Flexible CZTSSe solar cells with 11.21% efficiency enabled by O-doped CZTSSe/CdS heterojunction

High performances of Cu2ZnSn（S,Se）4（CZTSSe） solar cells are heavily influenced by the quality of ***,an oxygen（O） doping of CZTSSe/CdS heterojunction is performed to suppress the formation of the defects by an ultraviolet ozone（UV-O3） treatment for the efficient flexible CZTSSe solar *** introduction of O reduces the non-radiative recombination and increases the carrier concentration of the CdS ***,the defect density of the CdS film has been reduced from 8.24×1016to2.91×1016cm-3by the *** results indicate that the electron transport is effectively promoted due to the decreased conduction band offset（CBO） at the heterojunction *** a result,the champion flexible CZTSSe solar cell achieves a power conversion efficiency（PCE） of 11.21%,with a significantly improved short circuit current *** study for improving the CZTSSe/CdS heterojunction through O-doping treatment provides a new insight for enhancing the PCE of the flexible CZTSSe solar cells.

The unstable zinc anode/electrolyte interface induced by corrosion,interfacial water splitting reaction,and dendrite growth seriously degrades the performances of metal Zn anode in aqueous ***,the nucleation and growth of zinc hydroxide sulfate(ZHS),an interfacial by-product,has been tailored by Tween 80 in the electrolyte,which thereby assists in in-situ forming a dense solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)with small-sized ZHS and evenly distributed Tween *** SEI has high corrosion resistance and uniform distribution of zinc ions,which not only contributes to blocking the interfacial side reactions but also induces stable and calm zinc plating/***,the modified electrolyte can confer the assembled Zn||Zn symmetric cell with a stable operation life over 1500 h at 1 mA·cm^(−2)and 1 mAh·cm^(−2)as well as the practical Zn||NH4V4O10 full battery with a high-rate capacity of 120 mAh·g^(−1)at the current density of 5 A·g^(−1).This work provides a way for regulating and reusing interfacial by-products,and a new sight on stabilization electrodes/electrolyte interfaces.

Variety classification and identification of maize seeds based on hyperspectral imaging method

In this study,eight different varieties of maize seeds were used as the research *** 81 types of combined preprocessing on the original *** comparison,Savitzky-Golay(SG)-multivariate scattering correction(MSC)-maximum-minimum normalization(MN)was identified as the optimal preprocessing *** competitive adaptive reweighted sampling(CARS),successive projections algorithm(SPA),and their combined methods were employed to extract feature *** models based on back propagation(BP),support vector machine(SVM),random forest(RF),and partial least squares(PLS)were established using full-band data and feature *** all models,the(CARS-SPA)-BP model achieved the highest accuracy rate of 98.44%.This study offers novel insights and methodologies for the rapid and accurate identification of corn seeds as well as other crop seeds.

Stabilizing semi-transparent perovskite solar cells with a polymer composite hole transport layer

Semi-transparent perovskite solar cells(ST-PSCs)have broad applications in building integrated ***,the stability of ST-PSCs needs to be improved,especially in n-i-p ST-PSCs since the doped 2,2',7,7'-tetrakis(N,N-di-p-methoxyphenyl-amine)-9,9'-spirobifluorene(Spiro-OMeTAD)is unstable at elevated temperatures and high *** this work,aπ-conjugated polymer poly[(2,6-(4,8-bis(5-(2-ethylhexyl)thiophene-2-yl)-benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene))-alt-(5,5-(1',3'-di-2-thienyl-5',7'-bis(2-ethylhexyl)benzo[1',2'-c:4',5'-c']dithiophene-4,8-dione)](PBDB-T)is selected to form a polymer composite hole transport layer(HTL)with *** sulfur atom of the thiophene unit and the carbonyl group of the polymer interact with the undercoordinated Pb2+at the perovskite surface,which stabilizes the perovskite/HTL interface and passivates the interfacial *** incorporation of the polymer also increases the glass transition temperature and the moisture resistance of *** a result,we obtain ST-PSCs with a champion efficiency of 13.71%and an average visible light transmittance of 36.04%.Therefore,a high light utilization efficiency of 4.94%can be ***,the encapsulated device can maintain 84%of the initial efficiency after 751 h under continuous one-sun illumination(at 30%relative humidity)at the open circuit and the unencapsulated device can maintain 80%of the initial efficiency after maximum power tracking for more than 1250 h under continuous one-sun illumination.

