In order to solve the problem of unmanned aerial Vehicle (UAV) cluster saturation attack, the autonomous maneuver strategy of UAV is studied. Based on the distributed partial observable Markov decision process, the autonomous maneuver decision model of UAV is constructed, and the Recurrent Multi-Agent Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (RMADDPG) is used to learn the maneuver strategy of UAV cluster saturation attack. Combined with the typical characteristics of saturation attack scenario, two reward functions of global reward and local reward for UAV maneuver are designed. The trained UAVs can effectively perform suicide saturation attack task. According to the mission target design evaluation index of saturation attack, the Monte Carlo analysis method is used to compare the proposed method with particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm in three aspects: inter aircraft collision avoidance, NFZ avoidance and simultaneous attack. The experimental results show that the trained UAVs can effectively perform the suicide saturation attack task under the condition of a small amount of communication, which provides a method for the application of multi-agent deep reinforcement learning to UAV cluster operations. © 2022 IEEE.

The COVID-19 pandemic drastically impacted nearly all aspects of life throughout the world during 2020. It had a particularly severe impact on air transportation with U.S. demand initially dropping by over 90%. In this paper, we investigate the impact on the performance of the U.S. domestic air transportation system. We analyze both the changes in the volume and characteristics of flight operations and also changes in system performance metrics. We also discuss various adjustments made by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) both to take advantage of reduced system congestions and also to cope with COVID-19 infections among controllers. © ATM 2021. Background:The current pandemic of coronavirus disease(COVID-19)caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has shown epidemiological and clinical characteristics that appear worsened in hypertensive *** morbidity and mortality of the disease among hypertensive patients in Africa have yet to be well ***:In this retrospective cohort study all confirmed COVID-19 adult patients(≥18 years of age)in Lagos between February 27 to July 62,020 were ***,clinical and outcome data were extracted from electronic medical records of patients admitted at the COVID-19 isolation centers in *** included dying,being discharged after recovery or being evacuated/*** statistics considered proportions,means and *** Chi-square and Fisher’s exact tests were used in determining associations between ***–Meier survival analysis and Cox regression were performed to quantify the risk of worse outcomes among hypertensives with COVID-19 and adjust for confounders.P-value≤0.05 was considered statistically ***:A total of 2075 adults with COVID-19 were included in this *** prevalence of hypertension,the most common comorbidity,was 17.8%followed by diabetes(7.2%)and asthma(2.0%).Overall mortality was 4.2%while mortality among the hypertensives was 13.7%.Severe symptoms and mortality were significantly higher among the hypertensives and survival rates were significantly lowered by the presence of additional comorbidity to 50%from 91%for those with hypertension alone and from 98%for all other patients(P<0.001).After adjustment for confounders(age and sex),severe COVID-19and death were higher for hypertensives{severe/critical illness:HR=2.41,P=0.001,95%CI=1.4–4.0,death:HR=2.30,P=0.001,95%CI=1.2–4.6,for those with hypertension only}{severe/critical illness:HR=3.76,P=0.001,95%CI=2.1–6.4,death:crude HR=6.63,P=0.001,95%CI=3.4–1.6,for those with additional comorbidities

Attack surfaces, as one of the security models, can help people to analyse the security of systems in cyberspace, such as risk assessment by utilizing various security metrics or providing a cost-effective network hardening solution. Numerous attack surface models have been proposed in the past decade,but they are not appropriate for describing complex systems with heterogeneous components. To address this limitation, we propose to use a two-layer Hierarchical Attack Surface Network(HASN) that models the data interactions and resource distribution of the system in a component-oriented view. First, we formally define the HASN by extending the entry point and exit point framework. Second, in order to assess data input risk and output risk on the HASN, we propose two behaviour models and two simulation-based risk metrics. Last, we conduct experiments for three network systems. Our experimental results show that the proposed approach is applicable and effective.

Maximizing Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is an essential technique in photovoltaic (PV) systems that guarantees the highest potential conversion of sunlight energy under any irradiance changes. Efficient and reliable MPPT technique is a challenge faced by researchers due to factors such as fluctuations in irradiance and the presence of partial shading. This paper introduced a novel hybrid Equilibrium Slime Mould Optimization (ESMO) MPPT-based algorithm combining the advantages of two recent algorithms, Slime Mould Optimization (SMO) and Equilibrium Optimizer (EO). The ESMO algorithm is compared with highly efficient MPPT-based techniques such as SMO, EO, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO), and Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA), both under a Simulink environment and a real-time experimental laboratory setup using a Dspace1104 controller and PV emulator. The comparison focuses on performance under several irradiance cases, including instant irradiance change, partial shading, complex partial shading, and dynamic partial shading. The key advantage of ESMO is the fact that it has a single tunable parameter, which makes implementation much easier and, at the same time, reduces the computational resources that are required by the control system. Extensive testing proves the superiority of ESMO over all other techniques, the average efficiency of which is 99.98% under all conditions. Additionally, ESMO provides fast average tracking times of 244 ms under simulation experiments and 200 ms for real-time experiments. These results show that ESMO can be very important for future implementation in large-scale solar PV systems. © 2024

This paper presents a formal analysis of the QUIC protocol. This newly proposed protocol is currently under the process of standardization, and it is still unknown whether the proposed protocol provides the claimed security guarantees. To fill this gap, we model the QUIC handshake protocol in the applied pi calculus and perform a comprehensive formal analysis using ProVerif. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first thorough study on the formal analysis of QUIC handshake protocol.

This paper gives an analysis of the dynamic characteristics of situation elements(SEs) in situation awareness(SA)research. The purpose of the discussion is to understand the factors that influence SA and to help in designing the training systems to improve operators’ SA. The status function of SEs is defined and the derivative of the function represents trends of the status of SEs at each moment. Then, Fourier transform(FT) is used to give the frequency-domain function in terms of the time-domain status function. In frequency domain, the bandwidth of the status function is used as a criterion to characterize the notion of "fast" and"slow" of the change of SE’s status, which represents the dynamic characteristic of SEs. The criterion constitutes the first analytical measurement of the dynamic characteristic of SEs, which is one of the important factors that influence the SA process.

On the basis of analyzing the composition of losses in high-efficient high-voltage asynchronous motors, the approaches of increasing the efficiency of the motors is investigated in this paper. The approaches concern with the improvement of material, winding, fan, magnetic groove and so on. Synthesizing recent researches of Internet traffic measurements and analyses, a model for packet switched core networks of packet-level and a model for circuit switched core networks of flow-level are founded respectively, and the methods of figuring the core link bandwidth are presented according the sufficient condition for the network to guarantee the media synchronization as the demand of performance metrics for streaming media. Numerical calculating and analyzing on the statistical data from actual networks shows that packet switched core networks and circuit switched core networks can provide similar service for streaming media in delay and delay jitter performance. ©2010 IEEE.
