Recycling qubits for the generation of Bell nonlocality between independent sequential observers

There is currently much interest in the recycling of entangled systems, for use in quantum information protocols by sequential observers. In this work, we study the sequential generation of Bell nonlocality via recycling one or both components of two-qubit states. We first give a description of two-valued qubit measurements in terms of measurement bias, strength, and reversibility, and derive useful tradeoff relations between them. Then, we derive one-sided monogamy relations for unbiased observables that strengthen the recent conjecture by Cheng et al. [Phys. Rev. A 104, L060201 (2021)] that if the first pair of observers violate Bell nonlocality then a subsequent independent pair cannot, and give semianalytic results for the best possible monogamy relation. We also extend the construction by Brown and Colbeck [Phys. Rev. Lett. 125, 090401 (2020)] to obtain (i) a broader class of two-qubit states that allow the recycling of one qubit by a given number of observers on one side and (ii) a scheme for generating Bell nonlocality between arbitrarily many independent observers on each side, via the two-sided recycling of multiqubit states. Our results are based on a formalism that is applicable to more general problems in recycling entanglement and hence is expected to aid progress in this field.

ABSTRACTCracks are an important indicator of pavement health, and it is difficult to achieve pixel-level segmentation of small and thin cracks. The existing network often experiences false segmentation and missed segmentation. Accordingly, a novel end-to-end U-Net-like full convolutional crack segmentation network is constructed. First, we propose a multi-layer feature fusion module to aggregate the texture and semantic features at each stage of encoder, so that the network can find smaller and thinner crack. Second, we design a novel residual structure with a pointwise convolution. Each stage of the encoder and decoder incorporates a residual structure to facilitate the fusion of feature maps with different spatial dimensions. It can also prevent the gradient vanish in the network training process. Finally, we utilise the maximum unpooling to restore spatial structure in up-sampling, which exploits the indices of maximum feature value in down-sampling. Therefore, high-frequency information is better preserved to help accurately restore the details of crack edges. To verify the proposed network performance, experiments are carried out on four open datasets, the proposed network can achieve better performance among five classical networks.

This paper focuses on the tracking control problem for switched nonlinear ship maneuvering time-delay systems with only a heading angle available by adaptive neural network (NN) output feedback. Using the backstepping method, an adaptive NN control mechanism is designed to solve the problem cooperated with the state observer. The uncertain terms of the system are approximated by NNs, and the state observer is designed to estimate the yaw rate and rudder angle. The unknown time delays are overcome by exploiting the common Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (CLKFs). Combined with error transformation, the proposed control method guarantees that i) all of the signals for the system are semi-global uniformly ultimately boundedness (SGUUB) under arbitrary switching; and, ii) the tracking error of system output keeps within a small neighborhood around the origin. The results of simulation results are shown to demonstrate the feasibility of the control strategy.

Causal relationship mining of multi-dimensional meteorological time series data can reveal the potential connection between visibility and other influencing factors, and it is meaningful in terms of environmental management, air pollution chasing, and haze control. However, because causality analysis based on statistical methods or traditional machine learning techniques cannot represent the complex relationship between visibility and its influencing factors, as an extension of traditional Granger-causality analysis, we propose a causality mining method based on the seq2seq-LSTM deep learning model. The method can profoundly reveal the hidden relationship between different features and visibility and the regular pattern of bad weather, which can provide theoretical support for air pollution control. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The health status of inpatients is actively monitored by manual or wireless faithful (Wi-Fi) equipment. The Wi-Fi system is slow in speed due to the more successful approach. Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) sets the locations wherever Wi-Fi is applicable with increased high bandwidth wirelessly routers. Besides the pace element, in medical applications Li-Fi is better suited for the monitoring of patients despite the involvement of people with body frequency. This article explains how a hospital network Li-Fi uses appropriate sensors to tracked clinical variables, such as temperature, pressure, pulse, glucose and respiratory issues. The gathered sensors are transported to the plug, evaluated and transmitted to the monitor screen using the microcomputer in plots. In the roof and/or fence in the integrity of the local area network, all existing light bulbs should be changed by Li-Fi-compatible bombs. Emergency solutions are compatible with the latest smart phones.

Smart community, as a key component of Internet of Things (IoT), is experiencing fast booming, which significantly enhances residents' quality of life. Using fog computing to establish a smart community is an effective way to further develop smart and sustainable cities due to the reduction of bandwidth consumption and latency. However, privacy issues are emerging because the continuous attacks are putting sensitive information under great threats. Motivated by this, we propose a differentially private smart community model with personalized privacy protection. Differential privacy is deployed in a personalized way while a logarithmic function is leveraged to map data sensitivity to privacy protection level. Extensive evaluation results show the advantages of the proposed model from the perspective of the optimized trade-off between personalized privacy protection and data utility.

