Multi-criteria decision making(MCDM)is a technique used to achieve better outcomes for some complex business-related problems,whereby the selection of the best alternative can be made in as many cases as *** paper proposes a model,the multi-criteria decision support method,that allows both service providers and consumers to maximize their profits while preserving the best matching process for resource allocation and task *** increasing number of service providers with different service provision capabilities creates an issue for consumers seeking to select the best service *** consumer seeks a service provider based on various preferences,such as price,service quality,and time to complete the *** the literature,the problem is viewed from different perspectives,such as investigating how to enhance task scheduling and the resource allocation process,improve consumers’trust,and deal with network *** paper offers a novel model that considers the preferences of both service providers and consumers to find the best available service provider for each ***,the model adopts the best-worst method(BWM)to gather and prioritize tasks based on consumers’and service providers’***,the model calculates and matches similarities between the sets of tasks from the consumer’s side with the sets of tasks from the provider’s side to select the best service provider for each consumer using the two proposed *** complexity of the two algorithms is found to be O(n3).

Reducing peak to average power ratio in optical NOMA based 5G system using advanced SLM method

One of the most critical challenges in optical fiber communication systems using non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) techniques is reducing the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). Optical NOMA often leads to high PAPR, causing non-linear distortion and limiting the system’s gain. The advanced Selected Mapping (SLM) algorithm is introduced in this work to reduce the PAPR of the O-NOMA. In conventional SLM, multiple phase sequences are applied to the input data, which requires numerous Inverse Fast Fourier Transform, increasing computational complexity. The proposed approach simplifies this by selecting a central reference phase sequence, reducing the number of candidate sequences and the number of IFFT operations required. This reduction in complexity does not significantly compromise the PAPR reduction capability, making the method more efficient. The SLM algorithm addresses this issue by applying the phase rotation factor to the transmitted signals, redistributing the power, and reducing the peak levels. This article highlights the benefits and challenges of implementing SLM in optical NOMA systems, including its compatibility with existing NOMA schemes. Matlab 2016 analyzes parameters such as bit error rate (BER), PAPR, and out-of-band radiation. A 66% PAPR reduction can be obtained using the suggested SLM with various phase variables. Furthermore, there is a −2650 reduction in spectrum leakage. The simulation outcomes of the work reveal the potential of SLM to reduce PAPR and enhance the BER and PSD performance of optical NOMA compared with the existing algorithms. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

The rapidly evolving healthcare domain and the rise of telemedicine and remote diagnostic techniques underscore the critical demand for secure, authentic, and reliable medical imaging solutions. This study introduces an innovative digital watermarking method designed to safeguard medical images against unauthorized alterations, employing biometric data - specifically, palmprints - as the watermark. Utilizing Local Binary Patterns (LBP) for feature extraction and combining Arnold Cat Map (ACM) with Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) for image processing, this research implements a novel embedding strategy based on a 2 Least Significant Bits (2LSB) mechanism, facilitating a blind watermarking approach. The efficacy of the proposed method is validated through exceptional Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Structural Similarity Index (SSIM) metrics, achieving values of 51.21675 dB and 0.9999, respectively. These metrics provide substantial evidence of the technique's imperceptibility and robustness, employing state-of-the-art methodologies. The findings of this paper offer a compelling solution for enhancing the security of medical imagery within the telemedicine sector, promoting data integrity and supporting the verification and authentication processes. © 2024 IEEE.

Many people have chosen to use online-based shopping, which is easy, fast and more accessible to different types of products and services. Some of the popular e-commerce websites nowadays are Shopee, Lazada, eBay, Amazon and Alibaba. These websites serve as a good platform for people to find different kinds of products and services around the world. Most users are younger, ranging in age from 13 to 25 years old. However, some older people love to shop online. Most of them lack exposure to and education on how to tell the difference between a scam and a legitimate website. It is also one of humans' weaknesses to detect and identify a scam website if it looks the same as a legitimate website. Furthermore, there are numerous reports of scam attacks that result in significant financial losses each year. Scammers may target not just an individual but also a company. At times, the situation can worsen, potentially posing a threat to our families and lives. This study has proposed a web-based scam detector as a solution to verify the legitimacy of an e-commerce website. This prototype uses the Random Forest model as a classifier to detect scams. This is due to the good performance and high accuracy of detection compared to the other algorithms such as Decision Tree, Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine. The Random Forest model achieved 93% accuracy of detection and it is good enough to deploy on the real prototype. Additionally, this website offers guidance on identifying scam websites and the tactics they typically employ to lure victims. © 2024 IEEE.

