DS (Diamond Search) is one of the most famous motion estimation algorithms. By analyzing the characteristics of DS, it is found that DS can be improved more efficiently. A Modified Diamond Search (MDS) algorithm is proposed in this paper. Firstly, MDS employs Small Diamond Search Pattern(SDSP) to judge if the MBD(Minimum Block Distortion) point is the initial search center. If the MBD point does not locate at the search center, Simplified Large Diamond Search Pattern(SLDSP) will be used in the next search step. If the MBD point is not within the circular area with a radius of one pixel, SLDSP will be employed continually to locate the best matching block with large motion vector until the search center become the MBD point. Finally SDSP will be adopted to refine the motion vector. Experimental results show that MDS can speed up the motion estimation process greatly under the same encoding efficiency compared to DS, especially for those video sequences with simple and slow motion vectors.

A variety of studies on Stereo Matching Algorithms present that the process of Stereo Matching Algorithms can be reduced to five stages. The core three stages of Stereo Matching Algorithms are the attainment of initial match cost, the generation of candidate match cost and parallax calculation. Based on this theoretical, the grading test platform for stereo matching methods was present, on the context of using vc++6.0 to realize class encapsulation in each stage. There are four kinds of image to control data stream and unified interface between classes in this platform. Testing platform was divided into three parts - area of images-displaying, area of time-displaying and area of parameter-input In the images-displaying area, different parameters can be selected to control the execution of different algorithms. In the time-displaying area, the length of time of different algorithms can be compared, meanwhile, the bottleneck to improve the real time of algorithms can be detected. Performance-checking experiments of the test platform show it is excellent;its structure is clear;its function is perfect;its operation is simple;its expansibility is good.

Thailand has exported longan to international market more than four decades, and China is the main international market. After Thailand and China agreed the ASEAN framework under Free Trade Agreement (FTA) since 2003, the average volume and value of longan export per year during 2004-2010, grow up to 200,000 tons and 2,737 million Baht respectively. And the average of growth rate per year of volume and value is 18%, 15%. Therefore, the objectives of the research aim to investigate the supply chain performance, collaborative supply chain of exported longan and impact factors under Thailand-China FTA. The results are based upon empirical studies, a grower and an exporter. The questionnaires developed by Q-sort technique, have been intensively employed in order to collect data. As a significant result; this paper finds exporters have high level out of eight factors, it illustrates that good competence in business for this part of supply chain as well as are well-packed and much stronger than the grower. Nevertheless, the results from regression analysis also confirm the relationship of factors in all four models. From these experimental results, both international business and agriculture business have to be emphasized in order to manage longan export.
