Efficient High-Precision Classification Algorithm for Radar Deceptive Jamming via Array Detection

In complex electromagnetic scenarios where multiple deceptive jamming signals are simultaneously aliased in the time frequency domain, conventional single-channel electronic detection systems struggle to effectively separate and classify overlapping jamming sources. To address this limitation, this paper investigates an array detection-based classification scheme for multi-source jamming. First, due to the spatial degrees of freedom offered by array systems, the Direction-of-Arrival (DOA) of each jamming source is precisely estimated using the MUSIC algorithm. Then, the adaptive digital beamforming (ADBF) filters are designed based on the estimated DOAparameters, enabling spatial-domain extraction of individual jamming signals. Finally, the DOA information is integrated into the Pulse Description Word (PDW) of each separated jamming measurement, which can facilitate adaptive K-Means clustering with enhanced class separability. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a 22.4% improvement in classification accuracy compared to existing single-channel detection approaches, while maintaining computational efficiency. © 2025, Electromagnetics Academy. Clustering ensemble is a popular approach for identifying data clusters that combines the clustering results from multiple base clustering algorithms to produce more accurate and robust data clusters. However, the performance of clustering ensemble algorithms is highly dependent on the quality of clustering members. To address this problem, this paper proposes a member enhancement-based clustering ensemble (MECE) algorithm that selects the ensemble members by considering their distribution consistency. MECE has two main components, called heterocluster splitting and homocluster merging. The first component estimates two probability density functions (p.d.f.s) estimated on the sample points of an heterocluster and represents them using a Gaussian distribution and a Gaussian mixture model. If the random numbers generated by these two p.d.f.s have different probability distributions, the heterocluster is then split into smaller clusters. The second component merges the clusters that have high neighborhood densities into a homocluster, where the neighborhood density is measured using a novel evaluation criterion. In addition, a co-association matrix is presented, which serves as a summary for the ensemble of diverse clusters. A series of experiments were conducted to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed ensemble member generation algorithm. Results show that the proposed MECE algorithm can select high quality ensemble members and as a result yield the better clusterings than six state-of-the-art ensemble clustering algorithms, that is, cluster-based similarity partitioning algorithm (CSPA), meta-clustering algorithm (MCLA), hybrid bipartite graph formulation (HBGF), evidence accumulation clustering (EAC), locally weighted evidence accumulation (LWEA), and locally weighted graph partition (LWGP). Specifically, MECE algorithm has the nearly 23% higher average NMI, 27% higher average ARI, 15% higher average FMI, and 10% higher average purity than CSPA

Hyperspectral is a well-established form of data in the medical field and plays an irreplaceable role, reflecting not only the size, shape and structure of the target pathological areas, but also the differences in spectral between the chemical composition of the targets. Therefore, hyperspectral image(HSI) can provide more abundant information for medical practitioners when performing pathology analysis. In recent years, while two powerful representational learning methods, which have been fully developed in the long term in deep learning, namely convolution and attention mechanism, have both made significant contributions to the pathological analysis of hyperspectral medical images. However, they have also revealed respective shortcomings in previous works, such as insufficient support of the biological basis of convolution and its weak ability to capture global information, the insufficient ability of attention mechanism to acquire spatial texture features, and both have over-reliance on sample quantity as well as quality. Therefore, this article proposes a Mixed Convolution-Attention-Residual(MCAR) model and a corresponding MCARNet network for the HSI classification task of cholangiocarcinoma by effectively combining multi-branch convolution, attention mechanism and residual structure. We also effectively validate that the proposed model can perform better in the task by parallel extraction of global with local features as well as the construction of residual structure under the condition of few training samples. © 2023 ACM.

Research of news text classification method based on hierarchical semantics and prior correction

News text is an important branch of natural language processing. Compared to ordinary texts, news text has significant economic and scientific value. The characteristics of news text include structural hierarchy, diverse label categories, and limited high-quality annotation samples. Many machine learning and deep learning methods exist to analyze various forms of news text. However, due to label imbalance, hierarchical semantics, and confusing labels, current methods have limitations. Therefore, this paper proposes a news text classification framework based on hierarchical semantics and prior correction (HSPC). Firstly, data augmentation is used to enhance the diversity of the training set and adversarial learning is employed to improve the resistance of the model with its robustness. Then, a hierarchical feature extraction approach is employed to extract semantic features from different levels of news texts. Consequentially, a feature fusion method is designed to allow the model to focus on relevant hierarchical semantics for label classification. Finally, highly confusing label predictions are corrected to optimize the label prediction of the model and improve confidence. Multiple experiments are performed on four widely used public datasets. The experimental results indicate that HSPC achieves higher classification accuracy compared to other models. On the FCT, AGNews, THUCNews, and Ohsumed datasets, HSPC improves the accuracy by 1.03%, 1.38%, 2.55%, and 1.15%, respectively, compared to state-of-the-art methods. This validates the rationality and effectiveness of the designed mechanisms. © 2024 - The authors. Published by IOS Press.

