The mission of classifying remote sensing pictures based on their contents has a range of applications in a variety of *** recent years,a lot of interest has been generated in researching remote sensing image scene *** sensing image scene retrieval,and scene-driven remote sensing image object identification are included in the Remote sensing image scene understanding(RSISU)*** the last several years,the number of deep learning(DL)methods that have emerged has caused the creation of new approaches to remote sensing image classification to gain major breakthroughs,providing new research and development possibilities for RS image classification.A new network called Pass Over(POEP)is proposed that utilizes both feature learning and end-to-end learning to solve the problem of picture scene comprehension using remote sensing imagery(RSISU).This article presents a method that combines feature fusion and extraction methods with classification algorithms for remote sensing for scene *** benefits(POEP)include two *** multi-resolution feature mapping is done first,using the POEP connections,and combines the several resolution-specific feature maps generated by the CNN,resulting in critical advantages for addressing the variation in RSISU data ***,we are able to use Enhanced pooling tomake the most use of themulti-resolution feature maps that include second-order *** enablesCNNs to better cope with(RSISU)issues by providing more representative feature *** data for this paper is stored in a UCI dataset with 21 types of *** the beginning,the picture was pre-processed,then the features were retrieved using RESNET-50,Alexnet,and VGG-16 integration of *** characteristics have been amalgamated and sent to the attention layer,after this characteristic has been fused,the process of classifying the data will take *** utilize an ensemble classifier in our classification a

In Software-Defined Networks(SDNs),determining how to efficiently achieve Quality of Service(QoS)-aware routing is challenging but critical for significantly improving the performance of a network,where the metrics of QoS can be defined as,for example,average latency,packet loss ratio,and *** SDN controller can use network statistics and a Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL)method to resolve this *** this paper,we formulate dynamic routing in an SDN as a Markov decision process and propose a DRL algorithm called the Asynchronous Advantage Actor-Critic QoS-aware Routing Optimization Mechanism(AQROM)to determine routing strategies that balance the traffic loads in the *** can improve the QoS of the network and reduce the training time via dynamic routing strategy updates;that is,the reward function can be dynamically and promptly altered based on the optimization objective regardless of the network topology and traffic *** can be considered as one-step optimization and a black-box routing mechanism in high-dimensional input and output sets for both discrete and continuous states,and actions with respect to the operations in the *** simulations were conducted using OMNeT++and the results demonstrated that AQROM 1)achieved much faster and stable convergence than the Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient(DDPG)and Advantage Actor-Critic(A2C),2)incurred a lower packet loss ratio and latency than Open Shortest Path First(OSPF),DDPG,and A2C,and 3)resulted in higher and more stable throughput than OSPF,DDPG,and A2C.

In this paper, a model for the master-slave DC Microgrid over a fiber optic link is proposed. The delay margin is calculated according to Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional using the LMI toolbox in Matlab with the binary iteration algorithm. The optical fiber link is implemented using optisystem simulator. The optical fiber link is set to transmit the digitalized reference current from master controller to the slave controller. The link tested at 100Mbps, 1Gbps and 2.5Gbps data rate values and several optical fiber lengths and wavelength of 1550nm and 1400nm. The results show that the performance of the link is sufficient at received power more than -30dBm for all data rate values at 1550nm. While at 1400nm, the attenuation rate is very high. Therefore, the link must be 10km to achieve acceptable performance. This wavelength is used in this simulation to avoid the C band and O band, which used for telecommunication purposes. © 2025 IEEE.

In this paper, we propose a new type of deep learning (DL)-based localization for the urban NLoS scenarios, termed Intelligent Localization via Spatial Information Embedding (I-LOSIE). In I-LOSIE, we train the deep neural network (DNN) to identify the location of the wireless device by using the combination of the uplink measurements and the position and size of the obstacles (we call these spatial information). From the extensive numerical evaluations, we show that the proposed I-LOSIE achieves the high-resolution localization in the wireless environments with high density of obstacles..

Many people want to learn spoken English but are hesitant to speak up when they see others, which hinders their ability to improve their speaking skills quickly. This paper introduces a cloud-based speech recognition system that can determine whether the user's spoken English is correct, serving as a basis for deciding whether to proceed to the next stage of instruction. Additionally, this system utilizes PoseNet to recognize if the user leaves their seat and a convolutional neural network to recognize learning emotion. The system pauses the class if the user leaves their seat or appears confused. Then, the user can press a continue button to resume the class. Accordingly, the proposed system prevents the user from falling behind or leaving the seat for other reasons while the system continues the lesson. Experimental results demonstrate that this system significantly enhances English-speaking proficiency. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2023.

