Graphical passwords (GPWs) are in many areas of the current world, in which the two-dimensional code has been applied successfully nowadays. Topological graphic passwords (Topsnut-gpws) are a new type of cryptography, and they differ from the existing GPWs. A Topsnut-gpw consists of two parts: one is a topological structure (graph), and one is a set of discrete elements (a graph labelling, or coloring), the topological structure connects these discrete elements together to form an interesting "story". It is not easy to remember passwords made up of longer bytes for many Chinese people. Chinese characters are naturally topological structures and have very high information density, especially, Chinese couplets form natively public keys and private keys in authentication. Our idea is to transform Chinese characters into computer and electronic equipments with touch screen by speaking, writing and keyboard for forming Hanzi-gpws (one type of Topsnut-gpws). We will translate Chinese characters into graphs (Hanzi-graphs), and apply mathematical techniques (graph labellings) to construct Hanzi-gpws, and next using Hanzi-gpws produces text-based passwords (TB-paws) with longer bytes as desired. We will explore a new topic of encrypting networks by means of algebraic groups, called graphic groups (Ablian additive finite group), and construct several kinds of self-similar Hanzi-networks, as well as some approaches for the encryption of networks, an important topic of researching information security. The stroke order of writing Chinese characters motivates us to study directed Hanzi-gpws based on directed graphs. We will introduce flawed graph labellings on disconnected Hanzi-graphs such that each Hanzi-gpw with a flawed graph labelling can form a set of connected Topsnut-gpws, like a group. A New Anti-Spam Model Based on E-mail Address Concealment Technique

To deal with the junk e-mail problem caused by the e-mail address leakage for a majority of Internet users, this paper presents a new privacy protection model in which the e-mail address of the user is treated as a piece of privacy information concealed. Through an interaction pattern that involves three parties and uses an e-mail address code in the place of an e-mail address, the proposed model can prevent the e-mail address from being leaked, thus effectively resolving the junk e-mail problem. We compare the proposed anti-spam method with the filtering technology based on machine learning. The result shows that 100% spams can be filtered out in our scheme, indicating the effectiveness of the proposed anti-spam method.

| The demand for sophisticated tools and approaches in heat management and control has triggered fast development of emerging fields including conductive thermal metamaterials, nanophononics, far-field and near-field radiative thermal management, etc. In this review, we cast a unified perspective on the control of heat transfer, based on which the related studies can be considered as complementary paradigms toward manipulating physical parameters and realizing unprecedented phenomena in heat transfer using artificial structures, such as thermal conductivity in heat conduction, thermal emissivity in radiation, and properties related to multi-physical effects. The review is divided into three parts that focus on the three main categories of heat flow control, respectively. Thermal conduction and radiation are emphasized in the first and second parts at both macro- and micro-scale. The third part discusses the efforts to actively introduce heat sources or tune the material parameters with multi-physical effects in both conduction and radiation, including works using thermal convection. We conclude the review with challenges in this research topic and new possibilities about topological thermal effects, heat waves, and quantum thermal effects. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. The rotor speed and system frequency are decoupled in the MPPT control mode of D-PMSG wind turbine,which can not provide additional active power to participate in frequency control and lead to insufficient frequency regulation ability. Aiming at improving the frequency response characteristic of D-PMSG wind turbine and solving the problem of mutual interference between additional inertia control and MPPT control,an improved additional inertia control strategy is proposed. The control method can employ the auxiliary power of additional inertia control to support system frequency and compensate the active reference of MPPT control through speed regulation according to the system frequency variations. Simulation results indicate better inertia response characteristics and great improvement of mutual interference.

Background: Systems Medicine is a novel approach to medicine, that is, an interdisciplinary field that considers the human body as a system, composed of multiple parts and of complex relationships at multiple levels, and further integrated into an environment. Exploring Systems Medicine implies understanding and combining concepts coming from diametral different fields, including medicine, biology, statistics, modeling and simulation, and data science. Such heterogeneity leads to semantic issues, which may slow down implementation and fruitful interaction between these highly diverse fields. Methods: In this review, we collect and explain more than100 terms related to Systems Medicine. These include both modeling and data science terms and basic systems medicine terms, along with some synthetic definitions, examples of applications, and lists of relevant references. Results: This glossary aims at being a first aid kit for the Systems Medicine researcher facing an unfamiliar term, where he/she can get a first understanding of them, and, more importantly, examples and references for digging into the topic. © Massimiliano Zanin et al., 2021;Published by Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. 2021.

