The proper functioning of electromechanical equipment is of paramount importance to the owner. Power analyzer, as an instrument capable of measuring high-precision power of the EE, is widely used in its research and development, production and maintenance. The complex use environment is one of the key factors affecting the performance of the PA. Therefore, in this paper, a hardware architecture of the PA based on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) and embedded Industrial Personal Computer(IPC) is proposed. First, the system startup process is analyzed from three aspects: system power-up sequence, DC power ripple elimination and external device identification, and the corresponding system startup algorithm is proposed. Second, using the BPI configuration mode to reduce the loading time of the system. Finally, a hardware experimental platform is designed and the proposed Power analyzer system algorithm of starting time sequence is verified on this platform. The experimental results show that the designed start-up algorithm can ensure the normal start-up of PA in different ambient temperatures, which has very important engineering significance. © 2023 IEEE.

Prior to nanoscale memristors are commercially viable, accurately verifying the characteristics of memristors in hardware is one of the effective approaches to rapidly expanding their engineering by applications. Nevertheless, the commonly used equivalent circuit based on commercial devices has issues: large errors, inefficiency, and compatibility. This paper proposes a general digital model for memristors based on Taylor expansion and introduces a polynomial order determination method. Numerical simulations confirm that the proposed model exhibits three typical characteristics of memristors. Afterwards, a reconfigurable memristor simulator is developed based on FPGA. Finally, the simulator is embedded in a digital oscilloscope, and an interface is designed to display the hysteresis loop of the memristor. In addition, by online modification of the polynomial coefficients, the existing memristors can be simulated in the designed platform and the phase trajectory can be displayed with high accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a design method for wide load operation of high frequency Class-E inverters based on GaN power devices in radio frequency (RF) plasma generation applications. The mathematical model considering the reverse conduction of the Class-E inverter feeding any loads on the complex plane is introduced and the total power loss of the power switch could be calculated then. The safe operating area (SOA) of the Class-E inverter could be established based on the thermal limits of the power switch. With an impedance matching network, the varying plasma load could be transformed into the SOA of the Class-E inverter. Both simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness of this design methodology. © 2022 IEEE.

Experimental Study of Heat Pipe Start-Up Characteristics and Development of an Enhanced Model Considering Gas Diffusion Effects

Heat pipe-based cooling reactors, offering passive heat transfer and modularity, are becoming the preferred type for micro-reactors. Alkali metals such as sodium, potassium and lithium are usually used as the working medium of the heat pipe, which is in a frozen state at normal atmospheric temperature. After heating the heat pipe, the working medium will melt and enter the gas chamber, and its flow state will undergo a transition from discontinuous flow to continuous flow. The start-up of the heat pipe affects the heat export and neutron physical characteristics of the heat pipe cooling reactor. Building a model of heat pipe can predict the start-up of heat pipe effectively, which can be helpful to study the start-up and safety analysis of heat pipe cooling reactor. In this paper, a heat pipe flat-front model considering the gas diffusion effect is established, and the gas temperature distribution characteristics in the non-continuous flow region are obtained through the start-up experiment of heat pipe. The calculated results of the flat-front model considering gas diffusion effect and the vertical flat-front model are compared with the experiment. The results show that the model in this paper can better describe the start-up of heat pipe. At the same time, the evaporation and condensation coefficient model based on temperature change is used to deal with the evaporation and condensation mass flow at the phase change interface of the heat pipe, which can better describe the temperature difference at the interface of the heat pipe. © 2024, The Authors. In energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy,the estimation of the pulse amplitude determines the accuracy of the spectrum *** error generated by the amplitude estimation of the pulse output distorted by the measurement system leads to false peaks in the measured *** eliminate these false peaks and achieve an accurate estimation of the distorted pulse amplitude,a composite neural network model is proposed,which embeds long and short-term memory(LSTM)into the UNet *** UNet network realizes the fusion of pulse sequence features and the LSTM model realizes pulse amplitude *** model is trained using simulated pulse datasets with different amplitudes and distortion *** the pulse height estimation,the average relative error of the trained model on the test set was approximately 0.64%,which is 27.37% lower than that of the traditional trapezoidal shaping *** processing of a standard iron source further validated the pulse height estimation performance of the UNet-LSTM *** estimating the amplitude of the distorted pulses using the model,the false peak area was reduced by approximately 91% over the full spectrum and was corrected to the characteristic peak region of interest(ROI).The corrected peak area accounted for approximately 1.32%of the characteristic peak ROI *** results indicate that the model can accurately estimate the height of distorted pulses and has substantial corrective effects on false peaks.

