To address the challenge of achieving both high sensitivity and a high quality factor in quartz crystal microbalance(QCM)humidity sensors,a nanodiamond(ND)/Ti_(3)C_(2)MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor was *** material characteristics of ND,Ti_(3)C_(2)MXene,and ND/Ti_(3)C_(2)MXene composite were analyzed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)*** experimental results demonstrated that the hydrophilic ND nanoparticles coated on Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene nanosheet prevented the self-stacking of Ti_(3)C_(2)MXene and enhanced the sensitivity of Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene-based QCM humidity ***,the high mechanical modulus of Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene material helped ND/Ti_(3)C_(2)MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor to achieve a high quality factor(>20,000).ND/Ti_(3)C_(2)MXene compositecoated QCM humidity sensor exhibited a sensitivity of 82.45 Hz/%RH,a humidity hysteresis of 1.1%RH,fast response/recovery times,acceptable repeatability,and good stability from 11.3%RH to 97.3%*** response mechanism of ND/Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor was analyzed in combination with a bi-exponential kinetic adsorption ***,the potential application of ND/Ti_(3)C_(2)MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor was demonstrated through its frequency response to wooden blocks with different moisture contents.

Capacitor reactive power compensation plays an important role in improving system voltage stability, reducing transmission line losses and substation losses. In this paper, for the 10kV system of a 220kV substation, the capacitor external fuse protection all melted and the body burned accident, based on the faulty capacitor deconstruction, analyzed the main reasons for the capacitor insulation damage and the reasons for the expansion of the fault, calculation and analysis of the capacitor imbalance protection found that the setting value is unreasonable. Through the simulation software PSCAD/EMTDC to reproduce the fault process, the cause of the fault is verified, and finally to avoid the recurrence of the fault puts forward the corresponding processing recommendations. © 2023 IEEE.

Students' feedback is adopted as a common method of evaluating teaching quality, which is crucial in monitoring teaching quality in colleges and universities. However, various factors such as area, gender, and age of the students can influence the model, content, and subjective bias of teaching quality evaluation. Therefore, we conducted a questionnaire survey for students at 90 universities in China and analyzed the data using Tableau and SPSS. The current teaching evaluation system lacks model diversity, discipline specificity, and objective standardization. Thus, improvement considering the relationship between students' cognition, attitude, and participation is proposed to provide a significant reference on the higher education reform system based on the result. © 2024 IEEE.

The study explores the impact of neutrons with different energies on laser simulation of silicon bipolar junction transistors (Si BJTs) under transient synergistic damage. This paper presents a novel direct-drive electric traction system that incorporates a disk permanent magnet (PM) motor, which shows practical potential to urban rail trains. The disk PM motor can be directly mounted on the train wheel, which realizes the direct contact of power and load. First, conceptual structure of the direct-drive system is described. Then, the motor structure and its specifications are presented from the viewpoint of replacing the asynchronous motor of the existing ALSTOM 04A02 urban rail system. Machine parameters are calculated and 3-D finite element (3-D FEM) simulation is carried out to analyze magnetic field distribution. Design results demonstrate that the disk PM motor has distinguished advantages in power density and efficiency over the asynchronous motor in use, which would be more suitable for heavy-load rail trains. At last, the influence of harmonic current from the inverter on the harmonic torque of the disk PM motor is studied, and results demonstrate that the 6th harmonic torque is the main factor affecting the torque ripple and could be suppressed by further optimizing the machine parameters. This work can provide some reference for improving the train traction system, and has reference values to other electric traction systems. © 2022 IEEE.

Manufacturing industry plays an important role in the country, and the optimization of factory facility layout design in basic manufacturing industry will affect the problem that needs to be solved urgently. The problem of facility layout optimization is not only an engineering research problem, but also more complex in practice, with high practicality. However, its interdisciplinary characteristics are also very obvious. Based on the principle of discrete system simulation, the initial model of the camshaft production line is established on the basis of determining the camshaft production process and the specific parameters of each machine tool. Secondly, according to the established model, discuss the working efficiency of each equipment, the working condition of the station, the failure efficiency of the production line and the bottleneck process, etc., run the model and analyze the results. According to the analysis of the simulation results of the model, it is gradually improved. Finally, the mass production of camshaft production line is discussed, and the initial population, individual fitness function, genetic parameters, etc. are analyzed. On this basis, genetic algorithm is used to optimize the scheduling problem, and the results are compared with the previous ones to verify whether the results are effective. © 2022 IEEE.

