People must stay home during pandemics because physical life stops. Pandemic dread closes schools nationwide, hurting students academically. If so, educating kids properly to avoid academic issues is difficult. During the COVID-19 epidemic, schools provided pupils with online instruction. Career and academic tenure were unaffected. This runs counter to what happened during various pandemics throughout history when school years were lost due to widespread illness. Human-computer interface (HCI) technology advancements have made this all feasible. Interference. Many schools made substantial efforts to adapt to the modern teaching paradigm, yet they still ranked poorly internationally in at least one crucial area. As a result, they're worldwide standing took a dramatic nosedive, which will take a lot of time and work to recover from. This study highlights why certain top universities fell in the worldwide rankings during global disruption, such as the recent COVID-19 epidemic, and what may be done to reverse this trend. Potential future pandemics. The unique methodology provided in this paper aids academics in anticipating the influence of epidemics on their overall worldwide rankings, allowing them to make timely recovery choices and strategies. The task is to build a model using sophisticated Machine Learning techniques, with a massive ranking dataset as input. © 2023 IEEE.

The social networks and news ecosystem provide valuable social information, however, the rise of deceptive content such as fake news generated by social media users, poses an increasing threat to the propagation and diffusion of fake news over the social network and among users. Low-quality news and misinformation spread on social media had negative impacts on individuals and society. Hence, it is essential to detect fake news to ensure the spread of accurate and truthful information. To address this problem, a new approach using Binary Bat Algorithm (BBA) for fake news detection (FND) on Twitter data is proposed in this paper. Twitter data usually generates massive feature space which might consist of irrelevant features that could jeopardize the subsequent process. The proposed FND approach involves four stages, namely data collection, pre-processing, feature extraction, and fake news detection. The proposed techniques are tested on PHEME dataset, and the experimental results are measured in term average of Precision (PR), Recall (R), F-measure (F), and Accuracy (ACC). The experimental results show that the BBA algorithm has outperformed the Social Spider Optimization (SSO) algorithm. Thus, BBA is a promising solution for solving high-dimensionality feature space in fake news Twitter data. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In the burgeoning landscape of the Internet of Things (IoT), ensuring the integrity and security of embedded devices is paramount. With the increasing frequency of cyberattacks targeting these typically low-powered devices, there is an urgent need for improved defensive infrastructure. Traditional malware detection methods such as signature-based, heuristic-based, and specification-based techniques are hampered by limitations in scanning speed, microprocessor capabilities, and energy efficiency. These classical approaches encompassing static, dynamic, and hybrid analyses struggle to keep pace with the demands of modern resource-constrained IoT devices. Addressing these challenges, this article introduces 'Quantum Guard,' a trans-formative quantum-based malware detection framework that utilizes a hybrid approach. Here, the IoT device handles initial data probing by inspecting potential threats, while the quantum processor runs Grover's algorithm with a quantum oracle for intensive search tasks to accurately identify and mark specific malware classes. This innovative approach significantly enhances the speed and efficiency of malware detection across diverse types by employing quantum superposition to enable simultaneous scanning of multiple memory locations. The integration of a quantum oracle facilitates precise targeting of malware signatures, while the amplitude amplification algorithm improves the probability of detecting and accurately classifying signatures within unstructured datasets. Performance analysis shows that 'Quantum Guard' significantly outperforms traditional methods, offering a scalable and efficient solution with a space complexity of O(log N) and a time complexity of O(VN). Colon neoplasms are the second leading cause of mortality worldwide, and despite advances in endoscopy, even experienced endoscopists miss 22-28% of cases. Intelligent systems can bridge this gap, but current approaches face significant challenges. For instance, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) excel in image recognition but require large datasets, which are often scarce in healthcare. On the other hand, Capsule Networks, suitable for smaller datasets, struggle with complex images. To address these limitations, we propose a novel contrast-aware Capsule Network for colon neoplasm recognition. By incorporating a novel contrast-aware feature transformation algorithm, our proposed model enhances extracted features and focuses on processing relevant features, achieving remarkable recognition accuracies of 96.70%, 93.68%, and 99.99% on PolyGen, ETIS-Larib, and CVC-ClinicDB datasets, respectively. Our approach outperforms state-of-the-art Capsule Network algorithms and offers a promising solution to support endoscopists in accurate colon neoplasm detection, reducing the burden of image analysis and improving patient outcomes. © 2024 IEEE.

