Stress has a severe impact on individuals irrespective of age, sex, work, or background. The reliable development of stress detection techniques enhances the social, educational, physical, economic, and professional quality of life, preventing chronic stress and proposing alleviation strategies. Research studies examine psychological, cognitive, behavioral, and physiological reactions to identify stress adequately. Deep Learning (DL) has received significant attention in recent years as it deals with high-dimensional, heterogeneous data and automatically learns representative features. This paper presents a survey on stress detection with recent DL approaches, leveraging data from all possible sources (physiological, speech, facial expressions, gestures, and social media content). The methodological outlines, the best results, and the main contributions of each study are discussed. We also describe publicly available datasets used by several of the presented works. Finally, we emphasize various open issues within the field of research and highlight key directions for future work © 2024 IEEE.

Digital Twin (DT) is a virtual replica of a physical system that is constantly receiving information from different data sources, enhancing its operations and processes through data analytics, predictions and simulations. The development of DTs relies on advancements in cutting-edge technologies namely IoT, Big data, Cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence;and although it was initially conceived in manufacturing, it is currently contributing to the digital transformation of several fields including aeronautics, healthcare, urban planning and agriculture. The existing body of research suggests that it will be expanded in the next few years with the implementation of sophisticated applications, therefore different proposals to achieve collective work between DTs have been investigated. Nevertheless, much research is needed to develop and validate appropriate mechanisms to ensure its successful deployment in complex real-world cases that require collaboration among individual systems. A Federated Digital Twin (FDT) has been identified as a promising solution for this approach, since it allows the interconnection among autonomous DTs in the virtual space, leveraging their advantages and enabling interaction, collaboration and shared learning. Additionally, since a FDT is envisaged as a network of cooperative DTs, cognitive principles can be applied to assist the overall operations through knowledge acquisition and reasoning, leading to an informed and intelligent decision making. This study aims to expand the FDT concept, develop mechanisms for coordination and synchronization based on well-defined FDT goals and connectionism theory. Furthermore, four architectural styles are provided to enable the integration of collaborative DTs within a federated environment, aiming to improve the operations in complex real-world systems. © 2023 IEEE.

The growth of e-commerce has altered how consumers shop, providing a digital space where convenience, vast product offerings, and competitive pricing converge. In today's world, e-commerce websites are transitioning from traditional search-driven methods to customized and intuitive approaches via product suggestions. Product recommendation systems are vital in e-commerce, from bringing new business to retaining existing ones. Our three-part recommendation system is designed so that new users have a great and engaging experience as the Product Popularity -Based System shows them carefully chosen products that are in demand. Collaborative Filtering Recommendations are highly personalized recommendations given to people who have already made their first purchases based on their prior actions and preferences. The K-Means Clustering-Based Recommendation System uses textual clustering analysis to deliver contextually relevant recommendations. We use a variety of evaluation metrics, such as click-through rates, user engagement, and the Silhouette Score, to assess the effectiveness and accuracy of our recommendation systems. Our findings show significant increases in user engagement, conversion rates, and relevant recommendations. Our findings demonstrate the transformative power of well-designed recommendation systems, which improve user experiences and retention and provide invaluable solutions for businesses entering the e-commerce space. This paper provides an in-depth examination of the multifaceted landscape of e-commerce recommendations, shedding light on their far-reaching implications for customer acquisition and retention in this dynamic digital era. © 2024 IEEE.

The trilemma trade-off problem between decentralisation, scalability, and security states that in blockchain systems the above properties are negatively correlated. Infrastructure, node configuration, choice of Consensus Protocol, and complexity of the underlying application are cited among the factors that affect the balance of the trade-off. Given that Blockchains are complex, dynamic systems, a dynamic approach to their management and reconfiguration at runtime is deemed necessary to reflect the changes in the state of the infrastructure and application. This work proposes the use of Digital Twins as the means of optimising the trilemma trade-off of blockchain i.e., re-configuring system parameters such as to maximise scalability, decentralisation and security. Specifically, through a bi-directional feedback loop between the system and the digital twin, simulation, what-if analysis and machine learning techniques will be employed for the computation of an optimal configuration given the current system state. Furthermore, a dynamic update mechanism is proposed to allow for blockchain reconfiguration without violating the decentralisation of the system. © 2023 IEEE.

