Research in Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots navigation has demonstrated some success in navigating flat indoor environments while avoiding obstacles. But in common resilience to unsafe conditions, unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) and autonomous mobile robots have wide applications in security reconnaissance, investigation of an obscure domain, and crisis reaction. Various examinations have been directed on the driving mechanism, motion planning, and trajectory tracking strategies for robots, yet restricted investigations have been led with respect to the obstacle detection and avoiding ability of robots. However, for little scale robots that contain sensitive surveillance sensors and can't afford to utilize heavy defensive shells, the nonappearance of obstacle avoidance solutions arrangements would leave the robot helpless before possibly risky hindrances. In this paper, we present an algorithm for obstacle detection and avoidance system has been developed for miniature Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) and autonomous mobile robots. We show an investigation differentiating heading build rules and relative course directions dodging distinctive operators in multi-specialist conditions, estimating separation between the two robots. The integration of distance measurement and avoiding other robots or obstacles is our observation in a multi-robot environment, where obstacles are also available. In this paper, we have discussed two algorithms, one will try to avoid other robot or obstacles and another will try to measure the distance between main agents to another agent. It utilizes an algorithm so that the system is both compact and power efficient. The proposed system can detect not only the presence, but also the approaching direction of a ferromagnetic obstacle. Android applications are getting bigger with an increasing number of features. However, not all the features are needed by a specific user. The unnecessary features can increase the attack surface and cost additional resources (e.g., storage and memory). Therefore, it is important to remove unnecessary features from Android applications. However, it is difficult for the end users to fully explore the apps to identify the unnecessary features, and there is no off-the-shelf tool available to assist users to debloat the apps by themselves. In this work, we propose AutoDebloater to debloat Android applications automatically for end users. AutoDebloater is a web application that can be accessed by end-users through a web browser. In particular, AutoDebloater can automatically explore an app and identify the transitions between activities. Then, AutoDebloater will present the Activity Transition Graph to users and ask them to select the activities they do not want to keep. Finally, AutoDebloater will remove the activities that are selected by users from the app. We conducted a user study on five Android apps downloaded from three categories (i.e., Finance, Tools, and Navigation) in Google Play and F-Droid. The results show that users are satisfied with AutoDebloater in terms of the stability of the debloated apps and the ability of AutoDebloater to identify features that are never noticed before. AI's revolutionary potential in higher education is examined in this proposal, including how it could revolutionize teaching, learning, administration, and research. Adaptive learning platforms, intelligent tutoring systems, and virtual learning assistants may change how students learn by improving engagement, providing quick feedback, and enabling tailored learning. The suggested process includes preprocessing, feature extraction, and model training. Preprocessing involves de-anonymizing, tokenizing, and removing punctuation, spaces, and numbers before analysis. The linear transformation method PCA extracts features. Training the systems uses the RF -SVM approach, which combines the advantages of RF and SVM. The suggested RF -SVM model beats two RF and SVM models with an average accuracy of 90.39 *** improves resource use, strategic decision-making, and research capacity in university management. The RF-SVM model's success in academia highlights the practicality of AI-driven solutions.

Today, with the digital world in its full swing, strong password management is key to protecting sensitive information from both internal and external threats. The current research explores the passwords managing behavior of the IT students at the University of Dunaujvaros. A survey made in May 2024 questioned 68 students, 59 males and 9 females, about behaviors such as using passwords with complexity, not repeating them for multiple accounts or machines, changing them regularly, and which applications they use for password management. The findings have depicted that, as a whole, students appear to be moderately sensitive about the password security instructions. Nonetheless, most continue to indulge in unsafe practices, including easily remembered or weak passwords and infrequent password changes. Furthermore, approximately half of the responders use password management applications, indicating room for significant improvement in the future. The results suggest that intervention and special education measures should be taken to enhance the practice of password security among future IT experts. This research has good potential to contribute toward strategies designed for people behaving safely in password management, and hence promote a secure digital environment.

The following article looked into legged wheels with spring suspension. The idea behind the work was to see how adding springs in various places and their stiffness would impact the robot's ability to navigate through stairs. Due to the unconventional appearance of legged wheels, they are not suitable for even terrain passage. Hence, the idea was to add springs to minimize shock occurrence each time a leg touches the even environment. It was also important to equip springs throughout the whole path. As the robot progresses through steps, a greater disturbance of the structure occurs. Two different ideas were tested. In the first scenario, springs were attached between the holder of the wheels and the main body. In the second scenario, springs were directly added to the legs. The extruded part of the leg was divided into two, and a spring was embedded between these two parts. Different values of spring stiffness were also examined. The results illustrated that the structure would go further by implementing springs in all four wheels or in the rear. However, the structure was tested only on an upward incline. With other setups, it might be different with the rearrangement of the springs. It was also noted that with higher stiffness of the springs, the structure became unstable. In the second scenario, results illustrated the slightest progress. For instance, when the front wheels' legs were modified, they showed better results. To understand the influence in more depth, further investigation of the problem must be conducted.

