One of the efficient ways to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio in multi-carrier system is clipping, but it may cause the outspread of frequency spectrum, and lead to clipping noise as well as nonlinear distortion, and at the same time it can increase the bit error ratio in multi-carrier system. In this paper, a nonlinear and non-inertial system model has been constructed, which is described the statistic characteristics of clipping process, and has become the fundamental framework in the following analysis. In the model, the statistic characteristics of clipping noise and distortion are looked as Gaussian distribution. On the other hand, an improved algorithm for reducing the clipping noise and distortion has been given in this paper. The proposed algorithm used discrimination and iteration procedure to reconstruct clipping noise and distortion, and then minished their adverse effect by counteractive operation. Simulation results showed that clipping reconstructing iterative algorithm could not obviously increase peak-to-average power ratio of clipping system, but it could effectively reduce the influence of nonlinear distortion and improve the BER performance under various amplitude thresholds and different iteration times. © 2011 IEEE.

An important issue in the classification of electromyography signals is the classifier design. For surface electromyography signals in the acquisition process of serious interference by the noise, in particular frequency electrical interference, we use the zero mean of the electromyography signals and the whole cycle of filtering, obtain effective extraction of the electromyography signals characteristics, we compared the whole period of Electromyography signals filtering and f non-whole period filtering for hand acting, obtains the whole period of electromyography signals filtering to suppress interference is a very effective method. The way of electromyography signals feature extraction provides a simple, fast and practical method and lay the foundation for follow-up electromyography signals multi-action recognition.

For the rotary inverted pendulum system with limited torque (the armature voltage provided by drive motor is limited), a guaranteed cost control scheme is proposed based on T-S fuzzy model. The sufficient conditions of seeking state feedback gains are derived. The design problem is then converted to solving an optimization problem with a set of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI) constraints. Experiment results on the Quanser rotary inverted pendulum validate the efficiency of the proposed scheme.

In this paper, a new type of fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor matching demodulation system based on piezoelectric ceramic (PZT) is designed. Through the micro displacement of phase-sensitive detector (PSD)'s displacement feedback signal counterproductive in PZT, a closed-loop control system can be formed, with the function of driving, detecting and compensating. This system effectively solves some influences on the control precision of micro-displacement produced by the hysteresis nonlinearity and creep properties of PZT, and improves the demodulating accuracy of the demodulating system greatly.

In this paper, a numeral recognition algorithm based on certain characteristic invariants is presented. The invariant feature is represented here by projective invariant. Corrections are not needed during extraction and calculation of this projective invariants. Reconstruction can be carried out directly on two-dimensional images. The images need to be pre-processed. "Feature points" are then extracted. Using the coplanar five-point cross-ratio, we can then calculate the invariant features. When compared with the template databases, the distance between the invariance sequences are calculated. If the distance is no more than 0.08, we will then accept the result as a correct recognation. Experimental results show that this method can effectively overcome the deformation ambiguity caused by tilted numerals so that these numerals can be correctly recognized.

DS (Diamond Search) is one of the most famous motion estimation algorithms. By analyzing the characteristics of DS, it is found that DS can be improved more efficiently. A Modified Diamond Search (MDS) algorithm is proposed in this paper. Firstly, MDS employs Small Diamond Search Pattern(SDSP) to judge if the MBD(Minimum Block Distortion) point is the initial search center. If the MBD point does not locate at the search center, Simplified Large Diamond Search Pattern(SLDSP) will be used in the next search step. If the MBD point is not within the circular area with a radius of one pixel, SLDSP will be employed continually to locate the best matching block with large motion vector until the search center become the MBD point. Finally SDSP will be adopted to refine the motion vector. Experimental results show that MDS can speed up the motion estimation process greatly under the same encoding efficiency compared to DS, especially for those video sequences with simple and slow motion vectors. © 2011 IEEE.

This paper introduces a method of image encryption algorithm which was improved. Chaotic sequence is generated by the Logistic chaos mapping. Image encryption is realized by gray value of substitutes and pixel position scrambling. Encryption algorithm and decryption algorithm use Matlab to simulate image. The results proved the feasibility of the proposed algorithm.
