Due to the dramatic increase of fraud which results in loss of billions of dollars worldwide each year, several modern techniques in detecting fraud are continually evolved and applied to many business fields. Fraud detection involves monitoring the behavior of populations of users in order to estimate, detect, or avoid undesirable behavior. Undesirable behavior is a broad term including delinquency, fraud, intrusion, and account defaulting. This paper presents a survey of current techniques used in credit card fraud detection, telecommunication fraud detection, and computer intrusion detection. This paper describes the PCB power/ground plane edge radiation excited by high-frequency clock, when it passes through power/ground plane pair by through-hole signal via. For the analysis, the clock excitation mechanism was invested by TDR-TDT measurement and simulation with balanced TLM and Via coupling model. Also, the power/ground plane edge radiations excited by sweeping from 100MHz clock to 2900MHz clock were measured. The power/ground plane edge radiation comes from voltage noise in power/ground plane. From TDR-TDT investigations, we knew that a transition part in time domain makes the voltage noise, which has a strong relation with power/ground plane impedance depending on plane resonances and return current discontinuity of through-hole signal via. Therefore, the consecutive transitions of the clock make larger noise voltage and edge radiation. The PCB power/ground plane edge radiations of a clock depend on the power/ground plane impedance where the clock spectrum is. The higher power/ground plane impedance makes the larger power/ground plane edge radiation, when the clock frequency is fixed. In other words, the clock frequency and its harmonics go into the higher power/ground plane impedance range, the power/ground plane edge radiations are increased by maximum 35 dBm in near field, measurement.

In our previous work, we have studied three data distribution schemes, Send Followed Compress (SFC), Compress Followed Send (CFS), and Encoding- Decoding (ED), for sparse arrays based on the traditional matrix representation (TMR) scheme. Since multi-dimensional arrays can also be represented by the extended Karnaugh map representation (EKMR) scheme, in this paper, we first apply the SFC/CFS/ED schemes based on the EKMR scheme. Then, we compare the performance of these three schemes with those based on the TMR scheme. Both theoretical analysis and experimental test were conducted. In theoretical analysis, we analyze the SFC/CFS/ED schemes based on the TMR/EKMR schemes in terms of the data distribution time and the data compression time. In experimental test, we implement these three schemes on an IBM SP2 parallel machine. The theoretical analysis and experimental results first show that the ED scheme is superior to the CFS scheme that is superior to the SFC scheme. Second, these three schemes based on the EKMR scheme outperform those based on the TMR scheme.

The authors consider the switch-block design problem for three-dimensional FPGAs. A three-dimensional switch block M with W terminals on each face is said to be universal if every set of nets satisfying the dimension constraint (i.e. the number of nets on each face of M is at most W) is simultaneously routable through M. A class of universal switch blocks for three-dimensional FPGAs is presented. Each of the switch blocks has 15W switches and switch-block flexibility 5 (i.e. FS=5). It is proved that no switch block with less than 15W switches can be universal. The proposed switch blocks are compared with others of the topology associated with those used in the Xilinx XC4000 FPGAs. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed universal switch blocks improve routabilty at the chip level. Further, the decomposition property of a universal switch block provides a key insight into its layout implementation with a smaller silicon area.

An innovative technique, utilizing solely a GPS pseudorange receiver and an off-the-shelf CCD camera, is presented to simultaneously identify the aircraft attitude and the location of a ground target within the field of view of the camera. The integration of unscented Kalman filter(UKF) equation and the orientation representation using quaternion in the formulation of system dynamics and measurement process makes UKF outperform the conventional extended Kalman filter(EKF) processing in the following aspects: fast convergence, averaging operation inst.ad of linearization, and plausibility in various industrial/military applications. Due to the inclusions of aforementioned two kinds of sensors, the cost of the entire system is dramatically reduced. No singular position is encountered owning to the introduction of quaternion algebra in rotation formulation. Simulations are conducted;both attitude estimation and ground target positioning errors are computed via UKF;and the beauty of fast convergence rate of UKF is witnessed.

This paper proposes a distributed architecture of web filtering system focused on its operation and implementation for IPv6 home networks. The realized system, called WKeeper, employs the feature of IPv6 anycast to achieve distributed load balance. WKeeper has been proven to be functioning well in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks even with mobility support. In a home network environment, WKeeper efficiently and precisely maintains the URL-block-list database with enormous amount of entries, as well as its operation is robust and with low cost. Besides, experimental result shows that the delay of query response is bounded significantly even if heavy load.
