The exponential growth in online education has increased the demand for automated systems to ensure academic integrity during online examinations. A real-time proctoring system addresses this need by monitoring a student's eye gaze and head movements during an exam. This system leverages Dlib's pre-trained frontal face detector and 68-point facial landmark predictor to detect facial features and track the direction of eye movement and head position. By analyzing these metrics, the system can flag behaviors associated with potential cheating, such as looking away from the screen for extended periods. This paper discusses the design and implementation of the proctoring system, details the detection algorithms, and evaluates its effectiveness for real-time monitoring. © 2025 IEEE.

A new single-stage high-gain interleaved boost modular CL resonant converter is proposed in this paper for photovoltaic-powered magnetron application. The proposed converter is able to provide high voltage gain for the magnetron which is a device for microwave applications. Perturb and Observe (P&O) method was used to achieve Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) in the integrated interleaved boost stage by controlling the duty-cycle of the two primary leg switches. The operational principles of the converter are briefly discussed in this paper. Results on a 1.7kW, 230V/3.8kV design are presented to verify the proposed converter performance. © 2024 IEEE.

Maize plays a fundamental role as a staple food for millions worldwide. However, the significant threat posed by various diseases to maize cultivation has led to substantial yield losses on a global scale. Early and accurate detection of these diseases is essential for prompt intervention and effective treatment strategies. In this regard, the development of advanced detection methods employing deep learning and image processing has gained attention, offering the potential to revolutionize disease identification and management practices. Accordingly, this research introduces a Deep Convolutional Neural Network model combined with Transfer Learning techniques, reducing the training time for the AI model. Furthermore, Data Augmentation practices are employed to improve accuracy by addressing dataset variability. The projected model achieves an impressive accuracy of 98.6%, crucial for mitigating current crop wastage resulting from undetected diseases. Enhancing accuracy further is essential for improving current crop yield conditions impacted by undetected diseases. Moreover, a GUI-based application model is developed for early detection of maize diseases, aiding farmers in their fields. This accuracy can be further increased by incorporating additional parameters. Traditional image recognition and Deep Learning approaches are progressively making their way into the field of plant disease recognition. © 2024 IEEE.

Inverse design, where we seek to design input variables in order to optimize an underlying objective function, is an important problem that arises across fields such as mechanical engineering to aerospace engineering. Inverse design is typically formulated as an optimization problem, with recent works leveraging optimization across learned dynamics models. However, as models are optimized they tend to fall into adversarial modes, preventing effective sampling. We illustrate that by instead optimizing over the learned energy function captured by the diffusion model, we can avoid such adversarial examples and significantly improve design performance. We further illustrate how such a design system is compositional, enabling us to combine multiple different diffusion models representing subcomponents of our desired system to design systems with every specified component. In an N-body interaction task and a challenging 2D multi-airfoil design task, we demonstrate that by composing the learned diffusion model at test time, our method allows us to design initial states and boundary shapes that are more complex than those in the training data. Our method generalizes to more objects for N-body dataset and discovers formation flying to minimize drag in the multi-airfoil design task. Several things influence human relations. Many of each other's personality traits can have an impact on a relationship between two people. These characteristics have the power to strengthen their love or spark conflict. Personality traits can be used to evaluate the quality of the relationship between the partners. To determine whether the individual will maintain or end the relationship, the relationship's quality has been evaluated based on personality traits. A thorough analysis has been conducted on the personality traits that impact relationships to determine whether they will have an impact, might have an impact or have no impact at all. A study was carried out to investigate the impact of personality traits on relationships. The relationship quality was assessed based on the personality trait which will make the person stay in the relationship, might or might not stay, or not stay in the relationship. The data collected and the pre-existing data combined was used to calculate the relationship quality. © 2024 IEEE.