There is a certain amount of RF facilities on the low-altitude aircrafts that could cause electromagnetic interference within the platform, the electromagnetic interference between platforms is the key to influence the electromagnetic compatibility of aircraft platform. Specific systems have been developed to provide collision avoidance and early warning schemes for potential physical collisions between aircraft. With the increase in the number of ground and air vehicles and the radiation power of radio frequency equipment, the marine electromagnetic environment is deteriorating day by day. There is no effective solution to the electromagnetic "collision" among aircrafts that caused by electromagnetic interference, which is needed to be solved. This paper draws lessons from the idea that physical collision between aircrafts can be predicted and analyzed by using space trajectory model and avoided collision, then proposed aircraft navigation trajectory equation, the forecast analysis of the location of the vehicle at any time, heading, speed and acceleration information, using airborne electromagnetic emission equipment antenna model, calculated the sea low-flying aircraft airborne radio system of electromagnetic radiation, the use of the electronic equipment receiving antenna gain and receiver sensitivity, combined with the value of standard, the interference matrix which can describe the degree of electromagnetic radiation hazard between single machine and multiple machine is established. In this paper, the theoretical model of aircraft trajectory dynamics is seamlessly transformed into the electromagnetic collision field of low-altitude aircraft. Underwater ghost imaging is an effective means of underwater detection. In this paper, a theoretical and experimental study of underwater ghost imaging is carried out by combining the description of underwater optical field transmission with the inherent optical parameters of the water body. This paper utilizes the Wells model and the approximate S-S scattering phase function to create a model for optical transmission underwater. The second-order Glauber function of the optical field is then employed to analyze the scattering field's degradation during the transmission process. This analysis is used to evaluate the impact of the water body on ghost imaging. The simulation and experimental results verify that the proposed underwater ghost imaging model can better describe the degradation effect of water bodies on ghost imaging. A series of experiments comparing underwater ghost imaging at different detection distances are also carried out in this paper. In the experiments, cooperative targets can be imaged up to 65.2m (9.3AL, at attenuation coefficient c=0.1426m-1 and the scattering coefficient b=0.052m-1) and non-cooperative targets up to 41.2m (6.4AL, at c=0.1569m-1 and b=0.081m-1) . By equating the experimental maximum imaged attenuation length for cooperative targets to Jerlov-I water (b=0.002m-1 and a=0.046m-1), the system will have a maximum imaging distance of 193m. Underwater ghost imaging is expected to achieve longer-range imaging by optimizing the system emission energy and detection sensitivity. © 2023, CC BY-NC-SA.

Clustering is an effective way to enhance the lifetime of the Wireless Sensor Network. Moreover, due to the additional workload, cluster heads (CHs) use extra power to obtain data from other sensor nodes, combine the collected data and communicate the corresponding data to the base station. Moreover, inaccurate cluster formation may overload the cluster heads with extra nodes. Because of these excess nodes, cluster heads can rapidly die, leading to degradation of the effectiveness of WSN. In this work, a grid-based CHs assignment methodology is proposed for even distribution of CHs in the WSN to maximize lifetime, and Jaya algorithm does optimization. Results of the simulation showed that grid-based CH assignment provides maximum lifetime as compared to the random CH assignment method, and the jaya algorithm provides a better solution than the existing one. © 2019 IEEE.

In recent years, with the continuous expansion of network communication scale, the types of niche protocols and various proprietary communication protocols are increasing day by day, but botnet and various network attacks have also emerged in endlessly. However, most of the commonly used network protocol recognition software uses a single method, and can only identify specific network data packets or data streams, the degree of automation is low, and the recognition accuracy is not high. In view of the above situation, this paper takes the bit flow protocol data frame as the research object, takes the multi-protocol recognition as the goal, and carries on the protocol feature recognition by comparing the data flow characteristics and the evaluation index. The features of the protocol to be detected are compared with the existing protocol features of the feature base, and the similarity between each protocol is judged. The extracted composite features are digitalized to generate 0-1 matrix, and clustering analysis is completed. The frame vector quantification algorithm of message data is designed and implemented to improve the clustering efficiency. The experimental results show that, compared with the traditional algorithm, the protocol eigenvector algorithm improves the accuracy by 15%, which can make the unknown protocol format be generated faster. © 2019 IEEE.
