Wireless Network Coding System encrypts data as it travels via intermediate nodes for secure data transmission, Wormhole attackers choose one of the nodes to target. The attacked node tries to attack other nodes, forming a wormhole tunnel in the process. When a wormhole attack is launched, Information bundles on one or the other side of the wormhole connection can be caught, sent through the wormhole connection, and rebroadcast on the other hub. Network coding has been proved to be an excellent method for improving the performance of wireless systems. To detect wormholes, a centralized approach is presented initially, and its accuracy is rigorously demonstrated. A circulated discovery calculation against wormhole in remote organization coding frameworks is proposed. The assaulting hubs are caught on the two sides of the organization, and afterward isolated from the remainder of the organization. Bundle misfortune is brought about by assaulted hubs;to avoid packet loss, data is transmitted by separating the attacked node from the network. By separating the attacked nodes from the source node to the destination node, the packets are retransmitted. The shortest path across the path that is not affected is determined and the packets are attempted to transmit from the source to send the packets effectively and successfully. © 2022 IEEE.

We investigate the viability of using legacy fiber infrastructure to support future smart cities using distributed fiber optic sensing (DFOS) for traffic control. We carry out a field trial using fibers installed along the university campus and a dedicated camera for traffic parameter estimation. The novel YOLOv8 pattern recognition model applied to recorded video sequences is used as a reference to validate the implemented phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflectometer (ϕ-OTDR). The collected ϕ-OTDR data is manually annotated and compared to the YOLOv8 data used as ground truth. The results indicate that the implemented ϕ-OTDR setup successfully detects heavy vehicle traffic.

This paper presents a novel digital self-interference cancellation (DSIC) technique in full-duplex radios supporting simultaneous transmission and reception (STAR). Key to the design approach is the development of a behavioral model of the full-duplex radio front-end at the digital baseband. An auxiliary receiver (RX) chain is deployed to capture the transmitter (TX) chain and the leakage channel response. The leaked signal is digitally reconstructed and analog cancellation is performed at the low-noise amplifier (LNA) input to prevent desensitization. The cancellation algorithm is developed on a $16-\text{nm}$ AMDXilinx radio frequency system-on-chip (RFSoC) incorporating gigasample speed data converters and field programmable gate array (FPGA) on the same chip. The architecture is directly implemented on the programmable logic (PL) and the model coefficients are calculated offline in the ARM processor of the SoC. The hardware demonstration employs a reduced number of off-the-shelf analog components that provide an impressive digital cancellation of 20 dB for a maximum modulation bandwidth of 400 MHz.

To efficiently provide coverage for the machines and robots in remote areas, satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) can be utilized. In such scenarios, UAVs need to integrate different functions to support the control tasks of robots efficiently, while satellites can serve as backhaul to the cloud. To improve the overall performance of the closed-loop control tasks of robots, we jointly optimize the communication and computing resource allocation with data offloading. Specif-ically, we explore the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) cost to measure the control performance and formulate a sum LQR cost minimization problem. An iterative algorithm is proposed to solve the optimization problem. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme. © 2024 IEEE.

Visible light communication(VLC)has a paramount role in industrial implementations,especially for better energy efficiency,high speed-data rates,and low susceptibility to ***,since studies on VLC for industrial implementations are in scarcity,areas concerning illumination optimisation and communication performances demand further *** such,this paper presents a new modelling of light fixture distribution for a warehouse model to provide acceptable illumination and communication *** proposed model was evaluated based on various semi-angles at half power(SAAHP)and different height levels for several parameters,including received power,signal to noise ratio(SNR),and bit error rate(BER).The results revealed improvement in terms of received power and SNR with 30 Mbps data *** modulations were studied to improve the link quality,whereby better average BER values of 5.55×10^(−15) and 1.06×10^(−10) had been achieved with 4 PAM and 8 PPM,*** simulation outcomes are indeed viable for the practical warehouse model.

