With the advent of Bitcoin, the blockchain as the underlying technology of Bitcoin has entered people's field of vision. In recent years, the blockchain and its related technologies have developed rapidly. The consensus algorithm is the key to the realization of blockchain technology. There will be Byzantine nodes in the process of reaching consensus among the nodes in the blockchain. Byzantine nodes are tolerated in the blockchain to achieve consensus. Consensus is an essential performance of consensus algorithms. This paper first introduces blockchain technology and the application of consensus algorithms in it;secondly, introduces the classic PBFT algorithm;then, introduces some existing consensus algorithms;finally summarizes the research status and challenges of consensus algorithms, and analyzes its Prospects. © 2023 IEEE.

Fundus images are commonly used to document the presence and severity of various retinal degenerative diseases, where the fovea, optic disc (OD), and optic cup (OC) serve as important anatomical landmarks. Locating and segmenting these landmarks are crucial for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Many existing methods treat the recognition of the fovea, OD, and OC as separate tasks without incorporating any clinical prior knowledge related to various anatomical structures. In this paper, we propose a prior information guided coarse-to-fine dual-branch encoding network, which enables fovea localization and OD/OC segmentation. In coarse stage, we employ a dual-branch network consisting of convolutional neural network (CNN) and Transformer to encode local and global features, and then utilize multi-scale feature fusion techniques to merge the extracted semantic features, aiming to enhance the localization accuracy. In addition, we effectively use the distance information from each pixel to the landmark of interest, and output the results of distance map and heat map regression as prior information to further guide the network to learn the positional relationship between fovea and OD. In fine stage, we refine the region of interest (ROI) of the OD, balance the distribution of the OD and OC using polar coordinate transformation (PCT), extract critical boundary features using the boundary attention module (BAM), and improve the generalization performance of our method through model ensemble strategy. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method outperforms existing state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods on the publicly available GAMMA and REFUGE datasets. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, with the rapid development of deep learning and computer vision technology, the forgery technology of images and videos has become increasingly mature, posing new challenges to information security and social stability. Behind the re-evolution of deepfake lies the rampant proliferation of fake content, which is used for election tampering, identity fraud, fraud, spreading fake news, and so on. To address these challenges, researchers are constantly exploring and developing image-based deepfake detection techniques, which aim to effectively identify and prevent deepfake content in images and videos. This article will introduce the current development status of deepfake detection technology, present its principles and methods in detail, and look ahead to its future development directions. © 2024 IEEE.

The automotive industry has always been seeking innovative solutions to improve car performance, safety, and cost savings. Lightweight design technology has become one of the solutions. This article summarizes the modeling and optimization methods of automotive lightweight design, as well as key technologies based on intelligent optimization learning. First, this article outlines the basic concepts of automotive lightweight design, as well as the needs and challenges of the industry for lightweight design. Then, the modeling methods of lightweight design are introduced in detail, including geometric modeling, topology optimization, structural optimization, and multidisciplinary optimization. At the same time, commonly used materials, manufacturing processes, and testing methods in lightweight design are introduced, as well as relevant design guidelines and standards. This article also introduces some algorithms and their applicable scenarios. Additionally, this article summarizes the application prospects and future development directions of key technologies for automotive lightweight design modeling and intelligent optimization learning. We emphasize the opportunities and challenges in this field and propose how to continue promoting the development of lightweight design technology and responding to increasingly complex market demands. This article provides a systematic review of key technologies for automotive lightweight design modeling and intelligent optimization learning, which helps researchers and practitioners to deepen their understanding of the technical development and application trends in this field. © 2023 IEEE.

