Now, the global energy demand increases and scientist are continuously trying to find renewable resources for energy production. Electrochemical water splitting known as an efficient and economical friendly method to fulfil global energy demands. In water splitting catalyst play crucial role. This study presents the synthesis of CuMnO2 electrocatalyst, that is generated via hydrothermal method. The successful fabrication of generated nanohybrid were done by XRD, BET, SEM and EDS which confirmed high crystallinity, surface area, better morphology and purity. The electrocatalytic performance of fabricated composite was checked in basic (1 M KOH) which confirmed lower Tafel slope (43 mV dec−1) and reduced overpotential (η) of 254 mV at 10 mA cm−2 current density (j). Additionally, the CuMnO2/rGO composite exhibits an elevated active surface area of 3670 cm2 and lower resistance (1.04 Ω). Moreover, rGO provide higher surface area to catch more electrons for the enhancement in specific electrical conductivity for OER. Eventually, the synergistic interaction of CuMnO2 and rGO enhances the stability and electrical conductivity of the composite by providing an electron transmission pathway and structural integrity. Therefore, the above stated results shows that synthesized composite exhibited remarkable efficacy in OER process. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd

In this paper, we propose a concept of resolution enhancement for sub-terahertz (THz) images by employing the coupling between a dielectric sphere and a time-domain THz spectrometer. The terajet effect is used as a simple approach to overcome the diffraction limit. Correlation between the resolutions in the x- and y-directions and the frequency of the incident THz beam is analyzed both analytically and experimentally.

Gamma energy spectrum is a way to confirm the type and content of radioactive nuclides in substances. In order to obtain effective data of gamma spectrum, it is necessary to analyze the data of gamma spectrum obtained by the detector. Nevertheless, due to the influence of statistical fluctuation and gamma generated by the environment itself during the measurement of gamma spectrum, the obtained gamma spectrum is not accurate enough as a result of needing spectral analysis of gamma spectrum, and noise reduction can make the spectral data smoother. Therefore, this paper studies the noise reduction algorithm for gamma spectrum analysis, analyzes the design and application of different algorithms in the process of noise reduction, and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of this algorithm and others. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Hydraulic fracturing of hot and dry rock (HDR) usually produces a single main fracture. However, a single main crack is prone to produce "thermal short-circuit effect" in the heat transfer process, thus reducing the heat transfer efficiency. This will lead to the early abandonment of the HDR wells and restrict the development of the HDR resources. In view of the technical problems faced by the development of HDR resources, the idea of using downhole robots to implement blasting-hydraulic fracturing is put forward. The novel exploitation technology of the HDR resources can avoid the single main fracture caused by the in-situ stress, rock strength and natural fracture, and form a complex fracture network as far as possible, which can improve the thermal interaction area of the HDR and avoiding the "thermal short-circuit effect". Based on the novel exploitation technology of the HDR resources, the working mechanism of the downhole robot is studied. A prototype of the downhole robot and a special experimental bench and system are developed. On this basis, a series of the ground experiments such as static/dynamic experiments and control reliability of the downhole robot have been completed. Finally,the new exploitation technology of the HDR resources is of great scientific significance and engineering application prospects for the economic and efficient development of HDR resources. First-principles can effectively predict the stability of crystal structures, but it is still difficult in designing Zr-Ti binary base alloys directly. In this work, an effective approach based on the first-principles calculations and experiments was putting forward to predict the phase of Zr-Ti binary base ZrTiAlV alloys. Two physical parameters (cohesive energy, EC, and effective valence electron, EVE) were selected to evaluate the β-phase stability which deeply affected the microstructure of ZrTiAlV alloys. In the [[EQUATION]]-[[EQUATION]] diagram, microstructures of the ZrTiAlV alloys were separated into B2, β, α+β and α phase regions. Validity of the prediction of the phase was verified by joint use of the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). And with aid of [[EQUATION]]-[[EQUATION]] diagram the microstructure of ZrTiAlV alloys can be predicted accurately. This approach provides a method for designing ZrTi binary base ZrTiAlV alloy, and other binary base alloy and even high entropy alloy. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