A condensed content-based signature that summarises an audio recording is known as an audio fingerprint. Audio The capability to recognize music regardless of design and without the use of meta-data or watermark embedding has made fingerprinting technologies popular. In. tegrity checking, watermark support, and content-based aural retrieval are additional applications for fingerprinting. The various methods of fingerprinting have been discussed using various justifications and terminologies, such as pattern matching, multimedia information retrieval, or cryptography. It is a distinct and condensed digest created using perceptually important elements of a video. Audio material can be monitored using fingerprinting technologies without requiring embedding of metadata or watermarks. However, audio fingerprinting has extra applications The algorithm is trained using thousands of mini audio speech commands. In order to improve the training efficiency, audio features are extracted during a pre-processing. The accuracy of the developed model is 83.7%. © 2023 IEEE.

The proliferation of deepfake technology poses a significant challenge to the authenticity of digital content. This research explores the application of multimodal fusion techniques to enhance deepfake detection accuracy. By combining visual and audio features, the proposed method leverages the complementary nature of different data types to detect discrepancies introduced by deepfake manipulation. An attention mechanism is incorporated to focus on salient regions within each modality, further improving detection accuracy. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCCs) are employed for feature extraction, followed by feature fusion for deepfake detection. This approach demonstrates the effectiveness of multimodal fusion in combating the evolving threat of deepfake technology. By advancing deepfake detection techniques, this research contributes to safeguarding the integrity of digital content and preserving trust in media. © 2024 IEEE.

Glaucoma, a gradually developing eye condition that can damage the optic nerve, is one of the leading causes of irreversible blindness worldwide. The detection of glaucoma is required in its initial phases for the prevention of the disease. Several machine learning and deep learning models have been developed to detect the disease. These models require a preprocessed structured data set for better efficiency and accuracy of detection. The image datasets used for this purpose have been found with several issues of outliers and noise that limit the accuracy of the results. Hence, proper handling of the dataset in terms of pre-processing is vital. This paper presents a novel pre-processing technique for better glaucoma detection as it is necessary to remove outliers from the retinal images. The proposed 'EMF' model for pre-processing comprises Enhancement, Morphology, and Filtering of the images to get better results on the Retina. Drishti dataset has been used to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed technique. This dataset has several outliers that limit the accuracy, making it difficult to diagnose glaucoma. However, with the usage of the proposed technique, the dataset could be efficiently utilized for glaucoma detection. Compared to current state-of-the-art techniques, the findings from the proposed approach were shown to be better in terms of MSE, PSNR, and entropy. © 2024 IEEE.

Tremendous amount of meteorological data is being generated on a daily basis from a number of sources such as weather stations, balloons, satellites, sensors etc. Timely weather prediction helps people plan everyday life events. Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) networks perform extremely well for capturing dependencies in time series datasets. Number of neurons in hidden layer highly impacts the performance of the LSTM network. The hit and Trial method for selecting the neurons consumes a lot of time and resources and might not lead to a global optimum solution. In this research work, two techniques, i.e. Genetic Algorithm optimized LSTM (LSTM-GA) and Artificial Bee Colony optimized LSTM (LSTM-ABC) have been proposed and implemented to automate the selection of the hidden layer's neurons for improved weather prediction. Proposed techniques have been implemented using DeepLearning4j library making the techniques scalable on clusters of machines. For evaluating the performance of proposed techniques, 15 years Brazil's weather dataset has been used. The experimental results proved that the proposed LSTM-GA and LSTM-ABC techniques have the reduced MAE value of 0.0074 and 0.0075 respectively while the LSTM network without any optimization has a relatively higher MAE value of 0.0086. © 2024 IEEE.

A CAPTCHA is used to reduce the misuse in the case of rising automated bots or software systems and also to avoid any corruption of the web services. The Captcha is used as solving a turing test problem by the users, before they get access to the software system. The paper discusses about the model that extracts the alphanumeric characters from either of audio or text-based captchas. Finally, the model's performance is found based on different parameters like accuracy level, specificity, precision etc. © 2023 IEEE.
