The sign language functions as a method of communication for people who are deaf and mute, utilizing recognized signs or bodily gestures to convey meanings. It incorporates shapes, hand movements, directions, and facial expressions. A single sign not only represents a word but also communicates a particular tone. For many deaf individuals, verbal communication is not an option, and they may also face challenges in reading and writing. Consequently, the development of a sign language translation system, or more precisely, a sign language recognition (SLR) system, holds significant importance in their lives. SLR is highly sought after due to its potential to facilitate communication between those who are deaf and those who hearing individuals. This field represents a crucial area of research within the realm of human-computer interaction studies. To tackle this issue, we employed the DenseNet121 Model. Our approach involved using the DenseNet121 Model alongside a dataset representing the ASL Alphabet, encompassing 24 classes corresponding to English sign language letters (excluding the letters J and Z, which involve movement). The training dataset comprised 27,455 instances, while the test dataset consisted of 7,172 instances. During the training process, we allocated Using 80% of the dataset for training and setting aside the remaining 20% for testing. The outcomes of our proposed model were exceptionally encouraging, achieving an impressive accuracy rate of 97% and 96% validation accuracy. This success underscores the potential effectiveness of our model in automatically recognizing American Sign Language gestures, thereby enhancing facilitating communication and access for people who are hearing-impaired. © 2024 IEEE.

Uncertainty estimation in deep learning has emerged as a crucial area of research due to its significance in enhancing model reliability and decision-making in critical applications. This article explores various methods and applications of uncertainty estimation in deep learning, aiming to provide insights into its importance, methods, and potential impact. Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis, the study identifies key findings regarding the effectiveness, limitations, and ethical considerations associated with uncertainty estimation techniques. The results reveal the diverse range of methodologies employed, including Bayesian approaches, ensemble methods, and Monte Carlo sampling, each with its strengths and drawbacks. Furthermore, the article discusses the implications of uncertainty estimation in deep learning for fields such as healthcare, autonomous systems, and safety-critical domains. Overall, this study underscores the significance of uncertainty estimation in deep learning and provides valuable insights for researchers and practitioners in the field. © 2024 IEEE.

Traffic prediction of wireless networks attracted many researchersand practitioners during the past decades. However, wireless traffic frequentlyexhibits strong nonlinearities and complicated patterns, which makes it challengingto be predicted accurately. Many of the existing approaches forpredicting wireless network traffic are unable to produce accurate predictionsbecause they lack the ability to describe the dynamic spatial-temporalcorrelations of wireless network traffic data. In this paper, we proposed anovel meta-heuristic optimization approach based on fitness grey wolf anddipper throated optimization algorithms for boosting the prediction accuracyof traffic volume. The proposed algorithm is employed to optimize the hyperparametersof long short-term memory (LSTM) network as an efficient timeseries modeling approach which is widely used in sequence prediction *** prove the superiority of the proposed algorithm, four other optimizationalgorithms were employed to optimize LSTM, and the results were *** evaluation results confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed approachin predicting the traffic of wireless networks accurately. On the other hand,a statistical analysis is performed to emphasize the stability of the proposedapproach.

The conventional Close circuit television(CCTV)cameras-based surveillance and control systems require human resource *** all the criminal activities take place using weapons mostly a handheld gun,revolver,pistol,swords ***,automatic weapons detection is a vital requirement now a *** current research is concerned about the real-time detection of weapons for the surveillance cameras with an implementation of weapon detection using Efficient–*** time datasets,from local surveillance department’s test sessions are used for model training and *** consist of local environment images and videos from different type and resolution cameras that minimize the *** research also contributes in the making of Efficient-Net that is experimented and results in a positive *** results are also been represented in graphs and in calculations for the representation of results during training and results after training are also shown to represent our research ***-Net algorithm gives better results than existing *** using Efficient-Net algorithms the accuracy achieved 98.12%when epochs increase as compared to other algorithms.

Sentiment analysis is a growing topic of study that straddles several disciplines, consisting of machine learning, natural language processing, and data mining. Its goal is to automate the extraction of conveyed concepts from a text. Much research has been undertaken in this field, particularly on English texts, because of their wide uses, whereas other languages, like Arabic, have gotten far less attention. The objective is to implement a multi-classification sentiment analyzer for Arabic text while using four recently published contextualized embedding models. The proposed work is an intrinsic evaluation metric of the four models. The results of the experiments revealed that MARBERT and ARABERT models are found to be the best. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Water is a vital *** supports a multitude of industries,civilizations,and ***,climatic conditions impact water availability,particularly in desert areas where the temperature is high,and rain is ***,it is crucial to forecast water demand to provide it to sectors either on regular or emergency *** study aims to develop an accurate model to forecast daily water demand under the impact of climatic *** forecasting is known as a multivariate time series because it uses both the historical data of water demand and climatic conditions to forecast the *** on the collected data of Jeddah city,Saudi Arabia in the period between 2004 and 2018,we develop a hybrid approach that uses Artificial Neural Networks(ANN)for forecasting and Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm(PSO)for tuning ANNs’*** on the Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)metric,results show that the(PSO-ANN)is an accurate model for multivariate time series ***,the first day is the most difficult day for prediction(highest error rate),while the second day is the easiest to predict(lowest error rate).Finally,correlation analysis shows that the dew point is the most climatic factor affecting water demand.