Exa-scale supercomputing is the prime target for the supercomputers. To reach at that point, supercomputers require redesigning the interconnection networks to support high network scalability, suitable network performance, low cost-performance ratio, low power usage, high fault-tolerance, low network congestion and high throughput with low latency. Among the thousand of interconnection networks, one of the most capable one is 3D-TESH, is a hierarchical interconnection network (HIN) interconnected with multiple basic modules (basic modules are basically treated as single on-chip network), where each on-chip network is similar to a 3Dmesh network and off-chip network are built using the 2Dtorus connections. Some static network parameters as well as dynamic communication performance (on-chip level) had been studied earlier for 3DTESH, which ensured the high significance of this network in comparing with others. Moreover, in case of power consumption, it requires about 41% less router power than 5Dtorus at the on-chip level. In this paper, we like to evaluate some other important static parameters like- packing density, fault tolerance, wiring complexity, cost effectiveness factor and etc. Here, we found that 3D-TESH yields much better results than network like - 3Dmesh, 2Dmesh, 2Dtorus, TESH and even the 3Dtorus. © 2022 IEEE.

In the ever-evolving field of artificial neural networks and learning systems, complex-valued neural networks (CVNNs) have become a cornerstone, achieving exceptional performance in image processing and telecommunications. More precisely, in digital communication systems, CVNNs have been delivering significant results in tasks like equalization, channel estimation, beamforming, and decoding. Among the CVNN architectures, the complex-valued radial basis function neural network (C-RBF) stands out, especially when operating in noisy environments such as 5G multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. In such a context, this paper extends the classical shallow C-RBF to deep architectures, increasing its flexibility for a wider range of applications. Also, based on the parameter selection of the phase transmittance radial basis function (PT-RBF) neural network, we propose an initialization scheme for the deep C-RBF. Via rigorous simulations conforming to 3GPP TS 38 standards for digital communications, our method not only outperforms conventional initialization strategies like random, K-means, and constellation-based methods but it also seems to be the only approach to achieve successful convergence for deep C-RBF architectures. These findings pave the way to more robust and efficient neural network deployments in complex-valued digital communication systems. © 2024, CC BY.

This study proposes the design and analysis of an 8-way power divider for unequal division at 5.3 GHz for C band frequency. Many transmission line pieces make up the current power divider. These Transmission lines were printed on a substrate material (RT/duroid 5880, 1.6 mm thick, permittivity 2.2, and loss tangent 0.0002).The 8-way power divider's unequal amplitudes are constructed using Taylor's 1-parameter method to achieve the side projections levels - 17 dB down as from main *** proposed power divider consists of using 2 transmission lines with a 3/4 frequency are connected to branched microstriplines, providing excellent isolation and matching between the power divider's two output ports. This power divider is composed of three stages. A 1:2 power divider is used in the first stage, a 1:4 power divider is used in the second stage, and a 1:8 power divider is used in the third stage. According to the simulation results, 1:2 delivers half of the input power, 1:4 produces one-fourth of the power, and 1:8 delivers one-eighth of the input *** of these assessments were done with the Advanced Design System (ADS) simulation programme. According to both simulated and measured data, the return loss exceeds -35 dB, and the isolation across the output terminals exceeds -40 dB. The proposed circuit operates effectively at C-band frequencies in terms of return loss and isolation (4GHz and 8GHz). © 2024 IEEE.

Information Rates of Successive Interference Cancellation for Optical Fiber

Joint detection and decoding (JDD) achieves rates based on information theory but is too complex to implement for many channels with memory or nonlinearities. Successive interference cancellation (SIC) at the receiver, combined with multistage encoding at the transmitter, is a method that lets one use coded modulation for memoryless channels to approach JDD rates. A SIC-based receiver is presented to compensate for inter-channel interference in long-haul optical fiber links. Simulations for 1000 km of standard single-mode fiber with ideal distributed Raman amplification, single-polarization transmission, and circularly symmetric complex Gaussian (CSCG) modulation show that SIC attains the achievable information rates (AIRs) of JDD using surrogate channel models with correlated phase and additive noise (CPAN). Moreover, the AIRs of ring constellations are compared to those of CSCG modulation. Simulations show that 32 rings, 16 SIC-stages, and Gaussian message passing on the factor graph of the CPAN surrogate model achieve the JDD rates of CSCG modulation. The computational complexity scales in proportion to the number of SIC-stages, where one stage has complexity similar to separate detection and decoding. Copyright © 2024, The Authors.