The accurate evaluation and efficient treatment of mental health problems, such as depression, continue to be difficult due to the complicated underlying causes and diverse signs and symptoms. In this study, the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Explainable AI (XAI) offers a transformative approach to mental health care, surpassing traditional systems in conversational relevance, empathy, and risk detection. The proposed hybrid framework leverages LLMs’ contextual understanding and XAI’s transparency to deliver inclusive, personalized, and trustworthy mental health interventions. BioBERT (bio-medical bidirectional encoder representations from transformers) is being used as LLM which produces vector representations for questions and answers, encapsulating the semantic content and context of biomedical language. These vector representations are then saved for future use, guaranteeing efficient retrieval during the query phase. It is followed by utilization of bi-directional gated recurrent unit (Bi-GRU) to analyze vector representations in both forward and backward directions, therefore capturing temporal connections essential for comprehending emotions and contextual refinements.

Backscatter communication (BackCom) networks are expected to provide ultra-low-power transmission and massive connectivity in future wireless communication systems. Nevertheless, the double-fading effect significantly reduces signal intensity and is a primary problem of modern BackCom systems. Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) can artificially modify the wireless environment through numerous controllable reflecting elements. With the help of RIS, the desired signals in the BackCom procedure can be captured and reflected in the specified direction, which is able to alleviate the double-fading problem. Specifically, RIS can be a backscatter device to send information instead of a collaborator to enhance transmission, yielding the RIS-BackCom mechanism. However, a comprehensive review of this technique still needs to be made available, dramatically limiting its development. This paper presents the fundamental principles and functions of legacy BackCom systems, the RIS technique, and RIS-BackCom networks. Then, we discuss the system-level performance with different modulation and channel estimation approaches. Further, we introduce symbiotic radio (SR) networks developed from the RIS-BackCom technique. After that, we provide a survey on diverse optimization issues existing in the applications of RIS-BackCom networks. Finally, we envision emerging use scenarios, potential challenges, and possible solutions in future wireless communication networks. © 1998-2012 IEEE.

In the modern era of rapidly advancing technology, organizations across various sectors are continuously seeking innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall productivity. One area that significantly impacts these goals is the management of employee/student attendance. Traditional manual attendance tracking methods often lead to inaccuracies, inefficiencies, and increased administrative overhead. Recognizing this challenge, this proposal is to bring forth developing a microcontroller-based implementation of a Fingerprint-Based Attendance System. The system uses the power of biometric authentication to improve how attendance is recorded and managed. Firstly, this system provides real-time attendance tracking, reducing the delay in data processing and enabling immediate access to attendance records. Secondly, the proposed system ensures a high level of accuracy in attendance recording. Thirdly, this system promotes enhanced security. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, the performance of circularly polarized (CP) adaptive sub-arrays integrated into 5G laptop device is investigated in the presence of a whole-body human phantom model. In addition, the radiation effect of the steered beam patterns has been analyzed by calculating the specific absorption rate distribution and temperature rise. In this target, a single-feed CP antenna element has been firstly designed to resonate at 28GHz with high realized gain and radiation efficiency. Then, 4 subarrays have been constructed in a rectangular configuration with four-elements for each sub-array. To let the study more realistic, a complete human model is considered to investigate the radiation effects. The measured reflection coefficient and realized gain results of the designed antenna element are found to be -30 dB and 7.82 dB, respectively, in the assigned frequency band. Likewise, the antennas sub-arrays have approximately kept the same impedance matching attitude with high insertion loss of -22 dB and a realized gain and radiation efficiency of 16.85 dB and 86%, respectively, on average. Furthermore, the sub-arrays scan patterns and coverage efficiency have been studied considering the existence of the human body in different scenarios. Regarding the RF exposure, the results show that the resultant maximum values of specific absorption rate and power density do not exceed 1.52 W/kg and 3.5W/m2, respectively, whereas the maximum exposure temperature in such a case is less than 2.8°C after 30 minutes and decreases to 0.5°C after a penetration depth of 3mm which reflects the possibility of safe use. © 2021, Electromagnetics Academy. We study how high charging rate demands from electric vehicles (EVs) in a power distribution grid may collectively cause its dynamic instability, and, accordingly, how a price incentivization strategy can be used to steer customers to settle for lesser charging rate demands so that these instabilities can be avoided. We pose the problem as a joint optimization and optimal control formulation. The optimization determines the optimal charging setpoints for EVs to minimize the $\mathcal{H}_{2}- \mathbf{norm}$ of the transfer function of the grid model, while the optimal control simultaneously develops a linear quadratic regulator (LQR) based state-feedback control signal for the battery currents of those EVs to jointly minimize the risk of grid instability. A subsequent algorithm is developed to determine how much customers may be willing to sacrifice their intended charging rate demands in return for financial incentives. Results are validated using numerical simulations of three EV charging stations in the IEEE 33-bus power distribution model.
