Oral cancer remains a critical global health challenge, characterized by high morbidity and mortality due to late-stage diagnosis. This paper addresses the need for improved diagnostic accuracy by introducing a novel hybrid-attention aided deep learning model for oral cancer classification. Our approach integrates the EfficientNetB0 model for feature extraction with a customized hybrid attention module, combining self, spatial, and soft attention mechanisms to emphasize crucial features. The model has been trained and evaluated on both microscopic and macroscopic oral cancer datasets, demonstrating its generalizability. Our proposed model achieves an accuracy of 96.97% on a macroscopic dataset and 92% on a microscopic dataset, with respective F1-scores of 0.97 and 0.89, outperforming baseline models. This hybrid attention-aided deep learning model shows significant potential in improving early detection and treatment planning of oral cancer. Image segmentation plays a critical role in computer-aided diagnosis and treatment planning for cervical cancer. Obtaining a large number of labeled images for supervised cervical segmentation is often labor-intensive and time-consuming. In this paper, we propose a multi-stage semi-supervised learning framework (Semi-CervixSeg) to address the cervical seg-mentation task in ultrasound images for Fetal Ultrasound Grand Challenge: Semi-Supervised Cervical Segmentation in ISBI 2025. Specifically, in the initial stage, we utilize unlabeled data through a multi-view random augmentation strategy, using consistency constraints and a contrastive learning method. Subsequently, a progressive multi-stage training strategy is adopted to generate and optimize pseudo-labels, further improving segmentation results. Experimental re-sults demonstrate that the proposed method significantly im-proves segmentation performance compared with supervised methods. As a technical report for the challenge, this paper elaborates on our methodology and experimental findings in detail. Sea ice poses a significant hazard to vessels navigating in high-latitude maritime regions. To effectively prevent the collision between ships and large sea ice (such as icebergs) and other similar accidents, it is crucial to identify sea ice and its types in a timely and accurate manner. However, traditional sea ice identification techniques, such as optical and radar remote sensing, are often limited by visibility conditions, suffering from poor accuracy, high measurement costs, and low identification efficiency. This paper proposes a sea ice identification method based on a vibration sensor network, combined with the PCA-BPMIV-GRU strategy, which achieves low cost, high efficiency, and high accuracy in sea ice type detection. Firstly, a cost-effective MEMS vibration sensor network is deployed to capture vibration information of sea ice. The data collected from six sensors at different locations at the same time are treated as independent samples to construct a dataset, which contains time-frequency domain characteristic data of three sea-ice types: broken ice, flat ice, and open water. Secondly, the dimension reduction and feature optimization of vibration data were carried out by combining Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and the improved Mean Influence Value Optimization algorithm (BPMIV). This integration of unsupervised and supervised algorithms effectively eliminated unnecessary feature information, significantly improving model identification efficiency. Finally, seven commonly used classification algorithms are compared for the identification of three types of sea ice, evaluating their identification accuracy and efficiency under different dimensionality reduction methods. The results confirm that the Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) model achieves the best comprehensive performance. This paper addresses the consensus control problem for incommensurate fractional-order multi-agent power systems vulnerable to sensor deception attacks within their communication networks. To overcome this problem, an adaptive Radial Basis Function neural network (RBFNN) state observer is employed to estimate the system uncertainties in the presence of malicious attacks. Additionally, a compensation mechanism is implemented to mitigate the effects of unknown time-varying gains in the system output induced by deception attacks. Within the adaptive backstepping framework, the proposed control strategy ensures that all system signals remain bounded while enabling all followers to achieve consensus with the leader's trajectory. The effectiveness of the proposed control approach is further validated through MATLAB simulations, demonstrating its ability to enhance stability and reliability in power systems. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd

Generalized zero-shot learning (GZSL) is focused on recognizing classes, both seen and unseen, without the need for labeled data specifically for the unseen classes. GZSL has attracted much attention by transforming the traditional GZSL into a fully supervised learning task. Most GZSL methods use a single semantic attribute (each category can only correspond to a specific semantic attribute) plus Gaussian noise to generate visual features, assuming a one-to-one correspondence between these visual features and single semantic attributes. However, in practice, there may be cases of attribute missingness in images, leading to visual features that lack certain attributes, thus failing to achieve a good mapping between semantic attributes and visual features. Therefore, visual features of the same class should have diverse semantic attributes. To address this issue, we propose a new method for enhancing semantic attributes called “Interpolated Semantic Attribute Enhancement for Generalized Zero-Shot Learning (ISAE-GZSL).” This method uses interpolation to deal with the problem of semantic attribute missingness in real-world situations, thereby enhancing semantic diversity and generating more realistic and diverse visual features. We assess the performance of the proposed model across four benchmark datasets, and the findings demonstrate substantial enhancements over current state-of-the-art methods, especially in handling categories with severe attribute missingness in the datasets. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Research on the Assessment of Dairy Cow Dry Matter Intake Using Itso-Optimizedstacking Ensemble Learning