Application of hybrid capsule network model for malaria parasite detection on microscopic blood smear images

Today, malaria is a dangerous disease caused by Plasmodium parasites and transmitted by the bite of Anopheles mosquitoes. It is estimated that more than 200,000 cases of malaria will occur every day worldwide, and more than 400,000 people will die from malaria. Early diagnosis of malaria is important to mitigate the morbidity and mortality of the disease. In this paper, a fully trained capsule neural network combined with a convolutional neural network model is proposed for malaria detection from blood smear microscopic images. In malaria diagnosis, the hybrid CapsNet model can detect malaria in blood samples. The hybrid model is optimized based on malaria data in microscopic images of infected and uninfected blood. Images are processed and enhanced through rotation before being fed into the hybrid CapsNet model. The CapsNet hybrid model is examined for malaria data with a learning rate of 0.07 and a batch size of 20. Hybrid CapsNet model shows improved results in detecting malaria from microscopic images measured against the currently available standard malaria test. Constraints like malaria parasite detection rate, accuracy, F1 index and blood smear classification is used to gauge the attainment of the hybrid CapsNet model. Detection rate of 99%, accuracy of 99.08% and FAR of 0.97% is attained by the hybrid CapsNet model as contrary to the traditional state-of-the-art model, the DSCN-Net, where the detection rate was 98%, the accuracy was 97.2%, and the FAR was 0.99%. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

In IoT systems managing multiple devices simultaneously, errors in system controllers often undermine intended operations. Formal verification offers a method to assess system reliability. Colored Generalized Stochastic Petri Net (CGSPN), a formal language, facilitate correctness checks of such systems. This study proposes a verification approach by translating a C++-based system controller of a self-service machine into a CGSPN models and validating it using the Snoopy Tool. Mapping techniques employed to transform components in the controller into CGSPN models are provided. Results demonstrate the method's efficacy in verifying system safety properties, simulating system events, and enabling quantitative verification. © 2024 IEEE.

This research highlights the importance of standards and interoperability in the IoT. An essential component of IoT ecosystems is interoperability, which refers to the ability for various systems and devices to converse and share data. Formats for data, methods of communication, and safeguards are all outlined by standards. Widespread adoption and scalability are made possible through interoperability and standards, which allow devices from many manufacturers to communicate with one another. This research investigates the alliances, regulatory authorities, and commercial associations that cooperate in the creation and advancement of open standards that can be embraced by other entities. The main objective of the research is to showcase the construction of an Internet of Things device capable of communicating with various embedded peripheral protocols utilizing Plug and Play (PnP) technology. Moreover, the research examines the impact of regulatory frameworks on the IoT ecosystem and their role in fostering interoperability. An IoT ecosystem necessitates a standardized and open environment to provide optimal performance in terms of connectivity, data exchange, and innovation. This research contributes to the progress of harmonizing and achieving interoperability among World Wide Web Things. © 2024 IEEE.

AI-powered educational technologies are emerging as transformative forces in the quickly changing field of education, where innovation is essential to keeping ahead of the competition. Assessments are one area that is undergoing revolutionary transformation. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is redefining the way we evaluate learning outcomes as traditional evaluation approaches struggle to keep up with the demands of the digital age. The field of artificial intelligence-powered learning assessments has a lot of promising future developments ahead of it. This research proposes novel technique in assessment and evaluation based on online education system using Artificial intelligence in machine learning techniques. Here, the input has been analysed as student performance data based on online education and processed for removing of missing values with noise removal. Then this data has been analysed using spatio LSTM convolutional fuzzy neural network for classification of evaluation and assessment model. the experimental analysis has been carried out for various student performance analysis dataset in terms of training accuracy, average precision, specificity, F-measure and recall. Proposed method training accuracy 97%, Average precision 94%, F-measure 90%, RECALL 93%, SPECIFICITY 96%. © 2024 IEEE.
