Students' feedback is adopted as a common method of evaluating teaching quality, which is crucial in monitoring teaching quality in colleges and universities. However, various factors such as area, gender, and age of the students can influence the model, content, and subjective bias of teaching quality evaluation. Therefore, we conducted a questionnaire survey for students at 90 universities in China and analyzed the data using Tableau and SPSS. The current teaching evaluation system lacks model diversity, discipline specificity, and objective standardization. Thus, improvement considering the relationship between students' cognition, attitude, and participation is proposed to provide a significant reference on the higher education reform system based on the result. © 2024 IEEE.

Capacitor reactive power compensation plays an important role in improving system voltage stability, reducing transmission line losses and substation losses. In this paper, for the 10kV system of a 220kV substation, the capacitor external fuse protection all melted and the body burned accident, based on the faulty capacitor deconstruction, analyzed the main reasons for the capacitor insulation damage and the reasons for the expansion of the fault, calculation and analysis of the capacitor imbalance protection found that the setting value is unreasonable. Through the simulation software PSCAD/EMTDC to reproduce the fault process, the cause of the fault is verified, and finally to avoid the recurrence of the fault puts forward the corresponding processing recommendations. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper introduced the K-SVD algorithm of machine learning to Decompose and Reconstruct the airborne radiation data. According to the sparse representation method, the inaccuracy of gridding interpolation due to the mismatch of data dimension was reduced and then a self-adaptive dictionary was constructed via training the original data. After reconstruction by dictionary learning, the increase in terms of two indicators peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and structural similarity index measure (SSIM) as well as the noise signal extracted which obeyed a stripe-like distribution along the sideline testified that the KSVD encoding learning processing technique had effective results in reconstructing and de-noising airborne radiation data. © 2023 IEEE.

The intelligence security control problem of multiagent systems in the presence of actuator faults is investigated against denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. Noticing that the DoS attacks usually make the actuator signal not available for distributed control protocols, a novel intelligence dual-event-triggered control strategy is developed to eliminate the impact of DoS attacks. This control strategy includes two related event triggers, respectively, set on different channels, in which the second event-triggered condition is related to the triggering sequence of the previous event. Through the coordination between two nested event triggers set on different channels, the controller is avoided by being affected by wrong signals caused by DoS attacks. The developed distributed control protocol can not only guarantee the realization of the tracking control task, but also ensure that no 'Zeno behavior' occurs in the process of the event triggering. Moreover, the obtained results are applied to the mobile robot systems. Finally, a numerical simulation example and a mobile robot system application are given to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy. © 2023 IEEE.

The Helium-Xenon (He-Xe) gas-cooled reactor uses a He-Xe gas mixture to remove the heat from the reactor core. It has the characteristics of a long life-cycle, simple operation, and high power-mass ratio, which has an excellent application prospect in the field of Space Reactors Power Systems. The high operation temperature distinguishes the He-Xe gas-cooled reactor from the traditional reactor in reactivity feedback characteristics. Except for the Doppler effect of the fuel and monolith, the thermal expansion also introduces reactivity feedback during reactor operation. In this work, reactivity feedback characteristics, steady-state characteristics, and transient characteristics of a hundred-kilowatt-level He-Xe gas-cooled reactor (Submersion-Subcritical Safe Space reactor, S4) were analyzed. The Doppler feedback characteristics and thermal expansion feedback coefficients of fuel, matrix, and reflector from the cold to the hot state of the S4 reactor core were calculated based on the reactor Monte Carlo code (RMC). The results show that the S4 reactor core is mainly affected by the fuel Doppler effect and the matrix thermal expansion effect. Furthermore, the temperature distributions of fuel and He-Xe gas of the S4 reactor were calculated using the He-Xe reactor transient analysis code (HXRTRAN). The transient characteristics of the S4 reactor core when different reactivity was introduced were analyzed. This study may provide a reference for the operation state of the He-Xe gas-cooled reactor. © 2023 by JSME.

