One of the most important services provided by cloud service providers (CSPs), cloud storage is economically attractive and can provide on-demand data storage service to resource-constrained tenants in the manner of pay-per-use. Therefore, by embracing cloud storage service, tenants can store their large-scale data on the remote cloud host to tremendously reduce local storage burden and computational overhead. However, due to the separation of cloud data ownership and management, cloud storage inevitably suffers from a few new security challenges, such as fine-grained cloud data deletion. To achieve data deletion in cloud storage, we design a vector-commitment-based publicly verifiable data deletion scheme, which can achieve data integrity auditing and block-based fine-grained data deletion. Specifically, our proposed scheme disguises the data deletion operation as data update operation. Therefore, the tenants can achieve data deletion by updating the cloud data blocks with some unrelated data blocks. Meanwhile, the tenants can prevent cloud data from being polluted by periodically performing data integrity auditing operation, thus guaranteeing that the cloud host sincerely maintains the data. Moreover, we formally analyze the security, which shows that our proposed scheme can satisfy all of the anticipative security requirements without interaction with a centralized third party. Finally, we develop a prototype system and evaluate the performance of our proposed scheme, which can intuitively demonstrate the high-efficiency and practicality of our proposal. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

network monitoring systems struggle with the issue that the measurement data is incomplete, with only a subset of origin-destination (OD) pairs or time slots observed, due to the high deployment and measurement cost. Recent studies show that the missing data can be inferred from partial measurements using neural network models and tensor methods. However, these recovery approaches fail to achieve accuracy, adaptability and high speed, simultaneously. In this paper, we propose RecMon, a deep learning-based data recovery system that satisfies the above three criteria. A global spatio-temporal attention mechanism and a data augmentation algorithm are proposed to improve the recovery accuracy. A semi-supervised learning-based scheme is devised for fast and effective model updates. We conduct extensive experiments on three real-world datasets to compare RecMon with four state-of-the-art methods in terms of online recovery performance. The experimental results show that RecMon can adapt to the latest state of the network and accurately recover network measurement data in less than 100 milliseconds. When 90% of the data is missing, the recovery accuracy of RecMon improves over the strongest baseline method by 22.7%, 16.0%, and 8.2% in the three datasets, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

In a telemedicine diagnosis system,the emergence of 3D imaging enables doctors to make clearer judgments,and its accuracy also directly affects doctors’diagnosis of the *** order to ensure the safe transmission and storage of medical data,a 3D medical watermarking algorithm based on wavelet transform is proposed in this *** proposed algorithm employs the principal component analysis(PCA)transform to reduce the data dimension,which can minimize the error between the extracted components and the original data in the mean square ***,this algorithm helps to create a bacterial foraging model based on particle swarm optimization(BF-PSO),by which the optimal wavelet coefficient is found for embedding and is used as the absolute feature of watermark embedding,thereby achieving the optimal balance between embedding capacity and imperceptibility.A series of experimental results from MATLAB software based on the standard MRI brain volume dataset demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has strong robustness and make the 3D model have small deformation after embedding the watermark.

Federated learning (FL) is a popular distributed paradigm where enormous clients collaboratively train a machine learning (ML) model under the orchestration of a central server without knowing the clients' private raw data. The development of effective FL algorithms faces multiple practical challenges including data heterogeneity and clients' privacy protection. Despite that numerous attempts have been made to deal with data heterogeneity or rigorous privacy protection, none have effectively tackled both issues simultaneously. In this article, we propose a differentially private and heterogeneity-robust FL algorithm, named DP-FedCVR to mitigate the data heterogeneity by following the client-variance-reduction strategy. Besides, it adopts a sophisticated differential privacy (DP) mechanism where the privacy-amplified strategy is applied, to achieve a rigorous privacy protection guarantee. We show that the proposed DP-FedCVR algorithm maintains its heterogeneity-robustness though DP noises are incorporated, while achieving a sublinear convergence rate for a nonconvex FL problem. Numerical experiments based on image classification tasks are presented to demonstrate that DP-FedCVR provides superior performance over the benchmark algorithms in the presence of data heterogeneity and various DP privacy budgets. © 2020 IEEE.

