The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all domains of human life, including the economic and social fabric of societies. One of the central strategies for managing public health throughout the pandemic has been through persuasive messaging and collective behaviour change. To help scholars better understand the social and moral psychology behind public health behaviour, we present a dataset comprising of 51,404 individuals from 69 countries. This dataset was collected for the International Collaboration on Social & Moral Psychology of COVID-19 project (ICSMP COVID-19). This social science survey invited participants around the world to complete a series of moral and psychological measures and public health attitudes about COVID-19 during an early phase of the COVID-19 pandemic (between April and June 2020). The survey included seven broad categories of questions: COVID-19 beliefs and compliance behaviours; identity and social attitudes; ideology; health and well-being; moral beliefs and motivation; personality traits; and demographic variables. We report both raw and cleaned data, along with all survey materials, data visualisations, and psychometric evaluations of key variables.

Covering a quarter of the world's tropical coastlines and being one of the most threat- ened ecosystems, mangroves are among the major sources of terrestrial organic matter to oceans and harbor a wide microbial diversity. In order to protect, restore, and better understand these ecosystems, researchers have extensively studied their microbiology, yet few surveys have focused on their fungal communities, Our lack of knowledge is even more pronounced for specific fungal populations, such as the ones associated with the rhizosphere. Likewise, the Red Sea gray man- groves (Avicennia marina) remain poorly characterized, and understanding of their fungal commu- nities still relies on cultivation-dependent methods. In this study, we analyzed metagenomic datasets from gray mangrove rhizosphere and bulk soil samples collected in the Red Sea coast, to obtain a snapshot of their fungal communities. Our data indicated that Ascomycota was the dominant phylum (76%-85%), while Basidiomycota was less abundant (14%-24~), yet present in higher numbers than usually reported for such environments. Fungal communities were more stable within the rhizosphere than within the bulk soil, both at class and genus level. This finding is consistent with the intrinsic patchiness in soil sediments and with the selection of specific microbial commu- nities by plant roots. Our study indicates the presence of several species on this mycobiome that were not previously reported as mangrove-associated. In particular, we detected representatives of several commercially-used fungi, e.g., producers of secreted cellulases and anaerobic producers of cellulosomes. These results represent additional insights into the fungal community of the gray mangroves of the Red Sea, and show that they are significantly richer than previously reported.

After publication of this article, the authors noticed that a N-C dimension error was unwillingly coded in the 3D NMR spectrum "***" processing script used to perform backbone assignments for this enzyme. The authors noticed that some OBS, CAR and LAB values in the "***" had been switched in the y and z dimensions, probably resulting from a wrong NMRPipe selection when reading the Varian NMR experimental parameters. They have carefully re-processed, re-analyzed, re-assigned, in addition to checking all scripts to evaluate the extent of this processing error on the published assignments. Authors determined that the "***" error resulted in a significant number of incorrect backbone resonance assignments, requiring us to issue corrections in Figs. 2, 3 and 4 of this published manuscript, in addition to Table S1. New versions of these figures and table are provided below. The corresponding BMRB entry has also been revised. The authors note that these modifications do not change the global message, conclusions, and molecular dynamics simulations presented in this article. The authors are grateful to David N. Bernard (INRS) for help with finding and correcting these errors.
The problem of determining whether a given quantum state is entangled lies at the heart of quantum information processing, which is known to be an NP-hard problem in general. Despite the proposed many methods such as ...

Titanium is a typical biomaterial that is extensively used for fabrication of orthopedic and bone implants. Although it provides biocompatibility and osseointegration in major cases, in minor occasions the implant does not establish desired attachment with the surrounding bone tissue, which results in infection and failure. Recent studies demonstrate that electrochemical anodization of the bulk material can be employed as an effective technique to enhance biocompatibility of the titanium surface. In this paper, various aspects of such surface modification are reviewed to evaluate its potential for fabrication of next generation orthopedic implants.