With the continuous development of China's economy and the acceleration of urbanization, the load level of urban power grid is increasing and the peaking pressure is growing year by year. Grid-side energy storage using battery storage technology has the characteristics of fast response, high flexibility and low loss. Based on this, this paper proposes a grid-side energy storage planning considering the urban power grid peaking demand. The method first constructs a multidimensional evaluation system of urban power grid load level according to the evaluation index of urban power grid load level to realize the perception of urban power grid peaking demand, and then establishes the grid-side energy storage planning model and distribution network revenue model, respectively. Finally, simulations are performed in a modified IEEE 14 node system to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

With the continuous access of distributed PV to the distribution network and the phenomenon of 'curtailment of hydro', in order to absorb the PV and make full use of it, the excess PV can be absorbed through the IES. In order to plan and size the comprehensive energy system economically and reasonably, firstly, the interaction model of multiple energy flow source-charge in the system is modeled, and the interaction nodes between energy flows are defined. Then, considering the objectives of cost and benefit, unit equipment involved in IES planning are constrained and the optimization strategy is selected. Finally, validated the rationality of the optimization model of the IES proposed in this paper is verified by the example of the integrated energy application scenario set up for the specific absorption of photovoltaic energy, which reflects the effectiveness of the IES for the cross-border absorption of photovoltaic energy. © 2023 IEEE.

In gas drilling operations, the appropriate enhancement of the Rate of Penetration (ROP) significantly contributes to improved drilling efficiency and reduced drilling costs. The core objective of ROP optimization is to identify the most effective combination of drilling parameters that can maximize the ROP to the greatest extent possible. However, conventional optimization algorithms often struggle in real-time optimization and stability due to the varied stratum characteristics, drilling equipment, and the ambiguous relationship between drilling parameters and ROP. In this study, we introduce a high-speed and robust real-time optimization method that meets the demands of global ROP optimization under an array of drilling conditions. More specifically, we leverage the speed and efficiency of the Bayesian optimization algorithm in finding extremum to construct an adaptive optimization model. This model is capable of swiftly recommending the optimal combination of drilling parameters, augmenting its performance through online learning from historical drilling operation data. Our experimental results substantiate that the adaptive model effectively enhances the ROP in drilling operations across diverse well depths and geographical locations. © 2023 IEEE.

Robust Practical Stabilization for Complex Dynamical Networks With DoS Attacks and Actuator Saturation

This article addresses the problem of designing an attack-resilient adaptive event-triggered (AET) controller for complex dynamical networks (CDNs) under DoS attacks and actuator saturation, with a focus on robust practical stability (RPS). First, considering the impact of DoS attacks on closed-loop systems, an AET controller against DoS attacks is designed. Unlike other event-triggered controllers, the complete timeline is divided, and the AET controller is built with two switching modes based on the intervals of dormant and active periods of DoS attacks in which the system is located. Second, to reconcile AET controller with actuator saturation, a switched system modeling approach is established that explicitly incorporates saturation constraints into the coupled network dynamics. Third, a switched Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) is proposed, with which sufficient conditions are provided to ensured the RPS, and a joint design strategy is developed for the desired triggered matrix and feedback gain using linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Moreover, the results are generalized to the case of actuator faults, indicating that the system is able to achieve RPS with actuator faults. Finally, the proposed method is verified through an example. © 2013 IEEE.