Mobile edge caching (MEC) allows edge devices to cache popular contents and deliver them to end-users directly, which can effectively alleviate increasing backbone loads and improve end-users' quality of service. Peer content sharing (PCS) enables edge devices to share the cached contents with others, and can further increase the caching efficiency. While many efforts have been made to content caching or sharing technologies, it remains open to study the complicated technical and economic interplay between both technologies. In this paper, we propose a joint MEC-PCS framework, and focus on capturing the strategic interactions between different types of edge devices. Specifically, we model their interactions as a non-cooperative game, where each device (player) can choose to be an agent (who caches and shares contents with others) or a requester (who doesn't cache but requests contents from others) of each content. We analyze the existence and uniqueness of the game equilibrium systematically under the generic usage-based pricing (for PCS). To address the incomplete information issue, we further design a behavior rule that allows players to achieve the equilibrium via a dynamic learning algorithm. Simulations show that the joint MEC-PCS framework can reduce the total system cost by 60%, compared with the benchmark pure caching system without PCS. © 2023 IEEE.

Traditional autonomous navigation methods for mobile robots mainly rely on geometric feature-based LiDAR scan-matching algorithms, but in complex environments, this method is often affected due to the presence of moving objects, occlusions, and other interfering factors, resulting in a decrease in positioning accuracy. With the growing demand for robotics applications in logistics, security, exploration and other fields, the need for robust autonomous navigation and high-precision mapping in highly dynamic and complex environments is becoming more and more urgent. To solve this problem, an improved front-end scan matching algorithm based on Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) LiDAR is proposed in this paper. Firstly, by using the target Doppler velocity information provided by the FMCW LiDAR, we design a novel point cloud segmentation algorithm based on velocity clustering, which is able to effectively distinguish between stationary and moving objects, and avoid the dynamic interference affecting the position estimation. Secondly, we introduce the Gaussian Mixture Model Sampling Consistency (GMMSC) algorithm, which is more robust to reject the mis-matched pairs in the scanning matching process and improve the alignment accuracy. Finally, based on the residual high-quality matched pairs, we combine the classical ICP algorithm with the robust kernel function to further enhance the stability of the position estimation in the case of occlusion and local mismatch. The experimental results show that the proposed improved algorithm significantly improves the mapping capability of mobile robots in complex environments compared with the existing techniques. The average relative error of the improved front-end scanning matching algorithm is reduced by 40.6 % compared with the pre-improved one. © 2025, Taiwan Ubiquitous Information CO LTD. This paper proposes a new on-demand wireless energy transfer (WET) scheme of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Unlike the existing studies that simply pursuing the total or the minimum harvested energy maximization at the Internet of Things (IoT) devices, where the IoT devices’ own energy requirements are barely considered, we propose a new metric called the hungry-level of energy (HoE), which reflects the time-varying energy demand of each IoT device based on the energy gap between its required energy and the harvested energy from the UAVs. With the purpose to minimize the overall HoE of the IoT devices whose energy requirements are not satisfied, we optimally determine all the UAVs’ trajectories and WET decisions over time, under the practical mobility and energy constraints of the UAVs. Although the proposed problem is of high complexity to solve, by excavating the UAVs’ self-attentions for their collaborative WET, we propose the multi-agent graph reinforcement learning (MAGRL) based approach. Through the offline training of the MAGRL model, where the global training at the central controller guides the local training at each UAV agent, each UAV then distributively determines its trajectory and WET based on the well-trained local neural networks. Simulation results show that the proposed MAGRL-based approach outperforms various benchmarks for meeting the IoT devices’ energy requirements. © 2023 IFIP.

PDIFT++: System-Wide Memory Tracking Using a Single-Process Memory Tracker

Information-flow tracking is useful for preventing malicious code execution and sensitive information leakage. Unfortunately, the performance penalty of the currently available solutions is too high for real-world applications. This paper presents PDIFT++, a hybrid system-wide dynamic information-flow tracker. PDIFT++ uses a hypervisor for coarse memory tracking and an emulator for fine memory tracking. The switching between the two modes allows PDIFT++ to achieve high performance without compromising the memory tracking precision. In addition, PDIFT++ provides system-wide tracking by monitoring system calls that can transmit information between two processes and between a process and a file system. The results show that PDIFT++ induces a performance penalty of 26% on average. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
