Changes in epidermal thickness are linked to various skin diseases, such as diabetic foot. Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), a noninvasive imaging technology, enables detailed visualization of skin layers. This study employed a deep learning approach using the U-Net architecture to analyze OCT images, specifically focusing on the stratum corneum (SC) and epidermis (ED) layers. Utilizing a dataset of 10,000 images, the U-Net model achieved 92 % accuracy in predicting SC and 95% accuracy for ED. These results highlight the potential of this method for accurate 3D visualization of SC and ED layers, paving the way for precise assessment of skin layer thickness and its changes in medical applications.

In this paper, the influence of sampling intervals on the chattering in sliding mode (SM) control systems is considered. The describing function (DF) approach is employed to analyze the chattering characteristics in the sampling SM control. By the DF calculations and limit cycle existence conditions, an unstable limit cycle and two stable limit cycles are found in the SM control system. The frequencies and amplitudes of the two limit cycles can also be estimated by graphical calculations. The estimation accuracy of chattering parameters is evaluated by the simulations. The results of simulations show that the system could converge to a large and a small limit cycle from different initial conditions.

A kind of alpha-beta search algorithm based on region-divided checkerboard for the game of Amazons was used to improve the efficiency. Hierarchy searching is adopted in this approach. Searching is firstly carried in the divided regions, then the searching result of the whole checkerboard is gotten according to those valued of various regions. The evaluation and integration of divided regions are also adjusted and optimized. In addition, the definition and recognition of divided regions are provided. Furthermore, the feasibility and complexity of the search algorithm are analyzed. Finally the efficiency of the algorithm is proved by experiments data. .

The computer graphics and computer vision communities have been working closely together in recent years and a variety of algorithms and applications have been developed to analyze and manipulate the visual media around us. There are three major driving forces behind this phenomenon: 1) the availability of big data from the Internet has created a demand for dealing with the ever-increasing, vast amount of resources; 2) powerful processing tools, such as deep neural networks, provide effective ways for learning how to deal with heterogeneous visual data; 3) new data capture devices, such as the Kilxect, the bridge betweea algorithms for 2D image understanding and 3D model analysis. These driving forces have emerged only recently, and we believe that the computer graphics and computer vision communities are still in the beginning of their honeymoon phase. In this work we survey recent research on how computer vision techniques benefit computer graphics techniques and vice versa, and cover research on analysis, manipulation, synthesis, and interaction. We also discuss existing problems and suggest possible further research directions.