The diagnosis of stomach cancer automatically in digital pathology images is a difficult problem. Gastric cancer (GC) detection and pathological study can be greatly aided by precise region-by-region segmentation. On a technical level, this issue is complicated by the fact that malignant zones might be any size or shape and have fuzzy boundaries. The research employs a deep learning-based approach and integrates many bespoke modules to cope with these issues. The channel refinement model is the attentional actor on the chin channel. While implementing the feature channel, the learnt channel weight can be used to eliminate unnecessary features. Calibration is essential to improve classification precision. The results of channel recalibration can be improved with the help of a re-calibration (MSCR) model. The top pooling layer of the network is where the multiscale attributes are sent. The outcomes of channel recalibration may be enhanced by using the channel weights found at various scales as input to the next channel recalibration perfect. Our unique gastric cancer segmentation dataset, carefully glossed down to the pixel level by medical authorities, is used for extensive experimental comparisons. Cyberbullying is a form of harassment or bullying that takes place online or through digital devices like smartphones,computers,or *** can occur through various channels,such as social media,text messages,online forums,or gaming *** involves using technology to intentionally harm,harass,or intimidate others and may take different forms,including exclusion,doxing,impersonation,harassment,and ***,due to the rapid growth of malicious internet users,this social phenomenon is becoming more frequent,and there is a huge need to address this ***,the main goal of the research proposed in this manuscript is to tackle this emerging challenge.A dataset of sexist harassment on Twitter,containing tweets about the harassment of people on a sexual basis,for natural language processing(NLP),is used for this *** algorithms are used to transform the text into a meaningful representation of numbers for machine learning(ML)input:Term frequency inverse document frequency(TF-IDF)and Bidirectional encoder representations from transformers(BERT).The well-known eXtreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)ML model is employed to classify whether certain tweets fall into the category of sexual-based harassment or ***,with the goal of reaching better performance,several XGBoost models were devised conducting hyperparameter tuning by *** this purpose,the recently emerging Coyote optimization algorithm(COA)was modified and adjusted to optimize the XGBoost ***,other cutting-edge metaheuristics approach for this challenge were also implemented,and rigid comparative analysis of the captured classification metrics(accuracy,Cohen kappa score,precision,recall,and F1-score)was ***,the best-generated model was interpreted by Shapley additive explanations(SHAP),and useful insights were gained about the behavioral patterns of people who perform social harassment.

Quantum computing is progressing at a fast rate and there is a real threat that classical cryptographic methods can be compromised and therefore impact the security of blockchain networks. All of the ways used to secure blockchain like Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA), Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit (SHA256) are the characteristic of the traditional cryptographic techniques vulnerable to attack by quantum algorithms: Shor’s and Grover’s algorithms: can efficiently break asymmetric encryption and speed up brute force attacks. Because of this vulnerability, there exists a need to develop an advance quantum resilient blockchain framework to protect the decentralized ledgers from the future threats of the quantum. This research proposes Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) as a formidable architectural integration, to fortify security of blockchain. Classical encryption is replaced with PQC, QKD with secure key exchange by detecting eavesdropping, and QRNG with improving cryptographic randomness to remove the predictable key vulnerability. Only with a small loss of transaction efficiency, we increase transaction encryption accuracy, key exchange security, and resistance to quantum attacks. In this quantum enhanced blockchain design, the idea is to preserve the decentralization, transparency and security and at the same time overcome the future quantum threat. By going through rigorous analysis and comparative evaluation, we demonstrate that the approach saves blockchain networks from the emerging quantum risks to make sure that the decentralized finance, smart contracts and cross chain transactions. © (2025), (Science and Information Organization). Adjusting Logit in Gaussian Form for Long-Tailed Visual Recognition

It is not uncommon that real-world data are distributed with a long tail. For such data, the learning of deep neural networks becomes challenging because it is hard to classify tail classes correctly. In the literature, several existing methods have addressed this problem by reducing classifier bias, provided that the features obtained with long-tailed data are representative enough. However, we find that training directly on long-tailed data leads to uneven embedding space. That is, the embedding space of head classes severely compresses that of tail classes, which is not conducive to subsequent classifier learning. This article therefore studies the problem of long-tailed visual recognition from the perspective of feature level. We introduce feature augmentation to balance the embedding distribution. The features of different classes are perturbed with varying amplitudes in Gaussian form. Based on these perturbed features, two novel logit adjustment methods are proposed to improve model performance at a modest computational overhead. Subsequently, the distorted embedding spaces of all classes can be calibrated. In such balanced-distributed embedding spaces, the biased classifier can be eliminated by simply retraining the classifier with class-balanced sampling data. Extensive experiments conducted on benchmark datasets demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed method over the state-of-the-art ones. © 2020 IEEE.
