作者: Noel Mayo Lorraine Justice Meshella Eddye Woods Kwame Nyanning Charles Harrison Industrial designer Noel Mayo is the owner and president of Noel Mayo Associates Inc. the first African‐American industrial design firm in the United States with clients including NASA IBM the Department of Commerce and Agriculture Black and Decker the Museum of American Jewish History and the Philadelphia International Airport. Lorraine Justice PhD is currently a professor and the former dean of the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). The college houses six schools: Design American School for Crafts Art Film and Animation Photography and Print Media. Prior to joining RIT Justice was the dean of the School of Design at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). During her tenure PolyU came to be regarded as one of the top 30 design schools in the world and one of the top 10 in Asia. Justice is the author of China's Design Revolution (MIT Press 2012). She consults for some of the top firms in the world is a TED presenter a board member for several international design journals and a Fellow of the Industrial Design Society of America. Meshella Eddye Woods holds a BA in human environment and design and has 39 years of interior architectural design and facility management experience. Her career has included performance and supervision as well as training evaluation and management of work involved in the planning design and construction of interior environments in private industry and the federal government. She offers additional expertise in computer technology as it relates to project planning and documentation program management and administration video and digital media and website design. Kwame Nyanning is vice president of experience design at McKinsey & Co. with more than 15 years' experience in product service and customer experience design in such organizations as Studio Archetype Sapient frog design Adaptive Path Infosys Technology and Native Design.