The computer graphics and computer vision communities have been working closely together in recent years and a variety of algorithms and applications have been developed to analyze and manipulate the visual media around us. There are three major driving forces behind this phenomenon： 1） the availability of big data from the Internet has created a demand for dealing with the ever-increasing, vast amount of resources; 2） powerful processing tools, such as deep neural networks, provide effective ways for learning how to deal with heterogeneous visual data; 3） new data capture devices, such as the Kilxect, the bridge betweea algorithms for 2D image understanding and 3D model analysis. These driving forces have emerged only recently, and we believe that the computer graphics and computer vision communities are still in the beginning of their honeymoon phase. In this work we survey recent research on how computer vision techniques benefit computer graphics techniques and vice versa, and cover research on analysis, manipulation, synthesis, and interaction. We also discuss existing problems and suggest possible further research directions.

In biometrics, face recognition methods are achieving momentum with recent progress in the computer vision(CV). Face recognition is widely used in the identification of an individual's identity. Unfortunately, in recent research work has revealed this face biometrics system is unprotected to spoofing attacks using by very low price instrument such as printed 2D photos attack, 3D masking attack and taking videos using smart devices (reply attack). Therefore, a Liveness Attack Detection (LAD) approach is needed to improve the high-quality security of face recognition system. Most of the earlier worked LAD methods for face anti-spoofing methods have highlight on using the handcrafted features, which are developed by expert knowledge of researcher. As example Gabor filter, Histogram of Oriented Gradients, local ternary pattern, and the Local Binary Pattern. Because of that, the extracted features consider limited factors of the problem, yielding a capture accuracy that is very low and changes with the point of presentation in attack face images. The deep learning method has developed in the computer vision research community, which is proven to be suitable for automatically training. In this article, we approach to mix or combine the handcrafted features and deep neural network features to design the discriminant face spoofing detection. The handcrafted features were based on LBP analysis. We examine the features information from the brightness and the chrominance channels using LBP descriptor. In deep features, we present an approach based on pre-trained convolutional neural network VGG-16 model using static features to recognize video and printed(2D) photo attacks. By attaching this two types of image features on our dataset and public databases, we get good results to identify real and attack images feature, called hybrid features, which has better discrimination ability to understand spoofing image feature.

A two-stage feature weighting method for naive bayes and its application in software defect prediction

Software defect prediction (SDP) models facilitate software practitioners to find out defect-prone software modules in software. Software practitioners can then test these defect-prone software modules with limited testing resources to minimize software defects. Among various SDP models, Naive Bayes (NB) has been widely used in SDP because of its simplicity, effectiveness and robustness. The NB classifier is an effective classification approach, especially for data sets with discrete attributes. In NB, the attributes are assumed to be independent and thus equally important. However, in common practice, the attributes of software defect data sets are usually continuous or numeric, and because they are designed for different purposes, their contributions to prediction are different. Therefore, this paper proposes a new NB method called TSWNB, which contains two stages: Feature (i.e. attribute) discretization and feature weighting. More specifically, for the stage of feature discretization, we make the comparison between two discretization methods i.e. equal-width discretization method and equal-frequency discretization method, and identify the most appropriate one. For the stage of feature weighting, we use the feature weighting technique to alleviate the equal importance assumption, which combines the obtained feature weights into the NB formula and its likelihood estimations. To evaluate the proposed method, we carry out experiments on 5 software defect data sets of NASA MDP provided by PROMISE repository. Three well-known classification algorithms and two feature weighting techniques are included for comparison. The experimental results reveal the effectiveness and practicability of the two-stage feature weighting method TSWNB. © 2018 Totem Publishers Ltd. All rights reserved.

Input domain reduction of search-based structural test data generation using interval arithmetic

The size of search space has an impact on the efficiency of test data generation by meta-heuristic algorithms. To enhance the efficiency of test data generation, a method that reduces search space utilizing interval arithmetic is proposed. Firstly, all input variables of the program are presented as interval variables. Then, the interval of each variable is gradually reduced by many constraint conditions in the target path. Finally, meta-heuristic algorithm with reduced search space is carried out to generate test data. Experimental results show the proposed method has advantages in the number of generations, running time, and success rate, which can significantly enhance the efficiency of test data by using meta-heuristic algorithms. © 2018 Totem Publisher, Inc.