In the era of modern agriculture, real-time monitoring of soil conditions is crucial for increasing productivity and efficiency. This research proposes an agricultural soil monitoring system that utilizes the AWS Cloud platform to capture, analyze, and present real-time soil data. This system is designed to integrate various sensors that can measure humidity, pH, temperature and soil nutrients, all connected via the Internet of Things (IoT). The data collected by these sensors is sent to the AWS Cloud, where it is processed using cloud computing services such as AWS Lambda and Amazon EC2. The use of the AWS Cloud enables high scalability, reliability, and data security, and facilitates big data analysis using Amazon S3 and Amazon RDS. By using an intuitive dashboard, farmers can see soil analysis results in real-time and make informed decisions based on the data. Additionally, this system is equipped with machine learning algorithms that run on the AWS Cloud to predict soil needs and provide optimal fertilizer recommendations. This research shows how implementing AWS Cloud in agriculture can bring digital transformation to agriculture, enabling farmers to increase crop yields while reducing waste and operational costs. © 2024 IEEE.

Curriculum changes have a significant impact on the field of education in Indonesia, especially in universities. This is because the curriculum is used as a means to achieve the goals of educational success as well as guidelines in the implementation of teaching at every level of education. This study aims to determine public sentiment regarding the implementation curriculum of independent learning (MBKM) through Twitter based on Naïve Bayes with Laplace Estimator. Tweet search results use the keywords 'kurikulum mbkm' and 'mbkm'. The data used in this study amounted to 2500 tweet data which will be divided into 2000 data as training data with details of 1000 positive tweets and 1000 negative tweets and 500 data as testing data. The results showed the performance of Naïve Bayes using Laplace Estimator which resulted in an accuracy value of 80.20%, precision value of 82.00%, and recall value of 79.00%. Meanwhile, the performance of Naïve Bayes without Laplace Estimator resulted in an accuracy value of 77.00%, precision value of 80.00%, and recall value of 74.00%. Naive Bayes with Laplace Estimator reached the highest value in all metrics. © 2023 IEEE.

People frequently find it straightforward to identify insects that feed on cabbage plants based on the insects' characteristics. However, challenges arise when employing a computer for precise bug categorization and identification. The implementation of Deep Learning (DL) utilizes the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) technique, renowned for its effectiveness in categorizing and recognizing objects in digital photo data. The CNN algorithm delivers notable results in photo identification, simulating the human visual brain's image recognition through artificial neural networks in the Python programming language. To enrich the user experience, frameworks like Keras and TensorFlow are employed in neural network development. Our research will use the CNN algorithm to determine insect species in cabbage images. Achieving high accuracy involves coupling the CNN algorithm with the VGGNet architectural model. Notably, utilizing an epoch value of 150 resulted in a 97.75% accuracy rate during the training model technique;however, the validation accuracy was slightly lower at 94.25%. The corresponding loss and validation rates were 0.0613% and 0.2945%, respectively. Moreover, based on the model (150 epochs), the testing outcomes in the study, involving 48 images beyond the dataset and incorporating additional information, resulted in an accuracy rate of 91.66%. © 2024 IEEE.

In this work, we present PhysioFuseNet, a novel framework designed to enhance driver stress state classification. PhysioFuseNet integrates a CNN-based encoder-decoder model with multimodal biosignal fusion. Using a driving simulator, different multimodal signals were acquired, namely electrocardiography, electrodermal activity, photoplethysmography, and respiration rate from (N = 25) healthy subjects. The experiment is of 35 minutes duration and contains different stress states (baseline (5 minutes), while normal, cognitive, and emotional sessions for 10 minutes). Multimodal features are extracted and employed in an encoder-decoder network. Extracted encoder features are combined through intermediate fusion and fed to support vector machine (SVM) and random forest (RF) classifiers. Experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of our approach, outperforming previous methods by achieving accuracies of 0.95 and 0.94 for SVM and RF, respectively. Notably, the framework excels in classifying emotional and cognitive stress states. In summary, the proposed framework could be useful in stress assessment in real-time and clinical conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

Quantum computing is progressing at a fast rate and there is a real threat that classical cryptographic methods can be compromised and therefore impact the security of blockchain networks. All of the ways used to secure blockchain like Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA), Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit (SHA256) are the characteristic of the traditional cryptographic techniques vulnerable to attack by quantum algorithms: Shor’s and Grover’s algorithms: can efficiently break asymmetric encryption and speed up brute force attacks. Because of this vulnerability, there exists a need to develop an advance quantum resilient blockchain framework to protect the decentralized ledgers from the future threats of the quantum. This research proposes Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) as a formidable architectural integration, to fortify security of blockchain. Classical encryption is replaced with PQC, QKD with secure key exchange by detecting eavesdropping, and QRNG with improving cryptographic randomness to remove the predictable key vulnerability. Only with a small loss of transaction efficiency, we increase transaction encryption accuracy, key exchange security, and resistance to quantum attacks. In this quantum enhanced blockchain design, the idea is to preserve the decentralization, transparency and security and at the same time overcome the future quantum threat. By going through rigorous analysis and comparative evaluation, we demonstrate that the approach saves blockchain networks from the emerging quantum risks to make sure that the decentralized finance, smart contracts and cross chain transactions. © (2025), (Science and Information Organization).
