The tree direct contact line is the fault type that has the greatest impact on the power system in the tree-line contradiction. At present, most of the existing studies are aimed at the monitoring and disposal of tree line faults, but there are few studies on the fire time of tree line faults. Based on the 10kV simulated test line, this paper builds a tree line fault simulation test platform for 10 kV distribution lines. The common tree species under the transmission line in Sichuan are selected as test sample trees. The fire time of different types of trees after tree line failure is studied. The test study obtained the fire time of three kinds of trees under the condition of capacitance current of different lines to the ground. It was found that the fire time is not directly related to the tree and impedance. The main factors affecting the fire time are the thickness of the tree and the size of the capacitance current of the transmission line. The process of tree burning can be divided into 4 stages, namely: arc preheating stage, epidermal carbonization stage, water evaporation stage and branch burning stage, and can correspond to the changing trend of leakage current. The research results can provide technical reference for preventing wildfires caused by transmission line tree line faults.

Voltage transformer as a substation important equipment, assuming the role of measurement, control and protection. Equipment in the operation process is susceptible to temperature and other factors that cause insulation defects, need to carry out regular insulation preventive testing. In this paper, we take 110 kV series-type voltage transformer as the research object, and use four different wiring methods to explore the changes of $\tan \delta$ value and capacitance under different ambient temperatures, insulating oil temperatures, and insulating oil moisture conditions, to verify the applicability and reasonableness of the relevant values in the Regulations, and to provide an effective basis for the series-type voltage transformer to determine the insulation faults of the equipment through the $\tan \delta$ value. The results show that the $\tan \delta$ value increases with the rise of temperature under different wiring methods, while the capacitance is basically unchanged; the end shielding method is the most sensitive to the moisture of insulating oil under different temperature conditions; when the insulation is normal, the conventional inverse wiring is more sensitive to the temperature change; when the insulation is faulty, the conventional positive wiring is more sensitive; to determine whether there are insulation defects of voltage transformers should be measured by the $\tan \delta$ value in lower temperature as the main criterion, and the Kegulations” will be used to determine whether there are insulation defects of the series type voltage transformer through the $\tan \delta$ value. Judgment of whether the voltage transformer insulation defects should be measured at lower temperatures $\tan \delta$ as the main criterion, Kegulations” in the relevant $\tan \delta$ value criterion should be adjusted in a timely manner.

First-Principles Calculations of Phase Transition, Phonon Spectra, Thermodynamic Properties and Elasticity for Puo2 Polymorphs

The first principles are utilized to calculate the phase transition, phonon spectra, thermodynamic properties, and elasticity of PuO2 under varying pressures. Under the compression condition, the anticipated pressure of phase transition from Fm-3m to Pnma is 26.0 GPa, from Pnma to Cmcm is 112.9 GPa, and from Cmcm to I4/mmm phase is 588.0 GPa. And under tensile conditions, the phase transition pressure of anticipating from Fm-3m phase to P42/mnm and Pnnm phase occur at -8.6 GPa and -8.5 GPa. The phonon spectra of these six structures show that all phases are dynamically stable under the selected pressure. Meanwhile, the verification results of the mechanical stability criterion show that Fm-3m, Pnma, Cmcm and I4/mmm of PuO2 are mechanically stable, nevertheless P42/mnm and Pnnm are unstable in high pressure. The thermodynamic properties were then calculated to further research the patterns of variation in the coefficient of thermal expansion, bulk modulus, Gibbs free energy, and heat capacity with temperature, and these were compared with experimental data. © 2024, The Authors. In recent years, wildfires in the corridors of transmission and distribution lines have occurred frequently, posing a serious threat to the stable operation of the power grid. To study the influence of flame cluster number on the leakage current characteristics of gaps in 10 kV lines, experiments were conducted on the discharge characteristics of a 12 cm wire-board gap under different vegetation flame cluster conditions. The variations in leakage current amplitude under different capacitive current conditions were analyzed, clarifying two discharge forms under flaming conditions. The results indicate that the leakage current in single and multiple cluster vegetation flame conditions is inversely correlated with capacitive current and shows a negative correlation with the ash content of vegetation. Under capacitive currents of 1A and 5A, breakdown occurs in the gap under straw flame conditions, attributed to the highest ash and burning particle content in the straw. This demonstrates that temperature is not the primary factor affecting gap breakdown under straw flame conditions, with ash content being dominant. The findings provide technical references for using electrical signals from lines to warn of wildfires beneath and analyze the causes of incidents.