Tin-based perovskite solar cells(TPSCs)have received great attention due to their eco-friendly properties and high theoretical ***,the fast crystallization feature of tin-based perovskites leads to poor film quality and limits the corresponding device ***,a chlorofullerene,C_(60)Cl_(6),with six chlorine attached to the C_(60)cage,is applied to modulate the crystallization process and passivate grain boundary defects of the perovskite *** chemical interactions between C_(60)Cl_(6)and perovskite components retard the transforming process of precursors to perovskite crystals and obtain a high-quality tin-based perovskite *** is also revealed that the C_(60)Cl_(6)located at the surfaces and grain boundaries can not only passivate the defects but also offer a role in suturing grain boundaries to suppress the detrimental effects of water and oxygen on perovskite films,especially the oxidation of Sn^(2+)to Sn^(4+).As a result,the C_(60)Cl_(6)-based device yields a remarkably improved device efficiency from 10.03%to 13.30%with enhanced *** work provides a new strategy to regulate the film quality and stability of TPSCs using functional fullerene materials.

Preparation of Eco-Friendly High-Performance Manganese Dioxide Supercapacitors by Linear Sweep Voltammetry

In this paper,the non-polluting,non-toxic,and eco-friendly material-MnO_(2)electrodes were deposited on three-dimensional porous nickel(Ni)foam by linear sweep voltammetry,and the entire electrodeposition process did not require sintering of the material,which was fast and convenient while avoiding unnecessary energy consump-tion and thus was environmentally *** electron microscopy(SEM)and transmission electron microscopy were used to examine the surface and microscopic characteristics of each sample(TEM).Chronoam-perometry(CA),cyclic voltammetry(CV),galvanostatic charge/discharge(GCD),and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)were then used to determine the electrochemical characteristics of the manufactured *** result suggests that the MnO_(2)-sv80 electrode sample at a scan rate of 80 mV/s^(−1)has excellent performance for the supercapacitor *** specific capacitance was as high as 531.4 F g^(−1)at a current density of 1 A g^(−1)and remained at 223.2 F g^(−1)at an ultra-high current density of 20 A g^(−1),with capacitance retention of 42%.

A short overview of the lead iodide residue impact and regulation strategies in perovskite solar cells

Lead iodide(PbI2) is a vital raw material for preparing perovskite solar cells(PSCs),and it not only takes part in forming the light absorption layer but also remains in the grain boundary as a *** other words,the PbI2 content in the precursor and as formed film will affect the efficiency and stability of the *** moderate residual PbI2,it passivates the bulk/surface defects of perovskite,reduces the interfacial recombination,promotes the perovskite stability,minimizes the device hysteresis,and so *** PbI2 residue will reduce the interfacial passivation effect and device *** addition to facilitating the non-radiative recombination,over PbI2 residue can also lead to electronic insulation in the grain boundary and deteriorate the device ***,the impact and regulation of PbI2 residue on the device performance and stability is still not fully ***,a comprehensive and detailed review is presented by discussing the PbI2 residue impact and its regulation strategies(i.e., elimination,facilitation and conversion of the residue PbI2) to manipulate the PbI2 content,distribution and ***,we also show future outlooks in this field,with an aim to help further the progression of high-efficiency and stable PSCs.

Magnesium rechargeable batteries(MRBs)present opportunities for grid-scale energy storage applications as a complement to Li-ion batteries(LIBS).The major challenges are the low reversible capacity,inferior cycling stability and unsatisfactory energy ***_(3)VCr_(0.5)Fe_(0.5)(PO_(4))_(3) with a well-defined NASIONtype structure is used as cathode in Mg ***-electrons reaction(~116 m Ah/g),1.5 V average voltage and 65%of capacity retention over 100 cycles are *** is inserted by a biphasic reaction with the participation of V3+/V4+/V5+redox couples in the electrochemical reaction while the non-active redox couples such as Cr^(3+)/Cr^(4+)and Fe^(2+)/Fe^(3+)served as stabilizer to buffer the volume variation.A thermal stability up to~412℃ is also ***,incorporating a mixture of three transition metal(V/Cr/Fe)in this type of structures will broaden new perspectives for realizing high performance cathodes for MRBs.
