Clinical auxiliary decision-making is related to life and health of patients, so the deep model needs to extract the personalised representation of patients to ensure high analysis and prediction accuracy;and provide a basis for prediction conclusions. In this context, a clinical deep model proposed an interpretable assessment method of patient health status based on contextual learning of medical features, encoding the time-series features of each variable separately, and using a multi-head de-coordination self-attention mechanism for learning Relationships between different features;feature skip-connection encoding based on a compressed excitation mechanism is proposed to improve the sensitivity of the model. © 2024 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Gastrointestinal diseases like ulcers, polyps’, and bleeding areincreasing rapidly in the world over the last decade. On average 0.7 millioncases are reported worldwide every year. The main cause of gastrointestinaldiseases is a Helicobacter Pylori (H. Pylori) bacterium that presents in morethan 50% of people around the globe. Many researchers have proposeddifferent methods for gastrointestinal disease using computer vision *** of them focused on the detection process and the rest of themperformed classification. The major challenges that they faced are the similarityof infected and healthy regions that misleads the correct classificationaccuracy. In this work, we proposed a technique based on Mask Recurrent-Convolutional Neural Network (R-CNN) and fine-tuned pre-trainedResNet-50 and ResNet-152 networks for feature extraction. Initially, the region ofinterest is detected using Mask R-CNN which is later utilized for the trainingof fine-tuned models through transfer learning. Features are extracted fromfine-tuned models that are later fused using a serial approach. Moreover, anImproved Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm has also opted for thebest feature selection from the fused feature vector. The best-selected featuresare finally classified using machine learning techniques. The experimentalprocess was conducted on the publicly available dataset and obtained animproved accuracy of 96.43%. In comparison with state-of-the-art techniques,it is observed that the proposed accuracy is improved.

The accessibility and dependability of voting systems have the potential to be significantly improved by technological improvements. In order to address the problem of providing voters with a reliable and secure identity, the research suggests combining biometric authentication with technology that is connected to the Internet of Things (IoT). Voters may have their identities validated in real time at voting locations using Internet of Things sensors if the devices record distinctive biometric characteristics such as fingerprints, iris patterns, or facial features. Through the utilization of biometric data, secure QR codes, and voter identification cards, this type of multifactor authentication seeks to enhance the level of security. By concealing real biometric data while yet allowing for precise identification matching, biometric template protection can be of assistance in addressing privacy concerns. In order to accommodate a huge number of votes and a variety of users, this system has been developed to be both user-friendly and scalable. The proposed voting system has the goals of reducing the number of instances in which voters pass themselves off as other people, improving accessibility for people of all demographics, and creating a voting environment that is more transparent and trustworthy. © 2024 IEEE.

Medical Internet of Things (MIoT) and healthcare have lately converged, which has led to novel techniques to identifying and treating medical troubles. This research gives a completely unique method that utilizes the Internet of Things (IoT) to combine Automatic Modulation Recognition (AMR) with Breast Cancer (BC) categorization. In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, visual impairment poses significant challenges for approximately 17.5% of school-aged children, mainly due to refractive errors. These challenges extend to everyday navigation, environmental interaction, and overall life quality. Motivated by the desire to empower visually impaired individuals, who face navigational limitations, difficulties in object recognition, and inadequate assistance from traditional technologies, we propose SightAid. This innovative wearable vision system utilizes a deep learning-based framework, addressing the gaps left by current assistive solutions. Traditional methods, such as canes and GPS devices, often fail to meet the nuanced and dynamic needs of the visually impaired, especially in accurately identifying objects, understanding complex environments, and providing essential real-time feedback for independent navigation. SightAid comprises a seven-phase framework involving data collection, preprocessing, and training of a sophisticated deep neural network with multiple convolutional and fully connected layers. This system is integrated into smart glasses with augmented reality displays, enabling real-time object detection and recognition. Interaction with users is facilitated through audio or haptic feedback, informing them about the location and type of objects detected. A continuous learning mechanism, incorporating user feedback and new data, ensures the system's ongoing refinement and adaptability. For performance assessment, we utilized the MNIST dataset, and an Indoor Objects Detection dataset tailored for the visually impaired, featuring images of everyday objects crucial for safe indoor navigation. SightAid demonstrates remarkable performance with accuracy up to 0.9874, recall values between 0.98 and 0.99, F1-scores ranging from 0.98 to 0.99, and AUC-ROC values reaching as high as 0.9999. Analysis of Bio Inspired Based Hybrid Learning Model for Software Defect Prediction