Dry matter intake (DMI) in dairy cows is a critical indicator of nutrient intake from feed, serving as the cornerstone of precision feeding practices, playing a critical role in improving production efficiency and enhancing the quality of dairy products. To address the high costs of traditional measurement methods and the structural complexity and large parameter counts of neural network models, this study proposes a Stacking ensemble learning model to assess DMI, with model parameters optimized using the Tuna Swarm Optimization (TSO) algorithm to enhance assessment accuracy, taking cow body weight, lying duration, lying times, rumination duration, foraging duration, walking steps, and the concentrate-to-roughage feed ratio as input variables. To further improve TSO's search efficiency and spatial exploration, this study introduces Sine-Logistic chaotic mapping, Levy flight, and Gaussian random walk strategy to optimize the TSO algorithm, developing the improved Tuna Swarm Optimization (ITSO). ITSO-optimized Stacking model achieved superior performance in DMI assessment, with an accuracy of 95.84%, significantly outperforming SVR, RF, DT, GBR, ETR, and AdaBoost models. This study provides a robust tool for precision feeding, contributing to optimizing cow feeding strategies, improving farm efficiency, and supporting sustainable dairy farming practices. © 2025, The Authors. Learning disruptor-aware channel selection and reliability with target regularization for robust visual tracking

Visual tracking is a complex and crucial problem in computer vision with numerous real-world applications, including surveillance, autonomous vehicles, and augmented reality. To tackle the challenges associated with tracking performance, this paper presents Learning Disruptor-Aware Channel Selection and Reliability with Target Regularization (DACSR). First, DACSR enhances tracking robustness in challenging scenarios by adaptively selecting visual channels based on their resistance to disruptions through an intelligent disruption-aware channel selection mechanism. Second, it improves predictive accuracy and reliability by integrating a channel stability-aware normalization method, which highlights stable channels while suppressing misleading ones during optimization. Third, this study incorporates target regularization techniques using deep neural networks to capture target-specific characteristics beyond spatial considerations, further refining the tracking process. By leveraging the representational power of deep neural networks, DACSR effectively models complex target attributes, leading to improved tracking accuracy. Finally, we validate the efficiency and robustness of the proposed method through extensive experiments on benchmark datasets, demonstrating its superior performance over existing approaches in challenging tracking scenarios.

This paper investigates the problems of invariant set analysis and control synthesis for multi-equilibrium switched systems under control constraints. A control strategy based on the invariant set method is proposed, accompanied by criteria formulated as linear matrix inequalities, ensuring that the state remains within the mode-dependent invariant sets. Furthermore, considering the control constraints in practical scenarios, a multi-equilibrium switched controller with control constraints (MESCC controller) is designed. Compared to existing works, the proposed method incorporates mode-dependent dwell time conditions and mode-dependent invariant sets, thereby offering enhanced design flexibility. An example of an aero-engine control system is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and potential of the theoretical results.

The adoption of agricultural robots, or agrobots, has revolutionized modern farming operations, ranging from crop monitoring to automated harvesting, significantly boosting productivity. Motivated by the rapid advancements in agrobots and their integration into smart agricultural practices, this study proposes an autonomous trajectory tracking system for wheat farms using quadcopter UAVs. To address actuator fault detection, including stuck faults and partial loss of efficiency, a TSF-H∞-SMO (Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy-based H∞ Sliding Mode Observer) fault detection framework is introduced. The approach initiates with the derivation of a TSF (Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy) attitude control model that integrates an uncertainty term, constructed from the original nonlinear dynamics of the UAV and approximated through local linear models at four equilibrium positions. An actuator fault model is subsequently integrated to develop a comprehensive TSF-UAV model, accounting for actuator faults. The TSF-H∞-SMO is then designed using matrix coordinate transformation to enable precise fault detection. The fault detection capabilities of the TSF-H∞-SMO are evaluated through simulations on the TSF-UAV model under SISO (single-input single-output) actuator fault scenarios. The experimental results validate the proposed system, demonstrating its ability to detect a range of actuator faults accurately and promptly. The analysis reveals a proportional relationship between the amplitude of the state change and the severity of the fault, attributed to the interaction between system states and actuator flaps. This approach underscores the potential for deploying autonomous UAV-based fault detection and trajectory tracking systems in agricultural applications. Furthermore, integrating such advanced fault-tolerant control algorithms holds promise for consumer technology applications, where precision, reliability, and robustness are critical to enhancing system performance and operational efficiency. © 1

Game theory-based models and design tools have gained substantial prominence for controlling and optimizing behavior within distributed engineering systems due to the inherent distribution of decisions among individuals. In non-cooperative settings, aggregative games serve as a mathematical framework model for the interdependent optimal decision-making problem among a group of non-cooperative players. In such scenarios, each player's decision is influenced by an aggregation of all players' decisions. Nash equilibrium (NE) seeking in aggregative games has emerged as a vibrant topic driven by applications that harness the aggregation property. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the current research on aggregative games with a focus on communication topology. A systematic classification is conducted on distributed algorithm research based on communication topologies such as undirected networks, directed networks, and time-varying networks. Furthermore, it sorts out the challenges and compares the algorithms' convergence performance. It also delves into real-world applications of distributed optimization techniques grounded in aggregative games.
