In the fields of ant colony optimization (ACO), models of collective intelligence of ants are transformed into useful optimization techniques. A kind of improved ACO (named PMACO) approach for traveling salesman problems (TSP) is presented. Aimed at the disadvantages existed in ACO, several new betterments are proposed and evaluated. In particular, the option that an ant hunts for the next step, the use of a combination of two kinds of pheromone evaluation models, the change of amount in the ant colony during the run of the algorithm, and the mutation of pheromone are studied. We tested ACO algorithm on a set of benchmark problems from the traveling salesman problem library. It performed better than the original and the other improved ACO algorithms

Driver drowsiness electroencephalogram (EEG) signal monitoring can promptly alert drivers of their drowsiness in edge-end Consumer Electronics (CE), thereby reducing the probability of traffic accidents. Graph convolutional networks (GCNs) have shown significant advancements in processing the non-stationary, time-varying, and non-Euclidean nature of EEG signals. However, the existing single-channel EEG adjacency graph construction process lacks interpretability, which hinders the ability of GCNs to effectively extract adjacency graph features, thus affecting the performance of drowsiness monitoring. To address this issue, we propose an edge-end Lightweight Dual Graph Convolutional Network (LDGCN). Specifically, we are the first to incorporate neurophysiological knowledge to design a Baseline Drowsiness Status Adjacency Graph (BDSAG), which characterizes driver drowsiness status. Additionally, to express more features within limited EEG data, we introduce the Augmented Graph-level Module (AGM). This module captures global and local information at the graph level, ensuring that BDSAG features remain intact while enhancing effective feature expression capability. To further enhance the application of CE, we apply Adaptive Pruning Optimization (APO) to the channels and neurons of LDGCN, which nearly halves the inference latency. Experiments on benchmark datasets demonstrate that LDGCN offers the best trade-off between monitoring performance and hardware resource utilization, outperforming existing state-of-the-art algorithms. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

To overcome the limitations of conventional echo state networks (ESN), such as redundant connections and insufficient frequency-domain feature extraction, this paper proposes a frequency-domain feature architecture search-based ESN (FS-ESN). Leveraging a frequency response fitness function, FS-ESN dynamically optimizes reservoir structures and incorporates frequency-domain features aligned with target tasks. Experimental results demonstrate that FS-ESN significantly improves feature extraction, adaptability, and predictive performance, outperforming traditional ESN models in task-specific applications. © 2024 IEEE.

The motors are widely used in industry and play an important role. Their statuses are related to the production and security directly. Wirelessintelligent device is presented for On line diagnosing the complexity of motor faults, and wavelet packet decomposition and the principle of fuzzy are proposed in this paper based on analyzing the motor fault. Proved by experiment that wavelet packet can effectively de-noise and the fuzzy diagnosis principle is taken as basics. It can also be applied to other complex systems fault diagnosis and has certain portability.

In view of the balance control problem of self-balance robot, the reinforcement learning mechanism based on the advanced updating is proposed as a self-balance bionic learning algorithm of the robot. This algorithm can choose optimal behavior above the baseline with the certain probability by using baseline in the advanced updating and unifying the probability curiosity mechanism in reinforcement learning, so that the robot can obtain the bionic self-learning skills like creature under the unknown environment, and realize the bionic self-balance controls of the robot. Finally, the simulation experiment is made. The result indicates that the robot can obtain the stronger self-learning skills about the balance control and the better dynamic performance from this learning algorithm of the reinforcement learning based on the advanced updating and it manifests the bionic characteristic about the advanced updating, and gains the higher research and the application value.

Based on Lyapunov stability theorem, a MRAC system was researched to solve that differential value of plant output is unknown. Meanwhile an improved design for MRAC system aimed on the factor of restricting convergence of system is given. The method not only solves the problem that makes the system cannot work well as a result of the adjustable parameters, but also improves the convergence of plant. The simulation graphs have shown that the plant can follow the output of the reference model quit well © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media.

As we known, It is very important that the checking of crack in the production of continuous casting billet. Usually we use the method of checking the temperature of the crystallizer. But the temperature fluctuation of the crystallizer is hard to be checked when the crack appears, so an appropriate method to deal with this problem must be studied. This paper briefly discusses the picking-up method for those slight signals — —temperature from the thermocouples around the crystallizer that check the temperature fluctuation, because of those slight signals in the crack checking of the continuous casting billet might be submerged in noise entirely. It analyses the difference between the signal and the noise on the time and the statistics, and introduces a kind of effective detecting method, applying the correlation function to pick up the slight signal submerged in noise entirely.

In the traditional motor fault diagnosis, only a certain type of motor fault diagnosis was diagnosed. The less amount of information leads to diagnostic conclusions unreliable. In this article, a new fault diagnosis method was put forward. Information fusion technology, stator current and rotor vibration signals as a diagnostic characteristics input signal were introduced into the motor fault diagnosis. Neural network method was applied to the fault identification. In order to improve the diagnostic precision, the input signs were divided into the stator current signal related and the rotor vibration signal related They separately adopt a diagnosis subnetwork to complete different aspects of fault diagnosis. Finally, each sub-network diagnostic results information fusion were carried out and the final diagnosis results were got The simulation of the diagnostic method showed that it is feasible that the neural network data fusion applied to the motor fault diagnosis.

Interference between the rules is an important index of the static features of a fuzzy controller. The traditional calculation of the interference density is based on fuzzy mathematics, which is not easy to put it into use because of its intricacy. The feasibility of calculating interference density by relative Euclidean distance is discussed with the help of tests in the article. The tests show that the method is feasible to some extent.

According to the characteristics and the process conditions of continuous reheating furnace, a scheme is discussed which combines detection data belonging to pull steel rate P, discharging steel billet surface temperature and residual oxygen in flue gas with furnace combustion process control. Actual application shows that this method is feasible and significantly meaningful to reduce the loss of billet and oil consumption, improve yield and reduce environmental pollution and so on.