The software’s quality can be ensured through software testing, which is one of the critical methods. However, it was found that testing consumes more than half of the project's total expenses. Effective and efficient software testing utilizes minimal software resources to find as many flaws in the software system as possible. This paper presents research on software defect prediction using hybrid machine learning algorithm. The algorithm incorporates the benefits of supervised as well as unsupervised learning methodology that improves the accuracy of defect prediction. The study uses publicly available datasets from the open source PROMISE repository provided by NASA MDP to perform machine learning analysis and maximize accuracy. In particular, the study suggested a hybrid learning model and conducted a comparative analysis among Naïve Bayes, Multilayer Perceptron, Random Forest, CNN, Adaboost, and KNN on four different datasets namely CM1, KC1, KC2 and PC1. With respect to F1-score, accuracy, precision, and recall, the results show that the hybrid method performed better than the other methods. The study achieved an accuracy of 93.67% (BAT + CNN) on PC1 dataset, 92% on (Bat + CNN) for CM1 and KC1 respectively. This indicates that the hybrid learning technique of (BAT + CNN) is more potent than other methodologies in prediction of defects. The research can help software development teams identify potential bugs early on, leading to efficient and effective software creation. One useful approach for predicting software defects is the hybrid machine learning method, which can lead to improved software quality and lower maintenance costs. This aids the software testing phase by predicting the faulty modules with better accuracy thereby reducing the testing effort. The popularity of Human Activity Recognition (HAR) as a research topic has increased because of its many applications. New approaches to HAR concerns have emerged as a result of deep learning. Here, a deep network architecture based on residual bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) is recommended. The ability of a bidirectional link to integrate the forward state of positive time and the backward state of negative time is one advantage of the new network. Second, the gradient vanishing problem is successfully solved because remaining connections between stacked cells allow gradients to function as a shortcut. In order to raise the recognition rate, the proposed network generally shows improvements on the spatial (stacked residual connections) and theoretical (using bidirectional cells) dimensions. An optical vortex-based asymmetric cryptosystem using QZ modulation for the double image encryption in the gyrator transform

The current study proposes a new nonlinear cryptosystem that employs complex phase masks named as optical vortices (OVs) which are obtained from the phases of the radial Hilbert mask (RHM) and Toroidal Fresnel lens (TFL). The security keys used in classical optical cryptosystems are often random phase masks (RPMs), which are vulnerable to various forms of attacks including brute force attacks. To create complex images in the frequency domain with the current encryption, the amplitude images are first phase encoded, after which the OV phase mask is used to modulate them. The complex images are further processed with QZ decomposition resulting in two upper quasi-triangular matrices, two unitary matrices, and decryption keys in the gyrator transform (GT). The use of OVs, QZ decomposition and gyrator transform settings provides additional keys to expand the key space. The proposed method is asymmetric, and the decryption process requires the private keys generated during encryption. The performance of the scheme has been evaluated in terms of mean-squared-error (MSE), peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), SSIM, histograms, entropy analysis, correlation analysis, noise and occlusion attacks. Numerical simulations are presented to validate the proposed encryption method in terms of its strength and reliability. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

In past decades, scientific research has explored various bat detection systems methods, a common trend to identify heterogeneous species of bats. In this article, we represented an ultrasonic bat detection and protection method by interfacing an IoT automated device for the first time in agriculture development to introduce steady security in a preventive way. The automated bat banisher system is an effectual model for farmers to protect their land at a very affordable cost from nuisance bats. Moreover, the highest-quality fruits are the ones that bats choose to eat when they attack. This prevents the farmer from getting the best possible yield, Farmers have tried everything from handcrafted sound systems and medication to nets and traps to get rid of the bats, but they have yet to be effective. We created an Internet of Things-based automated bat banisher to combat bats invading farms. In this research, our High-Frequency Ultrasound (IoT automated) System has the potential to save farmers money, time, and effort. Farmers may increase agricultural output to provide the highest suitable fruit supply.
