Exploring static rebalancing strategies for dockless bicycle sharing systems based on multi-granularity behavioral decision-making

In the continuously evolving context of urbanization, more people flock to cities for job opportunities and an improved quality of life, resulting in undeniable pressure on transportation networks. This leads to severe daily commuting challenges for residents. To mitigate this urban traffic pressure, most cities have adopted urban dockless bicycle sharing systems (UDBSS) as an effective measure. However, making accurate decisions regarding UDBSS demand in different city locations is crucial, as incorrect choices can worsen transportation problems, causing difficulties in finding bicycles or excessive deployments leading to disorderly accumulation. To address this decision-making challenge, it is essential to consider uncertain factors like daily weather, temperature, and workdays. To tackle this effectively, we construct an adjustable multi-granularity (MG) complex intuitionistic fuzzy (CIF) information system using complex intuitionistic fuzzy sets (CIFSs). This system objectively determines classification thresholds using an evaluation-based three-way decision (TWD) method, creating adjustable MG CIF probabilistic rough sets (PRSs). Additionally, to recognize the irrationality of decision-makers (DMs), we propose a method that combines prospect theory (PT) with regret theory (RT), providing a more comprehensive understanding of the influence of DMs' psychological factors on decision outcomes. Building upon these foundations, we present static rebalancing strategies for UDBSS based on MG PRSs and prospect-regret theory (P-RT) within the CIF information system. Finally, using UDBSS data collected from various sensors, we conduct experimental analysis to verify its feasibility and stability. In summary, this approach considers residents’ daily usage preferences, including bicycles utilization and return, with the aim of minimizing unmet resident demands and predicting usage patterns for the next day. Attention mechanism has been a successful method for multimodal affective analysis in recent years. Despite the advances, several significant challenges remain in fusing language and its nonverbal context information. One is to generate sparse attention coefficients associated with acoustic and visual modalities, which helps locate critical emotional se-mantics. The other is fusing complementary cross‐modal representation to construct optimal salient feature combinations of multiple modalities. A Conditional Transformer Fusion Network is proposed to handle these problems. Firstly, the authors equip the transformer module with CNN layers to enhance the detection of subtle signal patterns in nonverbal sequences. Secondly, sentiment words are utilised as context conditions to guide the computation of cross‐modal attention. As a result, the located nonverbal fea-tures are not only salient but also complementary to sentiment words directly. Experi-mental results show that the authors’ method achieves state‐of‐the‐art performance on several multimodal affective analysis datasets.

Dual-Path Spectrogram Refinement Network for Robust Speaker Verification

The accuracy and reliability of automatic speaker verification (ASV) face significant challenges in noisy environments. In recent years, joint training of speech enhancement front-end and ASV back-end has been widely applied to improve the robustness of ASV systems. Traditional joint training directly uses the enhanced speech features as the input of the back-end. However, the diversity of noise types and noise intensities will excessively suppress the enhanced features, resulting in speech distortion or residual noise. To alleviate this problem, we propose a dual-path spectrogram refinement network that enables the enhanced features to learn supplementary information from the separated noise features. In addition, we incorporate coordinate attention into the overall joint architecture to capture more comprehensive frequency and temporal information of the speaker from different spatial positions. We conduct extensive experiments on the VoxCeleb1 test set, the out-of-domain noise test set, and the VOiCES corpus. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method significantly improves the accuracy and robustness of speaker verification systems in both clean and noisy environments. In the field of autonomous driving, 3D target detection is an important technology. In view of the shortcomings of existing monocular 3D detection algorithms in terms of accuracy and real-time performance, we propose a lightweight 3D target detection algorithm based on the attention mechanism. In order to ensure the real-time performance of the model, we use depthwise separable convolutions in the backbone network. The feature maps of each scale are then connected to an EMA module, which can fuse spatial attention and cross-dimensional Coordinate attention is used to enhance the feature extraction capability of the network, and BiFPN is subsequently used for multi-scale feature fusion. Finally, experiments were conducted on the KITTI dataset, and the results showed that our algorithm was superior to other methods in both accuracy and speed. © 2024 IEEE.

