obtain the analytical expression for the critical current condition. For the cases of below and above the critical value, the magnon density distribution admits bright and dark soliton states, respectively. Moreover, we discuss two-soliton collision properties that are modulated by the current. Each magnetic soliton exhibits no changes in both velocity and width before and after the collision.

Poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)pellets are irradiated using 60Co gamma-ray in air and successfully formed by hot pressing at constant *** irradiated PMMA membranes are prepared by supercritical carbon dioxide(scCO2)as a physical blowing agent using the pressure quench *** of foaming conditions such as adsorbed dose,saturation temperature,pressure on the morphology and cell size of the microcellular PMMA membranes are investigated in *** results showed that the irradiated PMMA membranes possess spherically closed-cell structure with uniform cell *** have a high cell density compared with virgin *** cell size uniformity becomes poor at dose lower than 10 kGy,but increases with the dose at dose higher than 10 *** mean cell diameter is less than 10μm and the cell density increases with increasing *** average cell size of irradiated PMMA membranes decreases and cell density increases with increased saturation temperature and *** changes in morphology of membranes are attributed to the gamma-ray radiation and scCO2synergistic effect.

As biomechanics research evolves, the significance of motion capture technology in domains like film and television, gaming, and motion training is progressively gaining prominence, with an expanding repertoire of applications. Optical motion capture, employing optical dynamic capture equipment founded on a 3D imaging analysis system within a specified setting, stands as the most mature technique. However, its high cost and constraints pertaining to venue and environmental factors limit its usage. Conversely, inertial motion capture devices, functional under non-optical conditions, can cater to the needs of the broader public. To further enhance affordability, portability, and simplification of the device, this study proposes an embedded system design grounded on a nine-axis inertial sensor. It captures the posture of each joint in the human upper limb and wirelessly transmits the data to the Unreal Engine 3D arm model for action replication and motion trajectory delineation. Thus, it generates feedback results facilitating remote motion control. © 2023 SPIE.

The relationship between the innate immune signal and the start of the adaptive immune response is the central idea of this theory. By controlling the inflammatory and tissue-repair reactions to damage, the Toll-like receptors (TLRs), as a family of PRRs, have attracted increasing attention for its function in protecting the host against infection and preserving tissue homeostasis. Microbial infection, damage, inflammation, and tissue healing have all been linked to the development of malignancies, especially gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. Recently, increased studies on TLR recognition and binding, as well as their ligands, have significantly advanced our knowledge of the various TLR signaling pathways and offered therapy options for GI malignancies. Upon activation by pathogen-associated or damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs and PAMPs), TLRs trigger key pathways like NF-κB, MAPK, and IRF. NF-κB activation promotes inflammation, cell survival, and proliferation, often contributing to tumor growth, metastasis, and therapy resistance. MAPK pathways similarly drive uncontrolled cell growth and invasion, while IRF pathways modulate interferon production, yielding both anti-tumor and protumor effects. The resulting chronic inflammatory environment within tumors can foster progression, yet TLR activation can also stimulate beneficial anti-tumor immune responses. However, the functions of TLR expression in GI cancers and their diagnostic and prognostic along with therapeutic value have not yet entirely been elucidated. Understanding how TLR activation contributes to anti-cancer immunity against GI malignancies may hasten immunotherapy developments and increase patient survival. © 2025 Elsevier Inc.

Design of high-energy X-ray conversion target based on linear electron accelerator

High-energy X-rays can be employed to inspect fuel elements, even weld seams, cracks, and internal structural deformations of the components due to their density-sensitive characteristics and strong penetration capabilities. The quality of these X-rays is determined by various factors such as the X-ray conversion target, the cooling system for the conversion target, and the filter type, thereby influencing the detection accuracy. This study was conducted using an electron linear accelerator with an energy of 10 MeV and an average current of 150 μA. Firstly, we designed the conversion target material and geometry structure by Monte Carlo method. The results indicate that the optimal target material is tungsten and the optimum shape of the conversion target is a cylinder with dimensions of Φ 40 × 2.2 mm. Second, finite element analysis was applied to design the conversion target cooling system. After 60 min of electron beam irradiation, the local maximum temperature of the conversion target is approximately 1330 °C. Lastly, theoretical analysis and Monte Carlo simulations were used to design the X-ray filters. The result demonstrates that a double-layer filter consisting of 8 mm bismuth and 4 mm iron can increase the proportion of high-energy X-rays by 13.89 ± 0.05 %. Finally, the results of using the attenuation method to measure the X-ray energy spectrum produced by an electron linear accelerator indicate that without a filter 78.81 % of the X-rays are above 1 MeV and with a filter this proportion increases to 80.55 %.