Medical image segmentation is a challenging task especially when dealing with unlabeled data. It has been proven that the use of complementary information for co-training is effective for medical image segmentation. We find that high-confidence regions are easy to segment, but low-confidence regions are difficult to correctly segment, which results in poor segmentation performance. Therefore, accurate segmentation in low-confidence regions is the effective way to enhance the performance of medical image segmentation. To achieve this goal, we propose a novel co-training strategy named low-confidence heterogeneous pixel-prototype contrastive learning with uncertainty-guide cross supervision for semi-supervised medical image segmentation. Specifically, an uncertainty-guided cross supervision module is firstly designed to estimate the confidence score of predictions from multiple outputs and then perform cross supervision between high-confidence regions. Moreover, we design a low-confidence heterogeneous prototype contrastive learning, which builds the relationship between low-confidence pixel and heterogeneous prototype to mine discriminative information in low-confidence regions so as to improve the segmentation performance. Extensive experiments on medical image datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods in segmentation results. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, with the wide application of CNN in the field of deep learning, the related model of CNN, the Deep Pyramid Convolutional Neural Networks for Text Categorization (DPCNN) model, has emerged, and by the idea of deepening the depth of the network to obtain the best accuracy, DPCNN has made breakthroughs in related fields, especially in the field of text categorization, and its concrete applications in solving practical problems have achieved good results. This paper first introduces the text classification system, then introduces the mainstream model CNN for text classification, after that this paper focuses on the analysis of the DPCNN model, introduces its background and its principle analysis, and introduces the application of DPCNN in specific examples, and finally summarizes and outlooks on DPCNN, emphasizes its application advantages and builds suitable application scenarios. © 2023 IEEE.

Rapidly increasing data requires a lot of time to execute different tasks by the systems at Cloudlet Federation (CF). The demand of today's computing is to exploit resource utilization up to maximum. Efficient resource allocation and scheduling of tasks are the significant characteristics of Cloudlet Federation (CF). Different tasks have diverse execution time. Some tasks require greater execution time whereas some need just a couple of seconds for their execution. Scheduling offers a feasible solution for handling these tasks with the help of different scheduling algorithms. To address task scheduling issue, this paper proposes a scheduling technique named Least Busy Time Scheduling (LBTS) for smart scheduling of tasks in Cloudlet Federation (CF). The proposed technique assists the scheduler to assign task to a system considering the parameter of least busy time to reduce waiting time and optimize the overall performance of the system. © 2023 IEEE.

Sentiment analysis, a crucial task in discerning emotional tones within the text, plays a pivotal role in understandingpublic opinion and user sentiment across diverse *** numerous scholars conduct sentiment analysisin widely spoken languages such as English, Chinese, Arabic, Roman Arabic, and more, we come to grapplingwith resource-poor languages like Urdu literature which becomes a challenge. Urdu is a uniquely crafted language,characterized by a script that amalgamates elements from diverse languages, including Arabic, Parsi, Pashtu,Turkish, Punjabi, Saraiki, and more. As Urdu literature, characterized by distinct character sets and linguisticfeatures, presents an additional hurdle due to the lack of accessible datasets, rendering sentiment analysis aformidable undertaking. The limited availability of resources has fueled increased interest among researchers,prompting a deeper exploration into Urdu sentiment analysis. This research is dedicated to Urdu languagesentiment analysis, employing sophisticated deep learning models on an extensive dataset categorized into fivelabels: Positive, Negative, Neutral, Mixed, and Ambiguous. The primary objective is to discern sentiments andemotions within the Urdu language, despite the absence of well-curated datasets. To tackle this challenge, theinitial step involves the creation of a comprehensive Urdu dataset by aggregating data from various sources such asnewspapers, articles, and socialmedia comments. Subsequent to this data collection, a thorough process of cleaningand preprocessing is implemented to ensure the quality of the data. The study leverages two well-known deeplearningmodels, namely Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), for bothtraining and evaluating sentiment analysis performance. Human microchip implants are small devices that are implanted into the body for various purposes including storing and transmitting information, monitoring health or location, and providing access to facilities or systems. Although human microchip implants offer numerous advantages, their adoption remains low in the public sector. This article presents a comprehensive survey on the emerging trend of human microchip implants and their potential uses in various fields. In addition to introducing the general concept of microchip implants, the work discusses their current and potential future applications. To better understand the direction of this trend, recent case studies of existing applications of human microchip implants are analyzed and presented. The article also explores the barriers to the adoption of human microchip implants and discusses their potential impact on humans, whether positive or negative. © 2023 IEEE.