Most current representations of protein pockets are the atom-pair graph, which ignore the global structural information of amino acids. Therefore, we propose a new molecular generation model, which uses the hypergraph to represent protein pocket structure, and combines the structural features obtained by atom-pair graph representation. These two levels of graphs are more capable of representing the complex structural information of protein pockets. Then, the graphs of the two levels of the protein pockets are input into the improved network model, which is named Hypergraph Graph Attention Fusion (HGAF), to obtain the embedding representation of the protein pockets, which is used as a condition to constrain the molecule generation. The molecules sampled by HGAF are subjected to quality assessment and docking targeting validation. Experimental results show that the molecules generated by proposed method can achieve better results in both of these assessment approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

The problem of imbalanced distribution in multi-center medical data leads to suboptimal model performance. Therefore, to address the heterogeneity issue in multi-center data, a low heterogeneity feature transfer-based federated learning algorithm is proposed. In this algorithm, considering the influence of heterogeneous feature information in the global model, a low heterogeneity feature selection network (LHFS-Net) is introduced to construct local models and reduce the impact of heterogeneity features on local model performance. Additionally, an dynamic aggregation network (DA-Net) is proposed to filter heterogeneous feature information from each local model and aggregate the global model, thereby improving its performance. Moreover, to validate the performance of the proposed algorithm, the study collected early-stage lung cancer data from four medical institutions for the classification of early stage lung cancer medical images. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms three existing methods across the four early stage lung cancer data centers, with AUC values of 0.8108, 0.7894, 0.7467, and 0.7527 for each respective test set. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

computer-aided drug design and artificial intelligence-driven drug design have accelerated drug discovery. However, how to design effective drugs that have strong interaction ability with target proteins to further improve the efficacy of drugs in treating diseases remains a key issue. This paper proposes a new target-specific drug generative model 3CLpro2mol to generate new drug molecules, which uses features of drug-target interactions (DTIs) to constrain the correlation between the drug and the target protein. To obtain as many drug-target interaction features as possible from a small amount of data, a small molecule extraction strategy is proposed to ensure the diversity of small molecules in the training samples. To improve the efficiency and accuracy of the generative model, a TOP K sampling strategy is used to generate tokens, which can improve the rationality and diversity of the generated molecules. The experimental results show that the proposed model has the potential to generate small molecules that interact better with the target protein. © 2023 IEEE.

Semi-supervised learning has garnered significant attention, particularly in medical image segmentation, owing to its capacity to leverage a large number of unlabeled data and a limited amount of labeled data to improve performance. However, most existing semi-supervised segmentation methods exhibit shortcomings in supervising unlabeled data, both in the label space due to potential noise in pseudo-labels, and the feature space due to indistinct class boundaries. To address the issues above, we propose Dual-view Label and Feature Supervision Network, termed DLFS-Net, to enhance label and feature supervision for unlabeled data. Our approach is based on a dual-view learning strategy that incorporates two modules: the Confidence Fusion Supervision Module (CFS) and the Dual-view Prototype Learning Module (DPL). Specifically, the CFS module generates weight matrices to integrate complementary information from two model outputs, producing more accurate pseudo-labels in the label space. The DPL module reduces intra-class variations in the feature space from two different views through prototype learning to generate clear class boundaries. Experiments on the LA and Pancreas-CT datasets demonstrate that our framework show solid gains (e.g.,1.76% Dice and 2.37% Jaccard improvement on Pancreas-CT dataset with 20% labeled data) compared with the state-of-the-art methods. © 2024 ACM.

To solve the problem that the current skin lesion segmentation networks have a poor segmentation accuracy when lesion areas are of different shapes and sizes and low contrast at the edge areas, based on U-Net, we present a skin lesion segmentation network based on multi-scale and improved skip connections. Firstly, a multi-scale feature enhancement module is designed to replace the U-Net's 3× 3 convolution blocks, which can improve the feature extraction ability of the network about lesion areas of different shapes and sizes. Secondly, a lesion attention module is introduced into the skip connection to improve the semantic expression of low-level features and the location attention of high-level features, which can improve the fine-grained information transmission efficiency at the skip connection. Finally, a new hybrid loss function is designed to calculate the label and the edge loss of lesion areas, which improves the ability of the network to segment lesion areas and edges. Experiments are conducted on the ISIC2017 and ISIC2018 datasets, and the results prove that our method have a higher segmentation accuracy in skin lesion segmentation. © 2024 IEEE.

Image restoration is a classic foundational visual task, aimed at recovering damaged images, such as those affected by compression, blurring, or noise, to high-definition clarity. Although current image enhancement techniques largely rely on convolutional neural networks, the efficient capabilities of Transformers demonstrated in complex visual tasks have not yet been extensively applied in the field of image restoration. This paper presents an optimized image restoration strategy based on the SwinIR model, which is applied to the task of underwater image restoration. In the shallow feature extraction phase, deep separable convolution technology is employed;while in the deep feature extraction phase, a Spatial Gated Feedforward Network (SGFN) is utilized. The experimental data suggests that the novel approach surpasses conventional techniques in effectiveness and has effectively minimized both the model's parameter quantity and computational demands. © 2025 IEEE.
