The agricultural sector holds significant importance in the socio-economic structure of India. The inability of farmers to make informed decisions regarding the optimal crop selection for their land, based on non-scientific and traditional methods, poses a significant challenge for a nation where farming constitutes the livelihood of nearly 58% of the population. At times, farmers have experienced challenges in selecting appropriate crops that align with the soil conditions, sowing season, and geographical location. By collecting data from sensors in the fields, ranchers can easily ascertain the extent of the crops, which helps preserve scarce resources and lessens the negative effects of weeds on the environment. The majority of Indian farmers choose conventional farming methods when deciding how their crops should be grown. Regardless, ranchers do not jeopardize agricultural yields, which are sensitive to abiotic factors such as soil type. In this proposed method, two types of datasets have been collected from the southern and northern parts of the country through IoT-based sensors. The crop recommendation system has been processed with various machine learning algorithms like logistic regression, KNN, decision tree, and support vector machine through the collected dataset. The accuracy of 97% and 96% has been achieved for processed datasets in the southern and northern parts of India. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The absence of a consistent ontological framework often impedes efficient knowledge organization and sharing within the agricultural community, despite the quantity of data created in agricultural research. The lack of defined vocabulary and conceptual frameworks hinders data integration, agricultural research, and innovation by preventing interoperability between databases and systems. To address these issues, this research work proposes the Nurturing Agri-Ontology Framework (NAOF), which offers a systematic approach to creating and updating agricultural ontologies. Ontologies that faithfully portray agricultural ideas and connections can be more easily created with the help of NAOF, which combines ideas from knowledge management, agricultural science, and ontology engineering. NAOF aims to ensure that the ontologies produced reflect the wide range of viewpoints and terminology used in agricultural research by encouraging cooperation among stakeholders, ontology engineers, and domain specialists. In this study, the improvement of knowledge organization, sharing and integration in the agricultural area is shown with the application of NAOF. Using this research study, scientists can build ontologies that improve agricultural decision-making, data interoperability, and the discovery of new information. Using quantum machine learning techniques, a strong foundation of knowledge can be laid for several agricultural applications, such as precision agriculture, crop management, and the formulation of agricultural policies. Ontology coverage, interoperability, scalability, and usability are established evaluation parameters that are used to assess the efficacy of NAOF in this research work. The analysis shows that NAOF effectively solves the problems and creates a better agricultural knowledge ecosystem by thoroughly evaluating it using these standards. © 2024 IEEE.

Image dehazing and image defogging work towards the same goal, which is to reconstruct hazy or foggy images by eliminating noise. Among the many dehazing and defogging algorithms available, Dark Channel Prior (DCP) is among the most effective algorithm. DCP employs the dark pixels from the noisy image to perform image reconstruction using the standard four-step process. In this paper, we implement DCP single image dehazing for license plate images. Specifically, the transmission map refinement was implemented using the guided filter. The implemented model performs the DCP implementation along with its five important parameter evaluations and analyzes the performance. The paper concludes with a comparative analysis for five parameters that are patch size, epsilon value, window radius, value of and finally pixel values. © 2023 IEEE.

One of the most victorious strategies for slowing the spread of the COVID-19 virus has been proposed: social isolation. A computer vision-based AI-assisted approach for aiding with social distance norms compliance is utilized. The solution consists of modules for person detection, tracking, and distance violations detection. You are given the option to select a tool-based mode for camera calibration. In this paper, the various measures for determining the likelihood of social distance violations and how to tell them apart from temporary violations from persistent ones are demonstrated. On countless real-world issues, AI/Deep Learning has in the past shown promising results. For this leaf disease study, apple and sugarcane plants are identified and classified using a mix of character features and in-depth automated coding. Farm sugar cane leaves were copied for the online apple Plant Village Dataset. Pre-process images to reduce size and improve HLG filters. Image segmentation using DWT and GLCM feature extraction follows. Like the Low-Low (LL) band, DWT images produce 4-orthogonal subbands. Deep Auto Encoder and SVM algorithms retrieved subgroup functions and identified diseases from training data. If classification findings are ignored, the division stage receives data with HL, LH, and HH bands to explain approach consistency. Deep Auto encoder classifies illness using training data after extracting sub-band features. The Auto Encoder and SVM classifier demonstrated that the proposed model outperformed alternatives in LL band. Other subbands performed worse than the LL band. This study found that LL sub band data provided fine image data for better sickness categorization than HH, HL, and LH sub band data. © 2024 IEEE.