In machine learning, handwritten digit recognition is usually seen as a multi-class classification problems In this approach, the ten possible digits (0-9) are treated as individual classes, and the goal is to train a classifier that can accurately identify them. However, it’s not unusual for a single classifier to have varying levels of success when applied to different datasets, even after being trained using a standard learning algorithm. This indicates that while a given learning algorithm may be effective at training strong classifiers on certain datasets, it may result in weaker classifiers for others. Furthermore, it’s possible for a classifier to exhibit varying levels of performance on multiple test datasets, especially considering that different writers may produce highly diverse image samples of the same numbers. To address this issue, the advancement of ensemble learning methodologies will be critical, as they have the potential to improve overall prediction accuracy and offer more consistent performance across different datasets.

Agriculture is the backbone of India’s economy, supporting a large portion of the population and establishing the country as a key global player in food production. India ranks as the second-largest producer of both paddy and wheat. However, agricultural productivity is highly susceptible to various plant diseases, which can significantly reduce crop yields and quality. Paddy, one of the most important staple crops, is particularly vulnerable to diseases caused mainly by viral and bacterial related diseases. The climate conditions are also play a vital role in paddy plant diseases. This research work proposes a deep learning-based approach for early detection and classification of paddy diseases. The proposed research devises a hybrid model that combines the VGG19 and ResNet50 algorithms, the system analyses images of both healthy and disease-affected paddy leaves, sourced from the Kaggle repository. This research focuses on predicting four major paddy diseases that can cause yield losses of up to 80%, and in severe cases, can destroy an entire crop: (i) Paddy Blast, (ii) Bacterial Leaf Blight, (iii) Sheath Blight, and (iv) Ufra Disease. The proposed model achieves a high accuracy rate of 98% in predicting paddy diseases and offers a rapid classification process, showcasing the potential of advanced image processing and deep learning techniques to mitigate the impact of paddy plant diseases on agricultural productivity.

Analyzing multi-modal medical data in the setting of uncertain healthcare situations continues to be a major topic in medical image analysis and healthcare big data. Traditional machine learning algorithms are severely hampered by inaccurate data fusion, a lack of adaptability to changing patient data, and challenges managing uncertainty. These difficulties are made worse by complicated medical images and diverse data sources, which results in less accurate diagnosis and worse-than-ideal healthcare choices. To tackle these urgent problems, this paper suggests two new approaches: Continual Learning using Progressive Neural Networks (PNNs) and Tensorized Attention Mechanism for Data Fusion. The Tensorized Attention Mechanism improves multi-modal data fusion by using dynamic, task-specific attention to improve feature alignment across modalities, and the PNNs framework uses continual learning, memory augmentation, and domain adaptation to ensure robust learning under data uncertainty. We test these methods on a variety of multi-modal datasets, such as MIMIC-IV, CheXpert, MOST, OAI, and Heart Murmur, which offer a comprehensive representation of medical data from clinical reports, chest X-rays, heart murmurs, and other heterogeneous data sources. Our experimental results show notable improvements in diagnostic performance, with notable results like a CFI of 0.10, a KR score of 90.4%, and an MMC score of 0.097, indicating superior generalization and robustness across domains. Healthcare AI applications could be revolutionized by the use of specialized losses, such as Conditional Variational Autoencoder (CVAE), Adversarial Contrastive Learning (ACL), Reciprocal Regularization, and domain adaptation losses, which are essential for preventing forgetting and guaranteeing learning stability across shifting data streams. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

This paper proposes a framework integrating Rate Splitting Multiple Access (RSMA), semantic communications, and generative AI for optimizing next-generation wireless networks. We present a unified model that combines RSMA with semantic communications to enhance both spectral efficiency and semantic fidelity. Our system model focuses on a downlink semantic communication system with a multi-antenna base station serving multiple single-antenna users. A dynamic contract-based incentive mechanism is developed to address user heterogeneity and information asymmetry in semantic RSMA scenarios. We introduce a diffusion model-based approach for joint optimization of resource allocation and contract design in RSMA systems. The semantic encoding process extracts key information, i.e., free-space detection, interest points, object attributes, and spatial relationships, from image data. A loss function is designed to train the semantic encoder and RSMA scheme, incorporating semantic extraction, partitioning, reconstruction, and task specific components. Our framework includes a multi-objective performance evaluation that considers both conventional metrics and semantic accuracy in a multi-user RSMA environment. We also define a multi-component semantic accuracy metric to assess the quality and utility of the extracted semantic information. Extensive simulation results demonstrate the superiority of our proposed framework over existing approaches in terms of system throughput, energy efficiency, and semantic fidelity across various network scenarios and user distributions. © 2015 IEEE.

Educational operating systems are crucial for facilitating learning in the digital age, as they exist at the intersection of technology and education. This paper explores ways to enrich educational operating systems not just through technological advancement, but also by integrating pedagogical principles. In an ever-changing world, the need for an adaptive and responsive educational operating system to meet diverse student needs is crucial. Through case studies, we analyze how design, interactivity, and accessibility can transform these systems into effective and appealing learning environments. We propose a series of recommendations for the future development of educational operating systems, focusing on enhancing the learning experience and promoting student autonomy, thereby offering a fresh perspective on how technology and education can blend harmoniously and efficiently.
