Cross-Site Scripting(XSS)remains a significant threat to web application security,exploiting vulnerabilities to hijack user sessions and steal sensitive *** detection methods often fail to keep pace with the evolving sophistication of cyber *** paper introduces a novel hybrid ensemble learning framework that leverages a combination of advanced machine learning algorithms—Logistic Regression(LR),Support Vector Machines(SVM),eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost),Categorical Boosting(CatBoost),and Deep Neural Networks(DNN).Utilizing the XSS-Attacks-2021 dataset,which comprises 460 instances across various real-world trafficrelated scenarios,this framework significantly enhances XSS attack *** approach,which includes rigorous feature engineering and model tuning,not only optimizes accuracy but also effectively minimizes false positives(FP)(0.13%)and false negatives(FN)(0.19%).This comprehensive methodology has been rigorously validated,achieving an unprecedented accuracy of 99.87%.The proposed system is scalable and efficient,capable of adapting to the increasing number of web applications and user demands without a decline in *** demonstrates exceptional real-time capabilities,with the ability to detect XSS attacks dynamically,maintaining high accuracy and low latency even under significant ***,despite the computational complexity introduced by the hybrid ensemble approach,strategic use of parallel processing and algorithm tuning ensures that the system remains scalable and performs robustly in real-time *** for easy integration with existing web security systems,our framework supports adaptable Application Programming Interfaces(APIs)and a modular design,facilitating seamless augmentation of current *** innovation represents a significant advancement in cybersecurity,offering a scalable and effective solution for securing modern web applications against evolving threats.

The complexity of apps running on cloud platforms is evident in their nature. Every application has distinct needs for processing power and memory at various times. In order to effectively cater to tenants' varied computing requirements while reducing inefficiencies in resource usage, cloud service providers need to be able to predict workload variations with high accuracy and evaluate how cloud apps use resources. In the recent past, there has been a significant increase in research and engineering efforts in cloud computing. These efforts are focused on developing methods to address important issues such as predicting changes in workloads, assessing resource demands, perceiving quality of service (QoS), and detecting anomalies. By reviewing these algorithms in depth, this paper aims to provide academics a better grasp of the most recent developments in this area. © 2024 IEEE.

Clustering ensemble is a popular approach for identifying data clusters that combines the clustering results from multiple base clustering algorithms to produce more accurate and robust data clusters. However, the performance of clustering ensemble algorithms is highly dependent on the quality of clustering members. To address this problem, this paper proposes a member enhancement-based clustering ensemble (MECE) algorithm that selects the ensemble members by considering their distribution consistency. MECE has two main components, called heterocluster splitting and homocluster merging. The first component estimates two probability density functions (p.d.f.s) estimated on the sample points of an heterocluster and represents them using a Gaussian distribution and a Gaussian mixture model. If the random numbers generated by these two p.d.f.s have different probability distributions, the heterocluster is then split into smaller clusters. The second component merges the clusters that have high neighborhood densities into a homocluster, where the neighborhood density is measured using a novel evaluation criterion. In addition, a co-association matrix is presented, which serves as a summary for the ensemble of diverse clusters. A series of experiments were conducted to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed ensemble member generation algorithm. Results show that the proposed MECE algorithm can select high quality ensemble members and as a result yield the better clusterings than six state-of-the-art ensemble clustering algorithms, that is, cluster-based similarity partitioning algorithm (CSPA), meta-clustering algorithm (MCLA), hybrid bipartite graph formulation (HBGF), evidence accumulation clustering (EAC), locally weighted evidence accumulation (LWEA), and locally weighted graph partition (LWGP). Specifically, MECE algorithm has the nearly 23% higher average NMI, 27% higher average ARI, 15% higher average FMI, and 10% higher average purity than CSPA

Hyperspectral is a well-established form of data in the medical field and plays an irreplaceable role, reflecting not only the size, shape and structure of the target pathological areas, but also the differences in spectral between the chemical composition of the targets. Therefore, hyperspectral image(HSI) can provide more abundant information for medical practitioners when performing pathology analysis. In recent years, while two powerful representational learning methods, which have been fully developed in the long term in deep learning, namely convolution and attention mechanism, have both made significant contributions to the pathological analysis of hyperspectral medical images. However, they have also revealed respective shortcomings in previous works, such as insufficient support of the biological basis of convolution and its weak ability to capture global information, the insufficient ability of attention mechanism to acquire spatial texture features, and both have over-reliance on sample quantity as well as quality. Therefore, this article proposes a Mixed Convolution-Attention-Residual(MCAR) model and a corresponding MCARNet network for the HSI classification task of cholangiocarcinoma by effectively combining multi-branch convolution, attention mechanism and residual structure. We also effectively validate that the proposed model can perform better in the task by parallel extraction of global with local features as well as the construction of residual structure under the condition of few training samples. © 2023 ACM.

