The data in the blockchain cannot be tampered with and the users are anonymous,which enables the blockchain to be a natural carrier for covert ***,the existing methods of covert communication in blockchain suffer from the predefined channel structure,the capacity of a single transaction is not high,and the fixed transaction behaviors will lower the concealment of the communication ***,this paper proposes a derivation matrix-based covert communication method in *** uses dual-key to derive two types of blockchain addresses and then constructs an address matrix by dividing addresses into multiple layers to make full use of the redundancy of ***,to solve the problem of the lack of concealment caused by the fixed transaction behaviors,divide the rectangular matrix into square blocks with overlapping regions and then encrypt different blocks sequentially to make the transaction behaviors of the channel addresses match better with those of the real ***,the linear congruence algorithm is used to generate random sequence,which provides a random order for blocks encryption,and thus enhances the security of the encryption *** results show that this method can effectively reduce the abnormal transaction behaviors of addresses while ensuring the channel transmission efficiency.

Differential signals are key in control engineering as they anticipate future behavior of process variables and therefore are critical in formulating control laws such as proportional-integral-derivative(PID).The practical challenge,however,is to extract such signals from noisy measurements and this difficulty is addressed first by *** in the form of linear and nonlinear tracking differentiator(TD).While improvements were made,TD did not completely resolve the conflict between the noise sensitivity and the accuracy and timeliness of the *** two approaches proposed in this paper start with the basic linear TD,but apply iterative learning mechanism to the historical data in a moving window(MW),to form two new iterative learning tracking differentiators(IL-TD):one is a parallel IL-TD using an iterative ladder network structure which is implementable in analog circuits;the other a serial IL-TD which is implementable digitally on any computer *** algorithms are validated in simulations which show that the proposed two IL-TDs have better tracking differentiation and de-noise performance compared to the existing linear TD.

As an innovative technology for enhancing authenticity, security, and risk management, blockchain is being widely adopted in trade and finance systems. The unique capabilities of blockchain, such as immutability and transparency, enable new business models of distributed data storage, point-to-point transactions, and decentralized autonomous organizations. Here, the authors focus on blockchain-based securities trading, in which blockchain technology plays a vital role in financial services as it ultimately lifts trust and frees the need for third-party verification by using consensus-based verification. The 12 most popular blockchain platforms are investigated and 6 platforms that are related to finance are elaborated on, seeking to provide a panorama of securities trading practices. Meanwhile, this survey provides a comprehensive summary of blockchain-based securities trading applications. Numerous practical applications of blockchain-based securities trading are gathered and they are categorized into four distinct categories. For each category, a typical example is introduced and how blockchain contributes to solving the key problems faced by FinTech companies and researchers explained. Finally, interesting observations are provided ranging from mainstream blockchain-based financial institutions to security issues of decentralized finance applications, aiming to picture the current blockchain ecosystem in finance. © 2024 The Authors. In electric power transmission and distribution systems, the use of overhead lines instead of underground cables is preferred by power utilities mainly due to the lower construction cost and the easier maintenance access. On the other hand the equipment used in overhead lines is stressed by several factors, such as weather conditions, lightning, vegetation fires, etc. In particular, vegetation fires under the overhead transmission lines could have catastrophic results for the installed equipment and can cause long-lasting electricity interruptions. In this study, condition assessment results are presented for eighteen 150 kV composite insulators exposed to a forest fire event, occurred in the August 2021, in the island of Rhodes, Greece. The evaluation of the fire effects on composite insulators was performed by employing several macroscopic and microscopic diagnostic techniques including visual inspection, hydrophobicity classification, Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and optical microscopy analysis. © The Institution of engineering & technology 2023.

Maximizing Harvested Energy in Natural Energy Powered RF WPT with Nonlinear EH Model