This paper presents a novel direct-drive electric traction system that incorporates a disk permanent magnet (PM) motor, which shows practical potential to urban rail trains. The disk PM motor can be directly mounted on the train wheel, which realizes the direct contact of power and load. First, conceptual structure of the direct-drive system is described. Then, the motor structure and its specifications are presented from the viewpoint of replacing the asynchronous motor of the existing ALSTOM 04A02 urban rail system. Machine parameters are calculated and 3-D finite element (3-D FEM) simulation is carried out to analyze magnetic field distribution. Design results demonstrate that the disk PM motor has distinguished advantages in power density and efficiency over the asynchronous motor in use, which would be more suitable for heavy-load rail trains. At last, the influence of harmonic current from the inverter on the harmonic torque of the disk PM motor is studied, and results demonstrate that the 6th harmonic torque is the main factor affecting the torque ripple and could be suppressed by further optimizing the machine parameters. This work can provide some reference for improving the train traction system, and has reference values to other electric traction systems. © 2022 IEEE.

Manufacturing industry plays an important role in the country, and the optimization of factory facility layout design in basic manufacturing industry will affect the problem that needs to be solved urgently. The problem of facility layout optimization is not only an engineering research problem, but also more complex in practice, with high practicality. However, its interdisciplinary characteristics are also very obvious. Based on the principle of discrete system simulation, the initial model of the camshaft production line is established on the basis of determining the camshaft production process and the specific parameters of each machine tool. Secondly, according to the established model, discuss the working efficiency of each equipment, the working condition of the station, the failure efficiency of the production line and the bottleneck process, etc., run the model and analyze the results. According to the analysis of the simulation results of the model, it is gradually improved. Finally, the mass production of camshaft production line is discussed, and the initial population, individual fitness function, genetic parameters, etc. are analyzed. On this basis, genetic algorithm is used to optimize the scheduling problem, and the results are compared with the previous ones to verify whether the results are effective. © 2022 IEEE.

Machine learning methods based on fully convolutional networks have emerged as a viable choice for retinal vessel segmentation. However, when input samples significantly deviate from the training data distribution, these deep networks fail silently, posing serious challenges for automatic data processing pipelines. In our study, we question the effectiveness of randomly selecting unlabeled training target images for annotation and inclusion in the support set, as it may not facilitate an efficient fine-Tuning process. We propose a novel method to optimize the image selection procedure to address this. By utilizing our method, we can identify informative unlabeled target images by comparing the consistency of model predictions on these images under specific data augmentations. However, it should be noted that the model developed using the source datasets cannot accurately evaluate consistency on the target images. To overcome this issue, we suggest employing self-supervised pretext tasks to compute scores for unlabeled target images, resolving this limitation. The top few images with the lowest consistency scores can then be added to the support set and annotated by experts to fine-Tune the model for the target images. We introduce an upgraded encoder-decoder model which outperforms multi-scale prediction ensembling to address insufficient single-scale base learners. This paper proposes a novel module that uses joint spatial and channel attention and an auxiliary prototype similarity operation to enhance border localization and super-resolution in the encoder-decoder architecture. To evaluate the performance of our approach, we conducted experiments on two distinct datasets, integrating our joint spatial/channel attention-based module with auxiliary prototype similarity operation for super-resolution encoding. Our empirical results demonstrate the superiority of our proposed model over state-of-The-Art attention mechanisms used in super-resolution. © 2023 IEEE.

Numerical analysis course has important guiding significance for data analysis ability of science and engineering graduate students. Based on BP neural network, we study the teaching influencing factors and teaching reform analysis of numerical analysis course. The teaching quality evaluation of numerical analysis is constructed based on BP neural network. The course of numerical analysis is evaluated from the aspects of classroom teaching, extracurricular development, students' knowledge reserve, and teaching results. 0.820675 is the related coefficient between the predicted value of the neural network and the actual value of questionnaire results, which shows that the constructed teaching quality evaluation model is reliable. Through the related coefficient analysis of the data, the main factors affecting the quality of teaching are obtained to provide new direction and orientation for teaching reform. © 2022 IEEE.

The development of nuclear energy and the application of nuclear technology is inseparable from the detection of radionuclides. Considering the incomplete utilization of ?-spectral information in traditional spectral analysis methods, the accuracy is not high. In this study, exponential smoothing is performed on the energy spectrum signal of length 1024 to eliminate the influence of the statistical fluctuation of the detector, and then it is used as the input of the neural network to realize the full spectrum analysis. The method avoids the complex feature extraction process and can identify a single radionuclide in real time. © 2022 IEEE.