Channel State Information (CSI) serves as a critical indicator of wireless signal conditions and is widely regarded by researchers for its sensitivity in detecting changes within the channel. However, traditional sensing technologies often require substantial data and intricate learning algorithms, highlighting an urgent need for advancements in lightweight sensing technologies. These technologies should leverage simpler terminal devices, reduced data volumes, and more straightforward classification algorithms to achieve sensing capability that are comparable to those offered by more complex and established methods. This paper concentrates on the lightweight application of wireless sensing and encompasses the following key contributions: 1) The development of a lightweight sensing model utilizing a single-antenna multicarrier system, which introduces a CSI ratio model that adapts multi-antenna techniques for single-antenna settings;2) The enhancement of feature stability through the introduction of a complex-plane fitting method using artificial vector, alongside a dual receiver based method for cross-scene feature generation aimed at producing stable and high-quality auxiliary features. Experimental results show that the feature extraction capability of the single-antenna multicarrier CSI ratio model is close to that of traditional multi-antenna scheme. On the gait dataset, when the enhanced CSI ratio is used as a feature, the accuracy is nearly 100%, surpassing the 93% accuracy of the original amplitude feature. On the gesture dataset, the combination of the enhanced CSI ratio and PEI features achieves an accuracy of 96%, which is superior to using the original CSI amplitude feature alone. An analysis of resource consumption shows that the lightweight SVM model incurs very low computational overhead during decision-making, validating the potential of this scheme in terms of efficiency and practical application. © 2014 IEEE.

The leakage of medical audio data in telemedicine seriously violates the privacy of *** order to avoid the leakage of patient information in telemedicine,a two-stage reversible robust audio watermarking algorithm is proposed to protect medical audio *** scheme decomposes the medical audio into two independent embedding domains,embeds the robust watermark and the reversible watermark into the two domains *** order to ensure the audio quality,the Hurst exponent is used to find a suitable position for watermark *** to the independence of the two embedding domains,the embedding of the second-stage reversible watermark will not affect the first-stage watermark,so the robustness of the first-stage watermark can be well *** the second stage,the correlation between the sampling points in the medical audio is used to modify the hidden bits of the histogram to reduce the modification of the medical audio and reduce the distortion caused by reversible *** experiments show that this scheme has strong robustness against signal processing operations such as MP3 compression of 48 db,additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN)of 20 db,low-pass filtering,resampling,re-quantization and other attacks,and has good imperceptibility.

The construction of health indicators (HI) is an essential parts of prognostics and health management (PHM). A good health indicator can accurately reflect the mechanical degradation process. Currently, most health indicator construction methods rely on abundant expert knowledge, but expert knowledge may be challenging to obtain. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a HI construction method based on unsupervised parallel multiscale convolutional long short-term memory neural network (PMCLSTM). Firstly, multiscale convolutional neural network (MSCNN) and multiscale long short-term memory neural network (MSLSTM) were used to extract multi-dimensional local and global features in parallel. Under the action of the LSTM neural network, the local jitter caused by CNN can be effectively reduced. Then, the linear regression (LR) model was used to fuse and reduce the acquired features to construct feature vectors. Finally, the relative similarity of the feature vector between the initial sample data and the current sample data is calculated, and the normalization method is used to construct the health indicator. The model is validated on the railway wagon wheel wear dataset and compared quantitatively with some advanced methods using two metrics, monotonicity and trendability. The experimental results show that the constructed HI is improved in both monotonicity and trendability, and the predicted remaining useful life of the wheel is in good agreement with the real remaining useful life, which can effectively identify the mechanical degradation process. © 2022 IEEE.

Chain-of-Thought (CoT) has become a vital technique for enhancing the performance of Large Language Models (LLMs), attracting increasing attention from researchers. One stream of approaches focuses on the iterative enhancement of LLMs by continuously verifying and refining their reasoning outputs for desired quality. Despite its impressive results, this paradigm faces two critical issues: (1) Single verification method: The current paradigm relies solely on a single verification method. (2) Wrong Information Ignorance: The traditional paradigm directly ignores wrong information during reasoning and refines the logic paths from scratch each time. To address these challenges, we propose Wrong-of-Thought (WoT), which includes two core modules: (1) Multi-Perspective Verification: A multi-perspective verification method for accurately refining the reasoning process and result, and (2) Wrong Information Utilization: Utilizing wrong information to alert LLMs and reduce the probability of LLMs making same mistakes. Experiments on 8 popular datasets and 5 LLMs demonstrate that WoT surpasses all previous baselines. In addition, WoT exhibits powerful capabilities in difficult computation tasks. © 2024 Association for Computational Linguistics.

This paper investigates the age of information(AoI)-based multi-user mobile edge computing(MEC)network with partial offloading *** weighted sum AoI(WSA)is first analyzed and derived,and then a WSA minimization problem is formulated by jointly optimizing the user scheduling and data *** to the non-analytic expression of the WSA *** optimization variables and the unknowability of future network information,the problem cannot be solved with known solution ***,an online Joint Partial Offloading and User Scheduling Optimization(JPOUSO)algorithm is proposed by transforming the original problem into a single-slot data assignment subproblem and a single-slot user scheduling sub-problem and solving the two sub-problems *** analyze the computational complexity of the presented JPO-USO algorithm,which is of O(N),with N being the number of *** results show that the proposed JPO-USO algorithm is able to achieve better AoI performance compared with various baseline *** is shown that both the user’s data assignment and the user’s AoI should be jointly taken into account to decrease the system WSA when scheduling users.