Moving object tracking on cost-effective hardware is a crucial need in numerous research and industrial applications. However, current deep learning-based tracking algorithms usually prioritize exceptional performance at the expense of increased computational load. Due to the unavailability of expensive GPUs for many tracking tasks, these popular trackers often fall short in providing robust tracking capabilities with affordable computational resources. This study introduces RCNNshift, a kernel-based tracker that relies on feature extraction from a random-coupled neural network. This visual cortex inspired neural model can extract image features without requiring cumbersome pre-training or deep neural connections. By utilizing an enhanced one-dimensional feature representation, RCNNshift demonstrates superior performance compared to other kernel-based object tracking methods, even those employing higher-dimensional feature spaces. Its improvement in precision and success plots of OPE, compared to the Meanshift and Camshift in the HSV and RGB color spaces, exceeds over 160% and 190% respectively. Comparative experiments have validated the robustness of RCNNshift, showcasing its superior performance over various kernel-based and particle filter trackers. Its combination of robustness and computational efficiency makes RCNNshift an ideal choice for mid to low-end object tracking tasks such as surveillance and underwater tracking. The Helium-Xenon (He-Xe) gas-cooled reactor uses a He-Xe gas mixture to remove the heat from the reactor core. It has the characteristics of a long life-cycle, simple operation, and high power-mass ratio, which has an excellent application prospect in the field of Space Reactors Power Systems. The high operation temperature distinguishes the He-Xe gas-cooled reactor from the traditional reactor in reactivity feedback characteristics. Except for the Doppler effect of the fuel and monolith, the thermal expansion also introduces reactivity feedback during reactor operation. In this work, reactivity feedback characteristics, steady-state characteristics, and transient characteristics of a hundred-kilowatt-level He-Xe gas-cooled reactor (Submersion-Subcritical Safe Space reactor, S4) were analyzed. The Doppler feedback characteristics and thermal expansion feedback coefficients of fuel, matrix, and reflector from the cold to the hot state of the S4 reactor core were calculated based on the reactor Monte Carlo code (RMC). The results show that the S4 reactor core is mainly affected by the fuel Doppler effect and the matrix thermal expansion effect. Furthermore, the temperature distributions of fuel and He-Xe gas of the S4 reactor were calculated using the He-Xe reactor transient analysis code (HXRTRAN). The transient characteristics of the S4 reactor core when different reactivity was introduced were analyzed. This study may provide a reference for the operation state of the He-Xe gas-cooled reactor. © 2023 by JSME.

Automatic fruit detection has greatly reduced labor costs and crop damage rates, contributing to the progress of agricultural modernization. It involves real-time assessment of the surrounding environment and recognition of target fruit categories. However, fruit detection faces challenges due to the similarities in shape, color, and other features among different types of fruits, as well as the impact of environmental factors such as inadequate lighting, occlusion, and background variations on recognition accuracy. This project focuses on the simulation of the robotic fruit harvesting process, which includes environmental image acquisition, image processing, and robot control. The robot utilizes its integrated camera to capture real-time images of the surrounding environment. These images are then processed on a computer, employing color recognition based on traditional algorithms. The images are segmented based on the identified color regions and subjected to object detection using YOLO v5. By discerning the presence of the target objects, the results are transmitted to the robot, which responds accordingly. The real-time performance is enhanced by filtering and narrowing down the target regions, reducing the time required for object recognition. © 2024 IEEE.

Brain tumors are critical medical conditions that require timely and accurate diagnosis to improve survival outcomes. This research proposes a cutting-edge framework for brain tumor classification, combining fine-tuned EfficientNet-B3 blocks with graph-based spatial attention capsule networks. By addressing challenges such as limited data availability, overfitting, and the complex nature of tumor structures, the framework employs partial transfer learning, advanced feature extraction, and attention mechanisms to effectively model spatial relationships in MRI images. Evaluated on a dataset of 3,064 contrast-enhanced brain MRI images, the model demonstrated exceptional performance, achieving 99.85% classification accuracy and notable improvements in precision, recall, and F1 scores for glioma, meningioma, and pituitary tumours. The use of advanced data augmentation techniques significantly improved the model's ability to generalize, while its computational efficiency makes it well-suited for clinical diagnostic applications. © 2024 IEEE.