In this research, the closing arc and the bouncing arc are studied with transient MHD model. A transient self-consistent model is established using the dynamic meshing technology. The simulation results show that the ion density decreases significantly with the expansion of the arc column. As a result, the energy flux from the arc to the anode center decreases gradually as a power function. Since the energy flux is very high at the arc ignition, the anode temperature increases significantly at first. Then the maximum anode temperature begins to fall due to the decrease of the maximum energy flux. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, forest fires caused by transmission line tree line faults occur frequently, transmission line tree line faults affect the safety and reliability of power grid operation, a serious threat to the safety of natural resources and people's property. In this paper, for the 35kV transmission line tree line faults caused by hill fire, built a 35kV line tree line fault experimental platform, in the capacitance current of 248 mA and 132 mA conditions, respectively, selected bamboo, pine and cedar three typical trees as a research sample, to carry out the three kinds of trees tree line fault fire time experiments. The burning phenomena, charring channels, and infrared images of different trees were recorded and analyzed, and the corresponding laws were drawn up to summarize the longest and shortest fire starting times of different capacitance currents and different trees. The research in this paper can provide technical reference for the development of measures to prevent fire caused by tree line faults in 35kV transmission lines.

In the experimental research on the impact of 10-35kV wildfire and tree line faults on transmission lines, it was found that are grounding overvoltage were generated. This paper studies and analyzes the mechanism of overvoltage generation. The research analyzes the three-phase voltage and zero sequence voltage caused by overvoltage. Variation characteristics, when resonance occurs, the random voltage of one phase is less than the voltage of the other two phases, and the magnitude of this voltage is determined by the neutral point displacement voltage; the moment of arc overvoltage will cause the amplitude of the zero sequence voltage and the non-fault phase voltage to be rapid within 0.6ms, the fault phase voltage is lower than the rated voltage, and presents a power frequency cycle change trend. Modeling and simulation were carried out by PSCAD/EMPTC simulation software, and the variation characteristics of arc overvoltage between metal and high resistance grounding were verified.

There are numerous cases of forest fires caused by tree line faults in distribution lines, and it is of great significance to study the characteristic signals when tree line faults occur to prevent mountain fire accidents. In this paper, through theoretical analyses and the construction of real experimental platform, we studied the change rule of leakage current when single-phase tree line fault occurs in different trees. Through the single-phase tree line fault experiment, the relationship between leakage current and tree species, capacitive current to ground and water content when different trees touch the line is studied. The results of the study show that: the occurrence of single-phase tree line fault leakage current for the first time to reach the maximum value of time and tree species, the first time to reach the maximum value of the water content of trees and ground capacitance related.

The tree direct contact line is the fault type that has the greatest impact on the power system in the tree-line contradiction. At present, most of the existing studies are aimed at the monitoring and disposal of tree-line faults, but there are few studies on the impedance characteristics of trees when tree- line faults occur. Based on the 10k V simulated test line, this paper experimentally studies the change process, development trend and change characteristics of tree impedance when trees of different types, lengths and moisture contents have tree-line faults, as well as the influence of different system capacitive currents on fault characteristics. The experiment took three different species of pine, eucalyptus and bamboo as the test objects. The results showed that the impedance characteristics of the three different species of trees during tree line contact discharge were different, among which pine and eucalyptus had larger impedance and bamboo had smaller impedance. And the correlation between tree length and tree impedance is not strong. Under the premise of the same tree species, the impedance of the part with high moisture content is small, and the impedance of the part with low moisture content is large. In the time range of 0~ 20s, the impedance of trees decreases with the increase of discharge time.