Mobile edge caching (MEC) allows edge devices to cache popular contents and deliver them to end-users directly, which can effectively alleviate increasing backbone loads and improve end-users' quality of service. Peer content sharing (PCS) enables edge devices to share the cached contents with others, and can further increase the caching efficiency. While many efforts have been made to content caching or sharing technologies, it remains open to study the complicated technical and economic interplay between both technologies. In this paper, we propose a joint MEC-PCS framework, and focus on capturing the strategic interactions between different types of edge devices. Specifically, we model their interactions as a non-cooperative game, where each device (player) can choose to be an agent (who caches and shares contents with others) or a requester (who doesn't cache but requests contents from others) of each content. We analyze the existence and uniqueness of the game equilibrium systematically under the generic usage-based pricing (for PCS). To address the incomplete information issue, we further design a behavior rule that allows players to achieve the equilibrium via a dynamic learning algorithm. Simulations show that the joint MEC-PCS framework can reduce the total system cost by 60%, compared with the benchmark pure caching system without PCS. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes a new on-demand wireless energy transfer (WET) scheme of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Unlike the existing studies that simply pursuing the total or the minimum harvested energy maximization at the Internet of Things (IoT) devices, where the IoT devices’ own energy requirements are barely considered, we propose a new metric called the hungry-level of energy (HoE), which reflects the time-varying energy demand of each IoT device based on the energy gap between its required energy and the harvested energy from the UAVs. With the purpose to minimize the overall HoE of the IoT devices whose energy requirements are not satisfied, we optimally determine all the UAVs’ trajectories and WET decisions over time, under the practical mobility and energy constraints of the UAVs. Although the proposed problem is of high complexity to solve, by excavating the UAVs’ self-attentions for their collaborative WET, we propose the multi-agent graph reinforcement learning (MAGRL) based approach. Through the offline training of the MAGRL model, where the global training at the central controller guides the local training at each UAV agent, each UAV then distributively determines its trajectory and WET based on the well-trained local neural networks. Simulation results show that the proposed MAGRL-based approach outperforms various benchmarks for meeting the IoT devices’ energy requirements. © 2023 IFIP.

Traditional autonomous navigation methods for mobile robots mainly rely on geometric feature-based LiDAR scan-matching algorithms, but in complex environments, this method is often affected due to the presence of moving objects, occlusions, and other interfering factors, resulting in a decrease in positioning accuracy. With the growing demand for robotics applications in logistics, security, exploration and other fields, the need for robust autonomous navigation and high-precision mapping in highly dynamic and complex environments is becoming more and more urgent. To solve this problem, an improved front-end scan matching algorithm based on Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) LiDAR is proposed in this paper. Firstly, by using the target Doppler velocity information provided by the FMCW LiDAR, we design a novel point cloud segmentation algorithm based on velocity clustering, which is able to effectively distinguish between stationary and moving objects, and avoid the dynamic interference affecting the position estimation. Secondly, we introduce the Gaussian Mixture Model Sampling Consistency (GMMSC) algorithm, which is more robust to reject the mis-matched pairs in the scanning matching process and improve the alignment accuracy. Finally, based on the residual high-quality matched pairs, we combine the classical ICP algorithm with the robust kernel function to further enhance the stability of the position estimation in the case of occlusion and local mismatch. The experimental results show that the proposed improved algorithm significantly improves the mapping capability of mobile robots in complex environments compared with the existing techniques. The average relative error of the improved front-end scanning matching algorithm is reduced by 40.6 % compared with the pre-improved one. © 2025, Taiwan Ubiquitous Information CO LTD. Scalable Motion Estimation and Temporal Context Reinforcement for Video Compression Using RGB Sensors

We propose a novel deep learned video compression technique, named scalable motion estimation (SME), which is designed for video data generated by sensor systems in smart devices. These devices face unique challenges due to limited bandwidth, constrained computational resources, and the complexity of real-world scenarios. Existing learned video compression methods primarily rely on optical flow for motion estimation;however, optical flow often suffers from inaccuracies and displacement errors, resulting in imprecise motion vectors, and the increasing complexity of models further limits their deployment in resource-constrained environments. To address these issues, the SME framework introduces a hierarchical motion vector enhancement strategy that progressively optimizes motion information in video captured by sensors. In addition, we propose the temporal context reinforcement (TCR) module, which partitions high-dimensional contextual information into three components. Compared to direct context encoding methods, the TCR module optimizes bit allocation, achieving a more balanced distribution of high- and low-frequency information. Extensive experiments on benchmark datasets demonstrate that the SME framework substantially enhances the efficiency and performance of video compression systems on RGB sensor-captured videos, making it particularly suitable for video applications. © 2001-2012 IEEE.