High impedance fault(HIF), especially tree contact single-phase-to-ground fault(TSF), often occurs in resonant grounding systems and are difficult to detect. Therefore, there is an urgent need for an effective TSF detection technology. In this paper, by analyzing the equivalent circuits of different impedance faults in resonant grounding system, and analyzing the transient zero-sequence components of underdamped state and overdamped state under different impedance, the conclusion is drawn: When a TSF occurs, the transient zero-sequence voltage will have a unique " Beat frequency " characteristic, and the problem of covering this phenomenon due to the imbalance of distribution network is effectively solved by fast independent component analysis(FastICA). Based on this conclusion, A fault detection method for TSF based on FastICA is proposed. Finally, the study conducted real experiments using two different impedance trees, bamboo and pine, to verify the proposed detection method. The results of the experiment found clear support for that the detection method is accurate and effective. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The work presented in this paper focuses on formulating the development of time-dependent electromagnetic field laws through the application of Gauss's divergence theorem. The first part of the discussion looks at the basic ideas of electromagnetism. It focuses on how classical formulations of the laws of electromagnetism can be adapted to account for non-stationary conditions, especially regarding magnetic fluids that don't conduct electricity. It is suggested that employing Gauss's divergence theorem could help improve the computational analysis of these generalized equations, which would make them more useful in magnetic fluid dynamics. The paper examines the intricate interactions between non-conductive particles and conductive fluids under magnetic fields. By putting these interactions into a single theoretical framework, this work aims to help us understand non-stationary electromagnetic phenomena and how they affect many different scientific and engineering fields. The concluding section of the study examines the prospective practical applications of these extended equations. They could enable the development of more advanced electromagnetic devices and systems. Creating a strong set of analytical tools that can find new scientific paths and useful applications is the main goal of the study, particularly in the areas of electromagnetic induction and fluid dynamics. This research offers potential for substantial progress in both theoretical comprehension and technological advancement, The proposed method is applicable to real-world systems such as ferrofluid-based cooling, magnetic dampers, plasma generators, and smart electromagnetic devices. These applications demonstrate the practical benefits of coupling field behavior with boundary dynamics using Gauss's theorem. © 2025

As the imperative to address climate change becomes more pressing, there is an increasing focus on limiting global temperature increase to 1.5 °C by the end of the century relative to pre-industrial levels. During the recent Conference of Parties (COP28), nations committed to tripling renewable energy generation to a minimum of 11,000 GW by 2030 and increasing the global annual energy efficiency from 2 % to 4 % annually until 2030. Additionally, the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) introduced a roadmap to transition the Agri-food system from a net emitter to a carbon sink. The role of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) is important;first to accelerate the near-term reduction in net emissions, counterbalance residual emissions at the point of net-zero by mid-century, and sustain large net negative emissions beyond mid-century to return warming to safe levels after decades of temporal overshoot. This paper assesses the impact of the COP 28 agreements, alongside the complementary role of CDR on emission levels, energy structure, land use, and global warming temperature. The findings indicate that implementing the COP28 pledges and FAO roadmap leads to a warming temperature of 2 °C, falling short of the ambitious 1.5 °C temperature limit. Likewise, more stringent actions on transitioning away from fossil plants is a high-priority mitigation action which drives significant emissions reduction. The modelled result shows that Agricultural soil carbon and biochar contribute 47–58 % share of the total CDR deployed in the stylized scenarios. In conclusion, CDR can expedite climate goals but must complement emission reduction efforts;hence, the transition away from fossil fuels should prompt the development of detailed roadmaps. Also, more global efforts should be placed on nature-based CDR methods, as they offer diverse co-benefits. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.

In this work, we focus on fast-slow delayed dynamical systems, which are usually described by coupled delayed differential equations with two-time scales. The purpose of this article is to propose a data-driven discovery method to identify the fast-slow delayed differential equations from noisy measurements. The proposed method blends delay dictionary-based sparse identification of nonlinear dynamics (SINDy) framework and a fixed interval sampling strategy. Specifically, we leverage the SINDy methodology to describe the fast-slow delayed differential equations by a few active terms of a large dictionary containing the delay terms and many candidate nonlinear basis functions. To identify the active terms and the corresponding coefficients, a sequential thresholded re-weighted ℓ 2 least squares algorithm is used to solve the resulting sparse regression problem to enhance the sparsity. Once a sparse model with fixed delay is selected, the proposed method further estimates the delayed time by calculating the reconstruction error from the sparse model until the one that makes the reconstruction error minimum. We verify the effectiveness of the proposed method with several classical fast-slow coupling delayed systems. The experimental results show that the proposed method can well automate the fast-slow delayed differential equations from noisy data and the delayed terms also can be detected accurately.
