A review of emerging hydroforming technologies: design considerations, parametric studies, and recent innovations

Hydroforming is a modern metal-forming process prominently used in the shipbuilding, aerospace, and automotive industries for forming lightweight, complex-shaped geometries due to their inherent process benefits. But this process faces challenges such as limited material selection, high tooling costs, and complex process control for obtaining a defect-free part with uniform thickness. Researchers are constantly innovating and advancing hydroforming technologies to overcome these limitations. This work reviews emerging tube and sheet hydroforming technologies, considering parametric effects and design considerations, particularly for micro-domain applications. Further, a wider acceptance of the hydroforming process in different industries is explored by discussing the studies that tried to improve the efficiency and quality of the hydroforming process. This study observed that better formability could be achieved in hydroforming with appropriate intermediate heat treatment, proper lubrication, the correct design of loading paths, and temperature distribution. In tube hydroforming, wrinkles, necking, and cracking observed to be largely reduced by properly selecting the internal pressure and feeding. The precise protrusion height and uniform thickness at different joint cross-sections in tube forming are found to be significantly influenced by the strain-hardening exponent, loading path, and friction coefficient. Electrohydraulic forming is found being increasingly used due to its higher productivity and lower product cost. However, further research is required to achieve complex sheet geometries with sharp corners. This research emphasizes that advanced research, artificial intelligence integration, and the exploration of alternative materials can improve the performance of the hydroforming process. © The Author(s) 2024.

Variational autoencoders (VAEs) highly important in the fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence because of their versatility and effectiveness in various applications. The current study aims to investigate the application of deep learning models to reduce dimensionality and extract valuable properties from computer-Aided Design (CAD) models. With an emphasis on the shaft model, this research study described a novel method for data compression and reconstruction of the CAD model using VAEs. The Python programming language is used in the study, together with its numerous libraries and frameworks for deep learning and data processing. The suggested method aims to reduce storage requirements, improve data accessibility, and preserve the integrity of the original CAD models, making an important contributions to the disciplines of CAD, data compression, and artificial intelligence. The findings of the research suggested that a variational autoencoder with a rectified linear unit (ReLU) provides a better correlation of approximately 95% between extracted and constructed data. © The Institution of Engineers (India) 2024.

This study critically examines the limitations of traditional learning methods, such as cramming, re-reading, and massed practice, which often result in suboptimal long-term retention and understanding. The paper proposes an integrated approach, emphasizing the pivotal role of Spaced Repetition alongside other evidence-based techniques. By exploring Active Recall, Desirable Difficulties, Elaboration, Interleaving, Concrete Examples, Dual Coding, and Distributed Practice, this research harmonizes cognitive psychology and neuroscience principles. The integrated approach outlined in the paper aims to enhance memory, comprehension, and problem-solving, catering to learners of diverse paces and abilities. The essence of evidence-based learning is embodied in the strategies presented, promising effective and enduring knowledge acquisition. Ultimately, this paper offers insights for educators and students, demonstrating practical applications for teaching and learning that leverage these evidence-based techniques, particularly emphasizing the significance of Spaced Repetition. © 2024 IEEE.

Software programmers may get gradually precise at expecting consequences without being clearly coded using machine learning techniques. Machine learning is based on the idea that models and algorithms may collect input data then utilize statistical investigation to determine an output, while updating results as information become obtainable, as underlying principle. For example, models may be adapted and trained to meet management expectations so that correct measures are followed to reach a certain goal. Wall Mart, a one-stop shopping mall, has been used in this system to estimate sales of various products and to study impact that various variables have on sales of products. Predictive models may be built using different features of a Wall Mart dataset and methods used to construct them, and these findings can be used to make better business choices. This Predictive Algorithm is used in many fields over the market world for their profitability. Recently, Lot of companies are going to used this Machine Learning for better AI and new technologies in market. This report Includes combination of machine learning algorithm and Features engineering to predict Walmart sales. The research topic of this paper primarily solves the problems of Walmart sales forecasting that is provided by the Kaggle competition. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

Every year, there are about 170,000–220,000 car accidents each year that involve fire. The cause of the fire ranges from collision, engine malfunction, electric short circuits, and many more. Irrespective of the cause, the damage incurred is close to $2 billion in direct property damage and in severe accidents, even the passengers’ lives. The rapid detection and timely notification of fire incidents are crucial for minimizing property damage and ensuring public safety. The current vehicle fire safety system relies on manual notification, leading to delayed responses and potential risks, especially in low-density areas and nighttime scenarios. Additionally, the lack of proactive fire detection technology hinders early identification, increasing the likelihood of extensive damage and harm to passengers. This paper proposes an integrated alert system automatically notifies fire stations, hospitals, and police upon fire detection, streamlining coordination and reducing response times. Rigorous evaluations are undertaken to assess the system's accuracy, sensitivity, and reliability under various conditions, solidifying its efficacy in addressing vehicle fire incidents. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

E-commerce has revolutionized the retail landscape, offering consumers unparalleled convenience and a vast array of choices from the comfort of their homes. Enabling e-commerce in native languages is crucial for creating an inclusive shopping experience, allowing businesses to effectively reach and engage diverse linguistic communities. India is renowned for its multilingual and cultural legacy and this work is an attempt to reach a wider consumer base and increase market potential in India by providing online shopping for cultural festivals. The proposed work is an attempt to develop native language E-commerce platform for various festivals celebrated in India by using Large Language Models (LLM) to generate contextually rich and relevant contents making the user experience more intuitive and personalized. Finally, we talk about making search features better by using modern technology. By using smart algorithms and models, we help users search for products in their own language, and show them results that are most relevant to what they're looking for. Through careful testing and analysis, we show that our solution works well in improving how people interact with e-commerce websites, reaching more customers, and making more sales. Our research is important because it helps bridge the language gap online, giving businesses new opportunities to grow and making online shopping more accessible for everyone. © 2025 IEEE.

The first step in preventing losses in agricultural product output and quantity is the identification of plant diseases. The study of patterns that are visible to the human eye on plants is referred to as plant disease research. Plant disease identification and health monitoring are essential for sustainable agriculture. Manually keeping an eye on plant diseases is really challenging. It necessitates an enormous amount of processing time, a great deal of labor, and knowledge of plant diseases. Therefore, plant disease detection uses image processing. A number of processes are involved in disease detection, including feature extraction, classification, segmentation, pre-processing, and image acquisition. This study examined techniques for identifying plant illnesses using photos of their leaves. A few segmentation and feature extraction techniques for plant disease identification were also covered in this work. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

technology is an indication of energy use, and specifically, the use of electricity plays a significant role in impacting the environment. As technology continues to advance, the importance of sustainability grows, ensuring that our innovations do not come at the cost of ecological balance. The research aims to discuss green computing and sustainability in data centers based on concepts involving application, facility, and sustainability measures. To solve these challenges, it is suggested that resolutions be made to accelerate the optimal algorithms, adopt an energy-saving language, and adhere to sustainable software development practices. In this context, programming languages are compared in terms of their power consumption, supported by graphics. The outcomes of the experiment demonstrate the potential for energy savings through efficient, sustainably implemented coding and confirm the importance of green software. © 2024 IEEE.

Audio cues enunciate recognized items and distances in real time for accessibility. This combination of precise visual recognition, spatial metrics, and assistive feedback holds promise for enhanced mobility, independence, and safety during navigation for visually impaired individuals. © 2024 IEEE.