One of the most significant areas where realistic solutions have been put into place to minimise harm is flood management. In this research project, we are creating an IoTenabled adaptive AI technique for effective fluid management. Floods in Kerala, India, have recently seriously damaged the environment, infrastructure, and population. Various IoT devices gathered information on temperature, precipitation rates, and other variables. This study uses a real-time flood visualisation technology to provide an information system for flood monitoring. A system is constructed by first creating two systems: a client system comprised of hardware for detecting floods and a server system comprised of software for monitoring floods and distributing the collected data. All of the information on the flood in Kerala is compiled and split in halves, with the first set serving as training data and the second as test data. The suggested hybrid model is trained using six different machine learning models, and it achieves a maximum accuracy of 99.64%. We were able to prevent losses because to the system's seamless design. Research reveals that the client of the flood detection system may deliver real-time data on flood levels, weather conditions, and temperatures. Additionally, data from client systems can be collected by flood monitoring information systems and stored in MySQL. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, Fuzzy Cognitive Maps (FCM) are widely used in medical decision schemes. According to data, oral cancer is the fifth most common cancer in India, with a higher occurrence among men than women. In order to save lives, correct diagnosis and prompt treatment is required. When oral cancer is identified early, the 5-year survival rate exceeds 80%, but advanced stages of the illness have 5-year survival rates that are less than 20–30%. But, the majority of cases are detected in advanced stages where treatment becomes unsuccessful. To achieve a better classification of oral cancers, Gray Level Run Length Matrix (GLRLM) is combined with Fuzzy Cognitive Map and Support Vector Machines. In this work, fifty Dental Radiograph images are used for cancer classification. Initially, Linear contrast stretching algorithm is employed to remove the noise present in the image. The filtered picture is split to create a Region of Interest (ROI). The ROI picture is used to extract the GLRLM features. The classification of cancer is based on the features extracted. From the extracted features, a fuzzy cognitive map is employed. Cancer categorization is carried through Machine Learning approaches. Measures like sensitivity, specificity, precision, accuracy, and F-score have been used to describe the performance of the SVM classifier. The study’s findings demonstrate that GLRLM-based features are strong discriminating features for statistical analysis of Dental Radiograph images and can be helpful in the identification of cancer. By combining the texture features based on GLRLM and FCM, the accuracy (94%) as a whole is improved. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

The utilization of the Internet of Things (IOT) has shown significant potential in various aspects of daily life, yet its application in addressing social issues remains underdeveloped. India, with a substantial number of orphanages, faces challenges in efficiently distributing crucial information, hindering donors from obtaining accurate data on food reserves. This project proposes an IOT-based system to tackle this issue, using Node MCU IOT devices connected to sensors that relay data through a network, accessible and monitorable via web applications. The proposed system architecture aims to bridge the gap between those who waste food and those in poverty who desperately need it. We intend to facilitate food donations by implementing smart containers equipped with IOT technology. These containers can detect excess food waste and share this information via a GSM module with trusted charitable organizations. This application is designed to serve three main stakeholders: service providers, donors, and food recipients in need. By creating smart containers, we ensure that donated food reaches the right individuals. We prioritize collaborating with trusted charities to oversee the distribution process. Only authorized charity members can access and distribute the food stored in these containers, ensuring that it reaches those who need it most. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's connected and data-driven world, networks and digital systems need to be protected from malicious attacks. The effectiveness of conventional Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) in recognizing and impeding novel threats and intricate methodologies has its limits. This study introduces a new method for improving network security by using deep learning techniques in the design and development of an intrusion detection system (IDS). The suggested Intrusion Detection System uses deep learning techniques, specifically Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), to identify and react to known and new security threats. Data can be taught to be encoded into a lower-dimensional representation and then decoded back into its original form using autoencoders (AEs). Autoencoders are a cutting-edge intrusion detection system that can lower false positives and raise overall detection accuracy because of their capacity to automatically learn from and adjust to the ever-changing threat landscape. They enhance computer networks capacity to spot irregularities and possible security threats. With the deep learning model obtaining a high accuracy of 99% in real-world threat detection, the results show that deep learning is effective in developing intrusion detection systems. © 2024 IEEE.

The Docker technology makes the process of developing software substantially more effective by resolving issues related to deployment and hosting. Through the use of virtualization, it is able to function independently of the underlying hardware infrastructure, and it relies on its own code to carry out the execution of programs. The encapsulation of an application's whole environment together with its source code is at the heart of Docker's methodology. This enables Docker to efficiently eliminate the problems that are associated with having a variety of working environments, but it may also result in the images having a greater file size. "Images" is the term that Docker uses to refer to these bundled environments. Docker was used in this investigation to carry out a variety of tests, which allowed identical code to be executed on a variety of platforms, so permitting extensive comparisons. Software developers made use of Docker's ability to analyze the outcomes, which enabled them to make decisions based on accurate information.
