Distributed Energy Management for Ship-Integrated Energy System: Secure and Green Sailing

With increasing awareness of environmentally friendly, the ship-integrated energy system (S-IES) combined with power and heating networks has become an upcoming trend in the shipbuilding industry. It decreases the consumption of fuel-based resources by integrating renewable energy resources to replace traditional fossil-based generators partly. Meanwhile, with many intelligent devices, the S-IES performs partitioned and autonomous features because of the unique operational structure. Therefore, the normal operation of S-IES is highly vulnerable, which will be bothered by the infeasibility-driven attack for shipboard devices and influenced by the uncertainties of renewable energy resources. To this end, the energy management problem under cyber attacks for S-IES is focused on ensuring secure and green sailing in this paper. To balance the number of nods and decrease the communication resources among energy devices, a partitioning algorithm is designed to construct the energy router (ER) based energy hub (EH) for S-IES. Meanwhile, considering the trade-off relationship between the economy and carbon emission, a multi-objective energy management model with feasible sailing constraints is designed. Then, to ensure the information exchange among EHs using ERs, a distributed resilient energy management strategy with a detection mechanism is proposed to acquire the optimal solutions under cyber attack. Finally, theoretical analysis verifies the effectiveness of the designed distributed resilient strategy. Simulation results of different scenarios prove the great performance on ensuring secure and green sailing for ships by the constructed energy management model and its distributed resilient strategy. © 2015 IEEE.

Recent advancements in retinal vessel segmentation, which employ transformer-based and domain-adaptive approaches, show promise in addressing the complexity of ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy. However, current algorithms face challenges in effectively accommodating domain-specific variations and limitations of training datasets, which fail to represent real-world conditions comprehensively. Manual inspection by specialists remains time-consuming despite technological progress in medical imaging, underscoring the pressing need for automated and robust segmentation techniques. Additionally, these methods have deficiencies in handling unlabeled target sets, requiring extra preprocessing steps and manual intervention, which hinders their scalability and practical application in clinical settings. This research introduces a novel framework that employs semi-supervised domain adaptation and contrastive pre-training to address these limitations. The proposed model effectively learns from target data by implementing a novel pseudo-labeling approach and feature-based knowledge distillation within a temporal convolutional network (TCN) and extracts robust, domain-independent features. This approach enhances cross-domain adaptation, significantly enhancing the model's versatility and performance in clinical settings. The semi-supervised domain adaptation component overcomes the challenges posed by domain shifts, while pseudo-labeling utilizes the data's inherent structure for enhanced learning, which is particularly beneficial when labeled data is scarce. Evaluated on the DRIVE and CHASE_DB1 datasets, which contain clinical fundus images, the proposed model achieves outstanding performance, with accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and AUC values of 0.9792, 0.8640, 0.9901, and 0.9868 on DRIVE, and 0.9830, 0.9058, 0.9888, and 0.9950 on CHASE_DB1, respectively, outperforming current state-of-the-art vessel segmentation methods. In the context of large-scale new energy applications and "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality", Photovoltaic power generation because of its clean and easy large-capacity storage characteristics. It can improve the utilization rate of new energy and the stability of power system operation, and further reduce carbon emissions, so photovoltaic power generation has become one of the future energy sources that are vigorously developed. The capacity configuration model and solution method are the focus of the current research. This paper summarizes the research status of optimal scheduling of integrated energy systems from two aspects: scheduling model and method. According to the difference of research priorities, the basic optimal scheduling model and the optimal scheduling model considering the randomness of the system are discussed respectively. The solution methods are divided into analytical method and artificial intelligence method. Finally, a vision for the future is put forward based on the existing problems.