In the typical radio frequency (RF)-based wireless power transfer (WPT) system, the wireless power station (WPS) connected to the grid transmits energy to charge low-power sensors via radio signals. Such a system may not be green and also difficult to deploy in some special areas including deserts and mountainous areas, because it depends on the grid. To achieve a green RF WPT system design, this paper considers that the WPS is powered by natural energy sources rather than the grid. To explore the maximal total amount of the energy that can be harvested by the sensors, we focus on the offline setting, so similar to many existing works on offline optimization, we assume that the WPS knows prior knowledge about energy arrivals and channel changes, and then formulate an optimization problem to maximize the total harvested energy via optimizing the WPS's time-domain transmit power subject to multiple constraints, including the finite battery capacity at the WPS, the causal relationship between the natural energy harvesting and the WPT, and the transmit power budget of the WPS, where for practicality, the nonlinear energy harvesting (EH) model is also taken into account. To solve this non-convex problem, we first equivalently transform it by using the epigraph reformulation and the variable substitution, and then use the first-order Taylor expansion to get an approximate convex version. Then, we present a successive convex approximation (SCA)-based algorithm to improve the accuracy of the obtained solution for approaching the optimal one. For the special case with a single sensor, we further propose a branch and bound (BB)-based algorithm that is able to get a more accurate solution with lower complexity than the SCA-based one. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed algorithms are able to achieve the near-global optimal solution. Gesture recognition technology enables machines to read human gestures and has significant application prospects in the fields of human-computer interaction and sign language *** researches usually use convolutional neural networks to extract features directly from raw gesture data for gesture recognition,but the networks are affected by much interference information in the input data and thus fit to some unimportant *** this paper,we proposed a novel method for encoding spatio-temporal information,which can enhance the key features required for gesture recognition,such as shape,structure,contour,position and hand motion of gestures,thereby improving the accuracy of gesture *** encoding method can encode arbitrarily multiple frames of gesture data into a single frame of the spatio-temporal feature map and use the spatio-temporal feature map as the input to the neural *** can guide the model to fit important features while avoiding the use of complex recurrent network structures to extract temporal *** addition,we designed two sub-networks and trained the model using a sub-network pre-training strategy that trains the sub-networks first and then the entire network,so as to avoid the subnetworks focusing too much on the information of a single category feature and being overly influenced by each other’s *** results on two public gesture datasets show that the proposed spatio-temporal information encoding method achieves advanced accuracy.

In contemporary auditing practices, the ability to effectively identify and assess potential fraudulent companies is crucial for maintaining market fairness and transparency. Previous research has leveraged various machine learning techniques to detect fraudulent activities in financial data. However, these models often lack robustness and fail to protect the privacy of the financial information used for training. Here we introduces a novel approach by incorporating differential privacy into the training process, ensuring data protection without compromising model performance. To enhance model performance, we employed interquartile range filtering for outlier removal and optimized feature selection using Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). For model training, we employed Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and Decision Trees, with hyperparameters meticulously fine-tuned through grid search and Bayesian optimization techniques to achieve optimal performance. To address privacy concerns, we implemented differential privacy using the Laplace mechanism, effectively safeguarding sensitive financial data. Our empirical results demonstrate that the enhanced models maintain high accuracy and robustness, providing a reliable tool for fraud detection while ensuring financial data privacy. © 2024 IEEE.

The design of a 180° output phase difference Wilkinson power divider for L-band applications is detailed in this article. The Wilkinson power is generated through the utilization of the parallel coupler's phase shifter. To showcase the potential of the suggested power divider, an FR4 microwave substrate is fabricated with a narrow band of 1.6 GHz to accommodate radio astronomy systems. The insertion loss, return loss, and isolation loss for the power divider's difference phase are accurately simulated at the operational frequency. © 2024 IEEE.

Active power dispatch of wind farms plays an important role in power grid scheduling. In this paper, a data-driven active power dispatch strategy for wind farms is proposed, which uses the key point of minimizing the standard deviation of wind turbines' output power series to reduce their fluctuations. First, to build the optimization problem, the historical active power output data of each wind turbine is collected from the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. Then, the objective function is developed based on the idea of minimizing the standard deviation of the output power time series. Meanwhile, considering the constraints of wind turbines' output power and active power balance of the grid, the feasible domain of the cost function is constructed. Further, to solve the proposed nonlinear optimization problem with equality and inequality constraints, the trust region interior point method (TRIPM) is employed to explore optimal solution within the feasible domain. Finally, actual data collected from wind farms is used to test effectiveness of the designed approach and experimental results show that our method can achieve better output power smoothing performance than conventional Proportional Dispatch (PD) method. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to solve the quantitative problems of indicators such as the network public opinion heat, development trend and social strengthening effect of the self media platform network public opinion, which are concerned by the network public opinion supervision department. In this paper, based on the number of public opinion carriers, netizens' emotional tendency measurement, information content sensitivity measurement and other dynamic quantitative indicators, the index system of network public opinion inflection monitoring and early warning evaluation is established. Then, the entropy weight method and TOPSIS method are used to establish the network public opinion inflection quantitative model, and the calculation method of network public opinion monitoring inflection is given.
