Current cloud-based systems face the challenge of managing storage and eliminating redundant data associated with the exponentially growing multimedia content, where numerous semantically similar but nonidentical files are included. In this paper we introduce a novel secure deduplication framework for encrypted cloud storage. This proposed system employs similarity-preserving hashing, fuzzy PoW protocol, and attribute-based encryption to perform efficient deduplication without compromising security and providing ownership verification. Security and deduplication rate scalability are improved over brute-force and ownership-faking attacks by dynamically varying thresholds based on file characteristics. Experimental evaluation shows that a 48% average deduplication rate and resistance to common attack vectors make it suitable for real-world cloud storage scenarios. The framework fills critical gaps in existing approaches and provides an innovative solution for dealing with similarity-aware data deduplication in privacy-sensitive environments. © 2025 IEEE.

The software development projects’ testing part is usually expensive and complex, but it is essential to gauge the effectiveness of the developed software. Software Fault Prediction (SFP) primarily serves to detect faults within software components. The scale of software projects is getting larger, making it impossible and time-consuming to analyze the flaws manually. Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques are mainly incorporated to solve this problem. The massive data retrieved from the software repositories helps in identifying the features that are highly correlated with fault prediction and the features that are not. This paper introduces a Kernel Extreme Learning Machine (KELM) for SFP. To optimize the hyperparameters of the classifier and also enhance the classification accuracy, the War Strategy Optimization (WSO) algorithm is employed here. The experimental evaluations are conducted using different baseline actual-world datasets of software programs such as Java-coded open-source and PROMISE datasets. The experimental outcomes are conducted using different performance metrics that include sensitivity, Accuracy, and F1-score with values of 0.96%, 0.97%, and 0.96%, respectively. The results show that KELM is beneficial, and the optimization provided by the WSO algorithm also helps us obtain higher classification accuracy for the SFP problem and improve the fault detection process. © The Institution of Engineers (India) 2024.

Question classification task based on deep learning models with self-attention mechanism

Question classification (QC) is a process that involves classifying questions based on their type to enable systems to provide accurate responses by matching the question type with relevant information. To understand and respond to natural language questions posed by humans, machine learning models or systems must comprehend the type of information requested, which can often be inferred from the structure and wording of the question. The high dimensionality and sparse nature of text data lead to challenges for text classification. These tasks can be improved using deep learning (DL) approaches to process complex patterns and features within input data. By training on large amounts of labeled data, deep learning algorithms can automatically extract relevant features and representations from text, resulting in more accurate and robust classification. This study utilizes a dataset comprising 5452 instances of questions and six output labels and uses two different word embedding techniques, like GloVe and Word2Vec, tested on the dataset using three deep learning models, LSTM, BiLSTM, and GRU, followed by a convolution layer. Additionally, a self-attention layer is included, which helps the model to focus on more relevant information when making predictions. Finally, an analytical discussion of the proposed models and their performance results provide insight into how GloVe and Word2Vec perform on the above-mentioned models. The GloVe embedding outperforms by achieving 97.68% accuracy and a moderate loss of 16.98 with the GRU model. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

In today's Internet routing infrastructure,designers have addressed scal-ing concerns in routing constrained multiobjective optimization problems examining latency and mobility concerns as a secondary *** tactical Mobile Ad-hoc Network(MANET),hubs can function based on the work plan in various social affairs and the internally connected hubs are almost having the related moving standards where the topology between one and the other are tightly coupled in steady support by considering the touchstone of hubs such as a self-sorted out,self-mending and *** in the routing process is one of the key aspects to increase MANET performance by coordinat-ing the pathways using multiple criteria and *** present a Group Adaptive Hybrid Routing Algorithm(GAHRA)for gathering portability,which pursues table-driven directing methodology in stable accumulations and on-request steering strategy for versatile *** on this aspect,the research demonstrates an adjustable framework for commuting between the table-driven approach and the on-request approach,with the objectives of enhancing the out-put of MANET routing computation in each *** analysis and replication results reveal that the proposed method is promising than a single well-known existing routing approach and is well-suited for sensitive MANET applications.

