Utilizing interpretable stacking ensemble learning and NSGA-Ⅲ for the prediction and optimisation of building photo-thermal environment and energy consumption

This study develops an approach consisting of a stacking model integrated with a multi-objective optimisation algorithm aimed at predicting and optimising the ecological performance of *** integrated model consists of five base models and a meta-model,which significantly improves the prediction ***,the R2 value was improved by 9.19% and the error metrics MAE,MSE,MAPE,and CVRMSE were reduced by 69.47%,79.88%,67.32%,and 57.02%,respectively,compared to the single prediction *** to the research on interpretable machine learning,adding the SHAP value gives us a deeper understanding of the impact of each architectural design parameter on the *** the multi-objective optimisation part,we used the NSGA-Ⅲ algorithm to successfully improve the energy efficiency,daylight utilisation and thermal comfort of the ***,the optimal design solution reduces the energy use intensity by 31.6 kWh/m^(2),improves the useful daylight index by 39%,and modulated the thermal comfort index,resulting in a decrement of 0.69℃ for the summer season and an enhancement of 0.64℃ for the winter season,***,this study provides building designers and decision makers with a tool to make better design decisions at an early stage to achieve a better combination of energy efficiency,daylight utilisation and thermal comfort optimisation in an integrated manner,providing an important support for achieving sustainable building design.

Optimizing Service Stipulation Uncertainty with Deep Reinforcement Learning for Internet Vehicle Systems

Fog computing brings computational services near the network edge to meet the latency constraints of cyber-physical System(CPS)*** devices enable limited computational capacity and energy availability that hamper end user *** designed a novel performance measurement index to gauge a device’s resource *** examination addresses the offloading mechanism issues,where the end user(EU)offloads a part of its workload to a nearby edge server(ES).Sometimes,the ES further offloads the workload to another ES or cloud server to achieve reliable performance because of limited resources(such as storage and computation).The manuscript aims to reduce the service offloading rate by selecting a potential device or server to accomplish a low average latency and service completion time to meet the deadline constraints of sub-divided *** this regard,an adaptive online status predictive model design is significant for prognosticating the asset requirement of arrived services to make float ***,the development of a reinforcement learning-based flexible x-scheduling(RFXS)approach resolves the service offloading issues,where x=service/resource for producing the low latency and high performance of the *** approach to the theoretical bound and computational complexity is derived by formulating the system efficiency.A quadratic restraint mechanism is employed to formulate the service optimization issue according to a set ofmeasurements,as well as the behavioural association rate and adulation *** system managed an average 0.89%of the service offloading rate,with 39 ms of delay over complex scenarios(using three servers with a 50%service arrival rate).The simulation outcomes confirm that the proposed scheme attained a low offloading uncertainty,and is suitable for simulating heterogeneous CPS frameworks.

In this research, the concept of applying the student's original learning based on the course or skills related to the use of hand drawing and sketching was applied by creating a 3D structure drawing and dividing it into 2 groups between Non-Draft Groups and Draft Groups Both groups created 3D models and assessed the structures. Upon examination, it was found that the structural drawing group produced 3D models with higher 3D structural evaluation scores than the other group. To show that the use of the sketch helps the 3D structure to be more complete. © 2024 IEEE.

The use of 3D technology in creative processes not only facilitates the creation of complex and intricate works but also provides opportunities for creators to experiment and develop unique and engaging concepts. Additionally, multimedia and 3D technology enhance the diversity and interest of the audience's experience. This study focuses on comparing the impact of using 3D models versus viewing ancient artifacts in traditional formats on enhancing creativity among students in different groups. Descriptive data analysis revealed that both groups had equal mean outputs (7.14 pieces per person), but the group using 3D models (Group 2) showed greater consistency in their work, with lower variance (5.14) and standard deviation (2.27) compared to the group using traditional visuals (Group 1), which had higher variance (27.24) and standard deviation (5.22).The findings suggest that implementing 3D technology in education goes beyond preserving historical information - it serves as a crucial tool for stimulating creativity and fostering innovation. This technology enables the development of immersive learning environments that can adapt to individual learning styles while promoting collaborative and cross-disciplinary approaches to education. © 2025 IEEE.

Globalization and technological development are the two main pillars of the basis of modern enterprises. Different business decisions want to determine the balance between the potential of the company and the demand for its products or services. Making decisions requires timely and accurate information obtained from management information systems. The technology of digital twins is a relatively new technology, which proves its value day by day through optimization during the development of projects. This study presents the application model of digital twin technology, which uses the NFC (near-field communication) protocol for user authentication and authorization. As a bridge between the natural and digital, we use the digital twin to create a copy of the services in a digital environment. NFC technology dramatically simplifies the interaction between mobile accessories and allows data transfer between devices. Our model collects the data and allows storing, analyzing, and using them for different purposes. We tested the proposed model with the decision tree and the k-means algorithms. Accurate disease diagnosis in grape leaf analysis is heavily reliant on high-resolution (HR) images. To meet this need, we propose a model that incorporates the Enhanced Attention Block (EAB) to generate HR images for improved disease detection. The EAB employs advanced attention mechanisms and residual learning to effectively capture critical, spatial and channel-wise relationships. Proposed model is assessed using PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) and SSIM (Structural Similarity Index) metrics, yielding PSNR scores of 31. 902dB, 32.785dB, and 34. 853dB, and SSIM score of 0.8709, 0.9058, and 97.46 for factors 2,4 and 6 respectively. This proposed approach holds great potential for widespread implementation in disease detection across various plant species, allowing for timely and accurate interventions for plant health management and increasing industry productivity. © 2023 IEEE.

Floods can have significant life-threatening and economic impacts on human societies. Flood forecasting with data-driven methods is a crucial aspect of disaster risk management, providing valuable insights into potential flood events and allowing for timely mitigation measures. This work illustrates the application of a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) neural network for short-term forecasting of a river's water level. The water treatment data used for training the LSTM models were gathered from Sperchios river, located in central Greece. Historical time-series data in a half-hour interval of the river's water level, water velocity, and area precipitation were utilized for the development of the proposed scheme. The developed model is deployed in the backend of a web application for half-hour ahead predictions of the river's water level that are visualized in the frontend. The post-analysis of the deployed forecasting model indicates that it consistently delivers forecasts with minimal error and demonstrates high accuracy in recent flood events. © 2024 IEEE.

Rapid advances in deep learning and computer vision enable traditional cloud-based decision-making through edge computing with the Artificial Intelligent Internet of Things (AIoT) image sensors (AIoT-IS), thus improving the timeliness and security of image recognition. This study is indented to investigate the potential costs and benefits of AIoT-IS applications. This study summarizes AIoT-IS application scenarios for construction safety monitoring and proposes a cost/benefit analysis method for AIoT-IS implementation projects. According to the case study results, AIoT-IS achieves significant benefits, with a Net Present Value Index (NPVI) of 19.17% and a Benefit/Cost Ratio (BCR) of 4.65 as applied to construction site safety monitoring. Interviews with domain experts also provided qualitative feedback, pointing to the directions for future research. The proposed method is applicable for the decision-making of AIoT-IS adoption and the feasibility assessment of other innovative construction technologies.