We performed large-scale molecular simulation to screen and identify metal-organic framework materials for gaseous iodine capture,as part of our ongoing effort in addressing management and handling issues of various radionuclides in the grand scheme of spent nuclear fuel *** from the computation-ready experimental(CoRE)metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)database,grand canonical Monte Carlo simulation was employed to predict the iodine uptake values of the MOFs.A ranking list of MOFs based on their iodine uptake capabilities was generated,with the Top 10 candidates identified and their respective adsorption sites ***,machine learning was used to establish structure-property relationships to correlate MOFs’various structural and chemical features with their corresponding performances in iodine capture,yielding interpretable common features and design rules for viable MOF *** research strategy and framework of the present study could aid the development of high-performing MOF adsorbents for capture and recovery of radioactive iodine,and moreover,other volatile environmentally hazardous species.

Since analog systems play an essential role in modern equipment,test strategy optimization for analog systems has attracted extensive attention in both academia and *** many methods exist for the implementation of effective test strategies,diagnosis for analog systems suffers from the impacts of various stresses due to sophisticated mechanism and variable operational ***,the generated solutions are impractical due to the systems’topology and influence of information ***,independent tests operating sequentially on the generated strategies may increase the time *** overcome the above weaknesses,we propose a novel approach called heuristic programming(HP)to generate a mixture of test *** experimental results prove that HP and Rollout-HP access the strategy with fewer layers and lower cost consumption than state-of-the-art *** HP and Rollout-HP provide more practical strategies than other ***,the cost consumption of the strategy based on HP and Rollout-HP is improved compared with those of other methods because of the updating of the test cost and adaptation of mixture OR ***,the proposed HP and Rollout-HP methods have high efficiency.

As an important direction for future energy development, the integrated energy system aims to achieve efficient, safe and clean utilization of energy. Through photovoltaic power generation, energy storage technology and microgrid scheduling system, the system is able to achieve optimal allocation and scheduling of energy, to enhance energy utilization efficiency and decrease energy expenses, photovoltaic energy storage technology is employed to harness solar power for the production of electricity, which is stored through energy storage equipment to address the intermittency challenges associated with photovoltaic power generation. Microgrid scheduling, functioning as an integral part of the comprehensive energy system, utilizes advanced intelligent algorithms and scheduling strategies to efficiently manage and optimize the allocation of multiple energy resources. By playing a pivotal role as a fundamental building block within the integrated energy system, this not only guarantees a dependable and consistent energy supply but also significantly boosts energy utilization efficiency, ultimately enhancing the system’s economic viability and environmental sustainability. Optimized configuration is the most important problem of integrated energy system, which involves knowledge from multiple fields. In this paper, a variety of optimized configuration schemes are proposed, striving to enhance the system’s overall performance and offer valuable insights for future research and practical applications.

In-situ TEM study on the evolution of dislocation loops and bubbles in CeO_(2)during Kr^(+)single-beam and Kr^(+)-H_(2)^(+)dual-beam synergetic irradiation

CeO_(2)is widely used as the nonradioactive surrogate fuel of UO_(2)when studying the irradiation performance of UO_(2).The evolution and characteristics of dislocation loops and bubbles in CeO_(2)foils were studied by in-situ transmission electron microscopy(TEM)observation during 400 ke V Kr^(+)&30 ke V H_(2)^(+)dual-beam synergetic irradiation and 400 ke V Kr^(+)single-beam irradiation at 1073 *** rotation of the habit plane of dislocation loops induced by above ion irradiation was found in the CeO_(2)for the first time,such as from[211]to[311]and then to[100].The rafted loops were first observed under Kr^(+)&H_(2)^(+)dual-beam synergetic irradiation,which not only had similar[111]direction,but also belonged to perfect dislocation loops(PDLs).The rafted loops were formed not only by the growth of loops that absorbed irradiation defects,but also by the combination of ***,this phenomenon of loop rafting was not obvious during Kr single-beam *** was first found that Kr^(+)irradiation induced the change of Burgers vectors of *** absorption of large PDLs to small PDLs was also *** average size and areal number density of dislocation loops and gas bubbles as a function of irradiation dose were constructed,which showed that the addition of H_(2)^(+)obviously affected the characteristics of dislocation loops and gas bubbles and the swelling of CeO_(2).
