The formation of droplets includes a wide range of sciences and researches Due to its expanded application in various industries and tools. The droplets forms the basis of many applications including: the fabrication and combination of new materials, the formulation of products for pharmaceutical use, cosmetics, and food industries. In this study, to produce these particles, a microfluidic device with flow focusing geometry has been used. Furthermore, the influence of some factors such as flow rate ratio, capillary number, and interfacial tension between two emulsions, channel diameter variation and channel angle variation on the physical process of formation and creation of droplets have been investigated. © 2017 IEEE.

With the development of information technology,a mass of data are generated every *** and analysing these data help service providers improve their services and gain an advantage in the fierce market competition.K-means clustering has been widely used for cluster analysis in real ***,these analyses are based on users’data,which disclose users’*** differential privacy has attracted lots of attention recently due to its strong privacy guarantee and has been applied for clustering ***,existing K-means clustering methods with local differential privacy protection cannot get an ideal clustering result due to the large amount of noise introduced to the whole dataset to ensure the privacy *** solve this problem,we propose a novel method that provides local distance privacy for users who participate in the clustering *** of making the users’records in-distinguish from each other in high-dimensional space,we map the user’s record into a one-dimensional distance space and make the records in such a distance space not be distinguished from each *** be specific,we generate a noisy distance first and then synthesize the high-dimensional data *** propose a Bounded Laplace Method(BLM)and a Cluster Indistinguishable Method(CIM)to sample such a noisy distance,which satisfies the local differential privacy guarantee and local dE-privacy guarantee,***,we introduce a way to generate synthetic data records in high-dimensional *** experimental evaluation results show that our methods outperform the traditional methods significantly.

Dualband antennas have many applications in small LEO satellites since use of these kinds of antennas makes satellite structure simpler, thus it win lead to a low cost and easy construction. Separated Turnstile Antenna (STA) can provide saddle-shaped and hemispherical patterns. Ability of dual_band operation of this antenna has been investigated in this paper and a dual band STA has been designed for the satellite. Its ability in making the arbitrary earth covering pattern for data communications and the omnidirectional pattern for satellite control has made a lot of applications in small LEO satellites. Wired model of STA is analyzed by Moment Method and its gain pattern, polarization and input impedance are calculated. Also, Effects of antenna geometrical parameters on its pattern and Input impedance have been researched and calculated in the paper. © 2004 IEEE.

Date palm(phoenix dactylifera),which is mostly found in the middle east countries such as Iran,Iraq,Saudi Arabia,and the United States(California)that play a significant role in the economical and the environmental condition in those *** main purpose of planting dates is its fruit,which is consumed as fresh,dried or processed *** are approximately 100 million date palm trees in the worldwide that 62 million of these trees located in the Middle East and North *** Saudi Arabia only,15000 tons of date palm leaves is prepared as waste *** leaves of date palm tree are used in several applications such as making ropes,baskets,and mats in many parts of the ***,the huge amount of the non-food products from the date palm remains as landfill materials without any specific *** attention to the date palm properties,the literature clearly showed that each part of date palm has great potential to be used for a variety of applications such as:making paper,absorption of heavy and toxic metals,energy production and soil *** of the obstacles and solutions for using palm date in these applications were also *** these issues and their solutions,the date palm is a favorable *** some limited and traditional uses of these palm wastes,this review considered date palm applications and the properties’of the most important part of that tree in recent researches and related issues for future research are also spotted.

Despite all the unique features multilevel converters offer, their high number of required power switches has restricted their implementation to particular applications. To mitigate this problem, a novel multilevel ac/ac converter is proposed in this paper which utilises less number of semiconductor devices in its structure. The proposed converter is achieved by cascading recently introduced reduced switch count ac/ac converter and is comparable in performance to cascaded h-bridge multilevel converters except that it is an ac/ac converter capable of working in regenerative mode. The proposed configuration retains all the features of CHB MLIs such as low output voltage distortion, reduced dv/dt stresses, low distortion input ac current and modular structure. Moreover, compared to conventional CHB converters, the number of switches and related drive circuits are reduced in the proposed converter by 25%. The novel structure is introduced, its generalized carrier based modulation scheme is elaborated and a control method is suggested for it. The validity of operation of the proposed system is verified through simulation. © 2011 AmirKabir Univ of Tech.

This paper discusses a method of open circuit voltage (OCV) estimation system for lithium-ion batteries based on the join method of Kalman filter and RLS method. We set mean filter to improve the stability of RC parameter estimation. As result, the propose method performs stable and accurate estimation in each test pattern. © 2020 IEEE.

A Telecare System for Use in Traditional Persian Medicine

Background: In Persian Medicine (PM), measuring the wrist temperature/humidity and pulse is one of the main methods for determining a person's health status and temperament. An important problem is the dependence of the diagnosis on the physician's interpretation of the above-mentioned criteria. Perhaps this is one reason why this method has yet to be combined with modern medical methods. Also, sometimes there is a need to use PM to diagnose patients remotely, especially during a pandemic. This brings up the question of how to implement PM into a telecare system. This study addresses these concerns and outlines a system for measuring pulse signals and temperament detection based on PM. Methods: A system was designed and clinically implemented based on PM that uses data from recorded thermal distribution, a temperament questionnaire, and a customized device that logs the pulse waves on the wrist. This system was used for patient care via telecare. Results: The temperaments of 34 participants were assessed by a PM specialist using the standardized Mojahedi Mizaj Questionnaire (MMQ). Thermal images of the wrist in the supine position (named Malmas in PM), the back of the hand, and the entire face were also recorded under the supervision of the physician. Also, the wrist pulse waves were evaluated by a customized pulse measurement device. Finally, the collected data could be sent to a physician via a telecare system for further interpretation and prescription of medications. Conclusion: This preliminary study focused on the implementation of a combinational hardware-software system for patient assessment based on PM. It appears that the design and construction of a customized device that can measure the pulse waves, and some other criteria, according to PM, is possible and can decrease the dependency of the diagnostic to PM specialists. Thus, it can be incorporated into a telemedicine system. © 2021 Nafisi and Ghods.

Distributed concolic testing (DCT) for complex programs takes a remarkable computational time. Also, the achieved modified condition/decision coverage (MC/DC) for such programs is often inadequate. We propose an improved DCT approach that reduces the computational time and simultaneously enhanced the MC/DC. We have named our approach SMCDCT (scalable MC/DC percentage calculator using DCT). Mechanical properties of （Cu50Zr43Al7）100 Nbx （x=0,1,3,6,9） bulk metallic glasses rods with a diameter of 2.5 mm prepared by suction casting method were studied. The results of uniaxial compression tests at room temperture show that the best mechanical properties of 2.8% and 1.98 GPa for plastic strain and fracture strength, respectively, in the sample with x=3. Microstructure, fracture surface and shear bands of the samples were observed by SEM and XRD methods.
