A search for the Ξcc++ baryon through the Ξcc++ → D+pK−π+ decay is performed with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb−1 recorded by the LHCb experiment in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. An upper limit is set on the ratio of branching fractions R = BB((ΞΞcc++cc++→→ΛD+c+KpK−π−+ππ++)) with R −2 at the 90% (95%) confidence level at the known mass of the Ξ++ state. No significant signal is observed in the mass range 3300–3800 MeV/c2. cc Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A search for Bs0 → τ±µ and B0 → τ±µ decays is performed using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb−1 of proton-proton collisions, recorded with the LHCb detector in 2011 and 2012. For this search, the τ lepton is reconstructed in the τ− → π−π+π−ντ channel. No significant signal is observed. Assuming no contribution from B0 → τ±µ decays, an upper limit is set on the Bs0 → τ±µ branching fraction of B (Bs0 → τ±µ) −5 at 95% confidence level. If instead no contribution from Bs0 → τ±µ decays is assumed, a limit of B (B0 → τ±µ) −5 is obtained at 95% confidence level. These are the first limit on B (Bs0 → τ±µ) and the world’s best limit on B (B0 → τ±µ). Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Decays of Bs0 and B0s mesons into J/ψπ+π− final states are studied in a data sample corresponding to 1.9 fb−1 of integrated luminosity collected with the LHCb detector in 13 TeV pp collisions. A time-dependent amplitude analysis is used to determine the final-state resonance contributions, the CP-violating phase φs = −0.057 ± 0.060 ± 0.011 rad, the decay-width difference between the heavier mass Bs0 eigenstate and the B0 meson of −0.050 ± 0.004 ± 0.004 ps−1, and the CP-violating parameter |λ| = 1.01+0−0..0806 ± 0.03, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. These results are combined with previous LHCb measurements in the same decay channel using 7 TeV and 8 TeV pp collisions obtaining φs = 0.002 ± 0.044 ± 0.012 rad, and |λ| = 0.949 ± 0.036 ± 0.019. The production of charged hadrons within jets recoiling against a Z boson is measured in proton-proton collision data at √s = 8 TeV recorded by the LHCb experiment. The charged-hadron structure of the jet is studied longitudinally and transverse to the jet axis for jets with transverse momentum pT > 20 GeV and in the pseudorapidity range 2.5 Copyright © 2019, The Authors. The production fractions of B0s and Λ0b hadrons, normalized to the sum of B− and B0 fractions, are measured in 13 TeV pp collisions using data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.67 fb−1. These ratios, averaged over the b-hadron transverse momenta from 4 to 25 GeV and pseudorapidity from 2 to 5, are 0.122±0.006 for B0s, and 0.259±0.018 for Λ0b, where the uncertainties arise from both statistical and systematic sources. The Λ0b ratio depends strongly on transverse momentum, while the B0s ratio shows a mild dependence. Neither ratio shows variations with pseudorapidity. The measurements are made using semileptonic decays to minimize theoretical uncertainties. In addition, the ratio of D+ to D0 mesons produced in the sum of B0 and B− semileptonic decays is determined as 0.359 ± 0.006 ± 0.009, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic. The decay-time-dependent CP asymmetry in Bs0 → J/ψK+K− decays is measured using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.9 fb−1, collected with the LHCb detector at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV in 2015 and 2016. Using a sample of approximately 117 000 signal decays with an invariant K+K− mass in the vicinity of the φ(1020) resonance, the CP-violating phase φs is measured, along with the difference in decay widths of the light and heavy mass eigenstates of the Bs0-B0s system, ∆Γs. The difference of the average Bs0 and B0 meson decay widths, Γs − Γd, is determined using in addition a sample of B0 → J/ψK+π− decays. The values obtained are φs = −0.083 ± 0.041 ± 0.006 rad, ∆Γs = 0.077 ± 0.008 ± 0.003 ps−1 and Γs − Γd = −0.0041 ± 0.0024 ± 0.0015 ps−1, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. These are the most precise single measurements of these quantities to date and are consistent with expectations based on the Standard Model and with a previous LHCb analysis of this decay using data recorded at centre-of-mass energies 7 and 8 TeV. Finally, the results are combined with recent results from Bs0 → J/ψπ+π− decays obtained using the same dataset as this analysis, and with previous independent LHCb results. We report inelastic neutron scattering measurements of low energy (~ω . 10 meV) magnetic excitations in the "11" system Fe1+yTe1−xSex. The spin correlations are two-dimensional (2D) in the superconducting samples at low temperature, but appear much more three-dimensional when the temperature rises well above Tc ∼ 15 K, with a clear increase of the (dynamic) spin correlation length perpendicular to the Fe planes. The spontaneous change of dynamic spin correlations from 2D to 3D on warming is unexpected and cannot be naturally explained when only the spin degree of freedom is considered. Our results suggest that the low temperature physics in the "11" system, in particular the evolution of low energy spin excitations towards superconducting pairing, is driven by changes in orbital correlations. The Euclid mission will observe well over a billion galaxies out to z ∼ 6 and beyond. This will offer an unrivalled opportunity to investigate several key questions for understanding galaxy formation and evolution. The first step for many of these studies will be the selection of a sample of quiescent and star-forming galaxies, as is often done in the literature by using well known colour techniques such as the ‘UVJ’ diagram. However, given the limited number of filters available for the Euclid telescope, the recovery of such rest-frame colours will be challenging. We therefore investigate the use of observed Euclid colours, on their own and together with ground-based uband observations, for selecting quiescent and star-forming galaxies. The most efficient colour combination, among the ones tested in this work, consists of the (u−VIS) and (VIS − J) colours. We find that this combination allows users to select a sample of quiescent galaxies complete to above ∼ 70% and with less than 15% contamination at redshifts in the range 0.75 65% completeness level and contamination below 20% at 1 Copyright © 2020, The Authors. For the problem of compute nodes load unbalance leads to the overload node impact VM performance and the underload node waste electrical energy. Dynamic VM consolidation is an efficient approach for improving the utilization of servers and reducing energy costs. In this paper, we introduce dynamic consolidation into OpenStack and implement AMVM based on OpenStack. AMVM collect and analyze all performance data of VM and compute node in OpenStack. Then AMVM automatically schedules VM live migrate to the most appropriate node according to the real-time load of all compute nodes. Then we use hybrid-copy instead of pre-copy in AMVM to improve the efficiency of VM live migration. Finally, we analyze the performance of hybrid-copy, hybrid-copy can reduce page faults compared with post-copy and reduce total data transferred compared with pre-copy. © 2016 SERSC.

Human saccade is a dynamic process of information pursuit. There are many methods using either global context or local context cues to model human saccadic scan-paths. In contrast to them, this paper introduces a model for gaze movement control using both global and local cues. To test the performance of this model, an experiment is done to collect human eye movement data by using an SMI iVIEW X Hi-Speed eye tracker with a sampling rate of 1250 Hz. The experiment used a two-by-four mixed design with the location of the targets and the four initial positions. We compare the saccadic scan-paths generated by the proposed model against human eye movement data on a face benchmark dataset. Experimental results demonstrate that the simulated scan-paths by the proposed model are similar to human saccades in term of the fixation order, Hausdorff distance, and prediction accuracy for both static fixation locations and dynamic scan-paths.