Real-Time Challenges and Opportunities for an Effective Resource Management in Multi-cloud Environment

As the usage of multi-cloud setups grows, resource management will become a major concern. Because of the dynamic nature of these environments, as well as fluctuating workloads and service-level targets, an effective algorithm for real-time resource allocation and optimisation is required. The Adaptive Multi-Cloud Resource Management Algorithm (AMCRMA) is proposed in this study to handle the obstacles and capitalise on the benefits of resource management in a multi-cloud context. To ensure optimal resource utilisation, cost effectiveness, and service performance, AMCRMA incorporates real-time monitoring, workload prediction, and intelligent resource allocation. Experiment results show that AMCRMA is successful in adapting to changing situations and managing resources in real time, resulting in enhanced resource utilisation and overall performance in multi-cloud systems. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Wireless sensor network (WSN) applications are added day by day owing to numerous global uses (by the military, for monitoring the atmosphere, in disaster relief, and so on). Here, trust management is a main challenge. Sensor nodes are important in wireless sensor networks, but they are easily depleted because of their short lifespan from continuous sensing activity and low battery capacity. So efficient energy utilization is a challenging task in a WSN. To minimize energy loss, clustering with an optimum path selection process is needed to retain energy in sensor nodes. This manuscript proposes multi-objective Pelican Optimization Algorithm (POA) routing to maintain energy efficiency and minimize transmission distances in wireless sensor networks. A cluster head (CH) is selected by using a Separable Convolution Neural Network (SCNN). Simulation outcomes prove the proposed technique attains 22.3% and 25.04% improvements in energy consumption when compared to the Multi-Objective CH Energy-aware Optimized Routing Approach at WSN (MOCH-EORA-WSN) and Multiple Optimum Cluster Head Multi-Objective Grasshopper Optimization with Harmony-search at WSN (MOCH-MOGOH-WSN), respectively. © 2024 institute of Electronics Engineers of Korea. IaaSI: a device based interoperability as a service for IoMT devices

Interoperability is a crucial aspect of the effective functioning of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, particularly in the healthcare industry. Although the use of IoT devices in healthcare has brought numerous benefits, such as remote sensing, monitoring, and data analysis, it has also introduced new challenges, notably in the area of interoperability. The lack of semantic and syntactic interoperability has hindered the ability of these devices to communicate and share data, leading to inefficiencies and limitations in their use. To address these challenges, this study proposes a solution that employs natural language processing (NLP) techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare IoT. Specifically, the solution utilizes Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) based string matching and Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) to facilitate data correlation with an existing vocabulary and a parser. The proposed approach was evaluated with real-world data from healthcare IoT devices, yielding an accuracy of 85.71% and an average processing delay of 0.46 s, thus demonstrating the potential of natural language processing techniques to enhance the interoperability of healthcare IoT devices. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

Introduces an innovative application of 5G MIMO data in singular value decomposition (SVD) focusing on deep learning beam-selection and intelligent network analytics. This research explores the potential of leveraging 5G MIMO data to enhance network performance and efficiency through advanced ML techniques. Deep learning algorithms are employed for beam-selection, optimizing the transmission of data in 5G networks to improve throughput and reliability. Intelligent network analytics are applied to extract valuable insights from the vast amount of data generated by 5G MIMO systems, enabling proactive network management and optimization. By harnessing the capabilities of deep learning and intelligent analytics, this research aims to address key challenges in 5G network optimization and management. The integration of SVD techniques with 5G MIMO data offers a novel approach to enhancing network performance, enabling more efficient utilization of resources and improved quality of service for users. The insights gained from intelligent network analytics facilitate informed decision-making and proactive maintenance leading to greater reliability and resilience in 5G networks. The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Learning (ML) technology has the capacity to transform agriculture via the improvement of precision agricultural methods. The proposed research work explores integration of IoT and ML in field of crop and fertilizer recommendation. Proposed system’s primary goal is to develop predictive models for determining the appropriate crop and fertilizer types based on various environmental and soil features. Using ML techniques, this research work aims to recommend the best crop and fertilizer combinations to optimize agricultural yield and sustainability. The collected data of IoT sensors give immediate soil health information, while ML algorithms analyze this data to recommends the most suitable crops and suggests the appropriate fertilizers. This integration promises to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability through data-oriented decision taking and resource efficient utilization. The proposed system has used four ML models as Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, CatBoost, and XGBoost for predictions by using precision, recall, accuracy and F1 score. The obtained results shows that best accuracy value among the models for recommending crop is 0.9909 and for recommending fertilizer is 0.9886. © 2025 IEEE.

The grading of fruits relies on inspections, experiences, and observations, with a proposed system integrating machine learning techniques to assess fruit freshness. By analyzing 2D fruit portrayals based on shape and color, limitations arise as different fruits may share similar color, size, and shape values. To enhance accuracy, the system combines size, shape, and color analysis with Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) technology. Upon capturing the fruit image, properties like size, shape, and color are extracted, followed by CNN training and testing processes. The proposed work have implements UNet and En-UNet chosen over other architectures like ResNet or MobileNet for segmentation. This innovative approach utilizes CNN to extract comprehensive features, yielding promising results in fruit freshness detection with accuracy of 99% and loss rate of 0.0123. © 2025 IEEE.
